why do androids need big tits for?

To back up data. Don't be dumb.

tactical psychology

Kusanagi has a combat model body.
The boobies are to stop bullets, dumbass.

the female model is inferior to the male one in all respects though
she sticks to it because it's her only identity since she doesn't know what she looked like as a human (if she ever was one)

Distraction tits.

>>Netflix original
Aahhhahahahahaaaaaaaaaa

> It's not gonna be hand drawn

What's the point of any anime any more. Nothing is gonna look like the '95 magnum opus

Going by the SAC interpretation, she was around 7 or 8 when she was crippled by the plane crash. So they had to put her into a full body replacement at a pretty young age. Now 99% of her body is technically the property of the Japanese government.

She keeps the female body since it's the last part of herself that she considers *hers*.

>it's going to be CGI
what happened to anime and why are we living in the worst timeline

Between this and Kengan Asura, I'm convinced that God is punishing us for some slight towards him.

Tachikomas are the cutest robots

God, in his infinite wisdom, is trying to push his flock back into the superior medium: Manga.

just wait a few years. Manga is going to be full of CGI and photoshop filters too. That or webcomics are going to take over

>netflix original

Attached: 1542487676812.jpg (1280x720, 92K)

It's probably gonna be all CGI so not sure how it will be handled, although it CAN'T be worse than Arise. SAC 3rd Gig sounds good enough, it's just sad that Origa died so we won't have her singing the new opening theme T^T

what the fuck happened to prod IG

the turn of the millennium

I'd jack to her tits if you know what I mean.

I would love to watch but I'm not ever again consuming anything by Production I.G. after what they did to FLCL.

Considering that it's the same studio as Ultraman then that's the best you could've hoped for considering how truly wretched traditional animation on the netflix budget looks. I mean, unless you want a SAC with the ugly gradients and static lipflaps of Baki.

If Netflix follows the money it might be good.
But we all know Netflix is pozzed and is likely to fuck with it.

Arise had massive problems too. They've been a bit off since 2010 and I don't know why. Did some staff leave?
They made eden of the east in 2009 and that was great.
Psycho Pass had problems though and that was like 2010.

>netflix original
are they going to shrink her tits, make her wear more clothes, or both?

They could up her lesbian interactions with women or make her use a male body and fuck guys with it.
Or even better make her a spare body collection of random race color.

May her glorious voice rest in peace...

Why isn't Yea Forums boycotting them yet?

Maybe like a decade or so ago, you'd think this would be good right? But holy fuck whenever I think CGI in anime, I just always attribute laziness to it now.

netflix hasnt had much intervention when it comes to anime as they have with their live action shit. Just look at devilman

Why does a small minority of 3D anime constantly make people think that everything is now 3D?

>Netflix original

NOOOOOOOO

I really hope they stay true to Major's Solid State Society look, it's perfection

This shit is doomed isn't it.
All I wanted was an anime adaptation with a style like pic. Instead we got pozz central.

Can somebody destroy netflix headquarters already just for destroying GITS?

Apparently it's CGI.
It's fucked. It's not even released and we already know it's gonna be shit.

I haven't watched Arise cause I heard it sucks and am not really interested on Psycho Pass.
Wish they finished adapting Kimi ni Todoke instead of this bullshit.

Fully CGI like blame!?

FUCK

NO

I actually like her early version, which is a bit like that version only with a few minor tweaks. The eyes are better and it's more "gritty".

Attached: serveimage.jpg (739x563, 102K)

Was Arise even good? I fucking hated Motoko's design in there so I never gave it a chance

Arise is ok, but you will notice the problems. Some of the decisions with the dialogue and plot devices made in the ova series made no sense at all. Movie was a lot better though.

She likes lesbians

Let's just hope that her CGI design isn't as fucking awful as ARISE Motoko's design

it honestly feels like cg is taking over more and more everyday. I'm getting scared now

>small minority
If you're talking about full 3D anime, then yeah. But almost every anime has CGI backgrounds, vehicles, guns, mecha now, and too many of them uses shitty camera rotations.
Though full 3D CGI anime are taking over thanks to them being cheap and netflix is pushing them so hard for some reason.

