No, thankfully Toei doesn't stroke the perverted ego of otakus. I'd be more worried about Trigger or A-1 or Banrise though. You reap what you sow. Make anime for deranged people, some of them are going to pay you back with interest. Pay you back not with yens but with bucket loads of gasoline and fire. This is what you get from an animation industry that has for all practical purposes become inbred and caters mostly to the otaku.

When that r9k chick got killed a few days ago my response was play stupid games win stupid prizes on account of she was constantly messing with the mentally ill and it bit her in the ass
The same thing has happened to kyo but I actually feel sympathy for them even though logically I should have the same stance to both incidents
