Part 8 is literally the best part excluding the climax of 7 and has more than enough potential to surpass even that. No other part is as tight stylistically

Agreed. People didn't like SBR when it came out because of how slow paced it felt, but now that it's finished everyone loves it. Part 8 has a larger amount of good fights, a few good side characters, and a properly complex villain.