I liked the design, but didn't like some of the writing and bits of the dialogue.
They did think about the themes heavily though. I liked that aspect of it as GitS is not just a popcorn show (even though hooks you), it's deeply philosophical.

Well yeah no shit, it's easier/cheaper to do. If they still make money from it then of course it would be the logical but unfortunate step to take

i know why its happening, doesnt mean i've gotta like it

Psycho Pass is Minority Report but good.

Arise is a decent anime, but it rapes Ghost in the Shell. Too much of a focus on gimmicky action-movie plots.

But it might be beginning to impact sales. People are talking about it all the time. I've dropped shows (see berserk) due to grotesque CGI. To me, CGI is not a good replacement at all for most anime styles. It comes of as ugly and cheap. If you're gonna make a show CGI just for money then you might as well not make it and start a different business. There's no point in it.

CG *can* be good, but usually isn't.
What a shame.

>Netflix original
>CGI
>They will propably turn Batou into a side character/forget about him entirely

Attached: The movie is over.jpg (640x480, 98K)

Agreed

Yeah I've also began to just flat out drop CGI anime. Hopefully they find a happy medium between the two or at least not make the CG look like shit in the future, but who knows

>turning the most badass of the team into a side character

If Netflix does this, we riot

Nah they'll do Batou right but force the Major/Batou relationship down our throat.

Everyone else in the team though, they'll probably make them minorities, like black/mexican/whatever

The major is just a mary sue and arguably the least interesting character of the gang. Even the literal whos have more personality.

>Major is a Mary Sue

Nigga wat?

THey are going to double down on the major being a transexual and the LGBTQA themes aren't they?

She is the best at everything and even surpasses the actual team specialists and the morality of the show tends to center around her.

fuck that's actually possible

Name a netflix original anime that isn't filled with gay.

>major being a transexual

Fucking speedwatcher

Grant from Castlevania was completely removed, so.

Peaky Blinders and Daredevil off the top of my head

>Yeah I've also began to just flat out drop CGI anime.
The worst part is that I'm not doing so out of protest, I'm literally trying to watch something and it's CGI style just looks so bad I cannot watch it without the style distracting me form the actual narrative. And the PLOT is shit too when CGI.
Clearly netflix doesn't understand what they are doing here. They think they'll get away with this style when in fact they'll lose viewers by the pure ugliness of it. Anime is a very "beauty orientated" unlike western animation. You need to draw it by hand in order to get that quality right, or it comes off as ugly.

Oh you said anime I'm retarded

>force the Major/Batou relationship down our throat
Wouldn't mind this at all. Seeing Major fail at dating is suffering.

>In the year 2045, after global capitalism has defaulted, Japan's elite Section 9 begins conducting covert cyber operations in California.

You have got to be fucking kidding. Would this be possible with that type of unit?

>taking Section 9 out of Japan

Absolute fucking cringe.

This is DOA, and setting it in Cali will give Netflix an excuse to shove as much leftist bullshit in there as possible too, great.

Attached: Aramaki horrifed.png (300x300, 9K)

good timing at least seeing as how Elon Musk is going to make cyberpunk real by implanting a computer chip into somebody's brain next near

Hold on, why would Section 9 need to even operate outside of Japan?

The only thing that would save it would be Section 9 destroying California with cyberterrorism.

Who is your favorite non-major member?

Attached: The Major and boytoy.jpg (632x506, 120K)

Yeah that doesn't make sense. They're allowed to operate pretty independently in Japan. Going to another country . It's probably going to be something along the lines of both the american empire/japan is getting affected by whatever baddy and the americans request section 9 for help

Togusa. Dude just wants to go home to his kids most of the time.

God I loved his backstory about how he lost his eye to the major.

That's why I'm starting to go over SAC in the wiki. I thought this wasn't their purpose, but then again I thought they were just an independent organisation, i.e. a japanese proxy.
Eh... maybe, but I doubt that they would stay out of trouble there like they would in Japan. They're basically a proxy front for Japanese law enforcement.

>yfw they bring back the laughing man and make him gay

Or that country is making a deal with Japan to have section 9 cover both countries.
Or.. they're just breaking the American laws without care (potentially subversively to America).

