To bait Kishimoto into copying it to show he's a hack. But most people don't even know Sasuke is a blatant ripoff because Naruto got more popular than HxH.

Sasuke was inspired from Hiei from YYH and another old ass anime called Sasuke.
I do love togashi but he wasn't the first one to write a story about someone who wants revenge because his friends/family /Clan were killed. It's literally one of the most popular stories in Japanese culture.

Hiei never lost a fight, Sasuke has.

I'm pretty sure Togashi and Kishimoto are best friends and exchange character and story ideas with each other, so I wouldn't say Kishimoto is ripping Togashi off
