What happened to the people who made these...

What happened to the people who made these? Most of the charts that are floating seem to be from the turn of the decade so they're somewhat outdated. Did Japan just stop producing good shows in 2013 so there hasn't been any reason to update or what?

People stopped lurking so Yea Forums stopped being helpful and started telling everyone to kill themselves. Speaking of which...

That's not a perfect list, but it's pretty good.
Needs GuP, Idolm@ster, and maybe Trigun.
flcl was trash, though

Wisdom.

>Idolm@ster
ha

1) People realized that they are disgusting newfags so they finally stopped making charts since they clearly lacked the necessary knowledge/qualifications to make them in the first palce
2) People who actually know about anime don't consider themselves knowledgable or neutral enough to make recommendation charts but realize that a recommendation needs to be custom tailored to an individual
3) Why contribute anything to this cesspool of a board?
4) Muh don't spoonfeed I like to talk to newfags so much!
5) 3x3 threads became popular so you don't need rec charts anymore, we have rec threads now

Nice bait, though.

Most well animated show of the decade. Sucks to be you, KusoAnus cultist. But I guess it's good your studio burned down so we'll soon be free of you people.

Iirc most recommendation threads were shitposted to death around the early teens, so it's not like that has changed that much over the years. No one says lurk more anymore though.

>the early teens
Most of the charts are from before then.

It's fucking impossible to do anything productive in this climate. I'm currently trying to organize anons into creating one of these for a completely separate thing (not anime) and 90% of feedback I get is dumb shit or trolling and other 10% are 'hey I like X, so please include it. No, I am not going to elaborate'.

>Nice bait, though.
I was seriously interested though. This came up on another board.

Yea, so? I was talking about Yea Forums.

>This came up on another board.
And there it is

The problem with all those charts is that they're highly subjective. You can't avoid that ... unless you'll let many people rate all anime in question and rank them according to the average score, in which case you end up with utterly mediocre uncontroversial shit at the top. That's what you get from MAL already.

Recommendation charts therefore are inherently flawed. That being said, I'd say that the one you posted isn't that bad, even though I do strongly disagree with some choices (Crybaby being th worst offender).

I'm pretty sure this one was made as a joke, but there's some legitimately good stuff there...

Also some crap, and also some unobtanium.

I'm sorry, but I don't exclusively lurk Yea Forums.

More like you don't lurk period.

Think what you will. You've already made your mind.

Please extend. I need more highbrow OVAs. Can recommend this chart to anyone who wants to truly explore animation as an artform.

Is there any recent chart for anime prediction releases. I remembered when some anons made one with ~50% correct predictions before any announcements were released

The joke charts usually included Desert Punk, Bible Black and such.

there was a sticky, basically told people to
lurk moar
lurk moar
go to
lurk moar

Desert Punk was fine. Never started the manga, though.

Apparently is getting good mileage out of it.

Same reason why seasonal charts stopped being a thing - they were replaced with automated services on the internet that did it faster and better. You can get a billion of such charts generated in the span of one microsecond, specifically for you and with your specific preferences in mind. Incidentally as the services were perfected, the problem is now not the fact that you can't get the info, but that you can't be assed to.

>to truly explore animation as an artform.
Then you don't wanna stick to watching cheap gookshit, you wanna expand your horizons looking at the likes of Fleischer and Chomet

>animation as an art form
>Burgershit
Lmao.

>franco-belge-québécois masterpiece like les triplettes de belleville
>burgershit
kill yourself

>list a production studio and a single director who has made like 3 films total, 1 of which is a short
>bro I am primarily referring to this French guy
Lmao. Kill yourself, indeed, subhuman American.

That's the trick. Some of the troll charts are to obvious. mixing the mediocre, unobtainable and other jokes makes it far more subtle