Section 9 is basically a law enforcement branch specializing in cyberterrorism. They just so happen to do things that can neither be confirmed nor denied.

So like a SWAT team made up of CIA agents that also do black ops on occasion. Can imagine they do shit for other countries if the threat affects Japan enough.

I must wonder...What's it like to have a 1000+ lbs cyborg riding you?

There's some precedent for it at least with that episode where Motko and Batou are in Germany as part of an international effort to bring down a terrorist, but that's because he targeted Japan too I think, among many other countries.

>but that's because he targeted Japan too I think, among many other countries.
I also don't see them acting for anyone but Japan's interest. In fact if they did go beyond that they'd likely get cut off from Japan or something.
I wonder how often that happens in reality.

Netflix probably agreed to fund it only if they could "Americanize" it more by making Section 9 operate in California when its not at all what they're supposed to do, especially not as a full unit.

That just makes me mad, Netflix definitely have an agenda in mind, nothing is sacred.

There were a few episodes where they went abroad in an official capacity such as Germany. But isn't California part of the Russo-American nation in this world now? And Japan is allied to the east coast American Empire?

sounds cool on paper to have it in california
>Cyborg Coyotes using humans and prosthetic bodies to smuggle shit
>Cyberpunk Tiajuana-San Diego
>Cultural fish out of water Section 9 vs. Shitskin Central

I would gladly die to find out.

Honestly, as fucking weeb as this may sound, I kinda just prefer they stayed in Japan

Straight out of the manga. In fact the part of the manga where she has it on, Ana and Unipuma show up out of nowhere trying to sell robot parts to one of the Fuchikomas.

First working along with Studio Khara to butcher the NGE dub and sub, and now promoting a fuckton of CGI anime. I think they're pushing for some real horseshit about CGI being the future.

How do you know he wasn't guy the first time around?

Can't wait for shitflix to fall into irrelevance after the major TV shows leave their service and all they have left is crap, and their own in-house crap, and their pathetic anime lineup that's almost all CGI crap

fuck shitflix

Yeah, GITS is fundamentally Japanese in its writing.

But isn't Appleseed, which is set in LA if I recall, canon in the GITS universe or shares it? so what the fuck is the point.

You will be waiting a very, very long time.

Office and Friends are leaving Netflix soon and thats 90% of what viewers mostly watch Netflix for

clocks ticking

Appleseed is set in Olympus, but Duenan and Briarious are from LA.

Funny thing too.
>the monopoly Shitflix has over streaming services are now breaking up and resulting in either genuine competition in the form of Hulu or with content-exclusive streaming ala Disney+
Same as it ever was, looks like the Jews are making streaming into the next Television.

>Kamiyama Kenji
that's how, the man didn't understand shit about GitS and as a result SAC2 was the worse installment in the series, with SAC1 slightly behind above that and Innocence

you sure you mean Arise and not SAC?
you sound like you were describing SAC there

Thus pushing everybody into the warm, loving arms of piracy. Nobody wants to pay 60 bucks a month for twenty different streaming platforms that only have two shows you want to watch on them.

The fact they're using CGI makes me incredibly suspicious about what they are trying to do. This is either going to be a miraculous breakthrough in CGI and anime on netflix, or the worst cancer to ever infect GitS.

I'm not that worried about the location as long as it isn't used in a non-GitS way and instead more for an agenda.

>still salty about Netflix adding a black person to Death Note
pathetic

>And Japan is allied to the east coast American Empire?

After what happened at the end of 2nd Gig, you'd think Kayabuki would want Japan to stay friends with the American Empire?

user, they heavily hinted that Major was originally a little boy. Besides, there are many many eps where using bodies to sex change is a thing.
And once the hormones of the body are fully replaced with 100% controlled and measured hormones from an external source...the major can really be whatever it wants.
Except for the brains dna being male...
Still...

>12y/o boy
well have fun with your very deeeep muh lost childhood friend plot, your I was a little kid but I almost died in a plane crash, your lack of any meaning to the ghost/shell duality, your watered down philosophy world where everybody quotes american literature, your very serious high cut leotard, your Motoko I'm worried for you let me love you Batou and everything else, I could really go on for days about why not only Arise is better, but SAC is also shit by any real standard

What do you mean? Production IG has always been a progressive studio in the sense that they modernize before other studios and move on instead of looking back. Hardly a surprise.

It's almost critical of modern liberalism to a degree, probably unintentionally though.

>>Netflix original
What a waste.

>user, they heavily hinted that Major was originally a little boy.

No they didn't at least not in SAC Universe which is where this 3rd season is taking place.

cheap

The only thing I've actually seen netflix shows have is shit translations. When netflix is making shows like Love Death Robots, I don't think there's any worry that, visually, there will be censoring.

Also this

imagine being a brain with no control at all forced to live and experience time for possibly hundreds of years
suicide (with incinerator) after the first brain transplant?

She's technically a human, female, and because lifelike texture. They do also feel, and have needs.

The universe does have people taking full body cyberization to levels where they ditch the human/humanoid form alltogether, but they're very rare - even amongts those having undergone full body cyberization which itself is rare because of the cost.

I thought it was implied they slept together at Batou's safe house when the Umibozu were hunting Section 9, hence his melodramatic reaction of "MOTOKOOO!" when she gets shot and feeling pissed when it turned out she was playing dead.

Same reason she gets too walk around her workplace in her underwear. She's the best at what she does so she gets to do what she wants.
Awfully rude to her coworkers, though.

Stand Alone Complex is the best. Fite me

I'm sure it's mostly posters from Yea Forums and other undesirables with who complain about absolutely nothing because they are /x/ tier mentally ill children, but is there actually a downside to Netflix? Nobody has ever complained when an anime is a TBS (not that TBS you stupid Yea Forums nigger), or some other station's exclusive so this seems absolutely forced and arbitrary.

Hulu and Netflix got a decent collection. Just ignore the incel neckbeards.

>but is there actually a downside to Netflix?
The only one I've seen shitty translations. Aside from Evangelion, I think there was some weird meme shit in other shows they licensed. Though I might be getting them confused with other localizers. Otherwise I think it's just a way to shit on overall quality. ie. a show sponsored by Netflix must be of low quality. I don't think we've seen any actual evidence that Netflix's being the publisher has had any real effect on content.

It was shit as an adaption and it was shit as a cyberpunk film in general. Just watch Blade Runner 2049. Or Alita Battle Angel for an actual good adaption not directed by a shitty music video director who's only claim to fame was fucking the bitch from Twilight

No they didn't. The only time the Major was a dude was at the end of the GITS manga.

Alita was a better Ghost in the Shell than the Scar Ho version.

Netflix anime tend to rely heavily CGI.
They all look so sterile and soulless. Look at this abomination.
Netflix produces 30 original anime a year, but only a few get any discussion.

Attached: AAAABR-DTKbCNEErSgtl59W11va6t3X6UjxgcBoAPj1XCb8KA9OIaO9FnfUfaliHWBWPPhYdYArBdbsiTsmzEGSQ8VAe1tK2yrsw (1024x576, 205K)

yeah I was surprised at how good alita came out, but i read that the director was a huge fan and wanted to adapt it well

Yeah that's what happens when an adaption is made by people who actually give a fuck about the source material.

Funny how CGI in 2003 looks pretty similar to (maybe better than) what we get most vehicles now. I keep forgetting how massive SAC's per episode budget was for such a long (pay per view?) anime.

I challenge your claim with this...

Say what you will about the story, this show was pure fucking eye candy

Attached: B the beginning.jpg (1134x1600, 642K)

The main problem with the live action movie is that it didn't get Ghost in the Shell. They act like Kusanagi being mostly artificial is some groundbreaking story element, but in universe it's really not that big of a deal.

It wanted to be Blade Runner, but that's not the source material. GitS is more like OG Deus Ex, where the cyberpunk aspects are downplayed and fit more into a perceivable reality.

The ScarJo movie felt like some retard watched Dredd and Bladerunner and sort of remembered the best scenes from the 95 movie.

wasn't it the avatar director and it was like his dream project for a long ass time?

Oh and it had the cutest trap I have seen in an anime in years

Dude, James Cameron has been waiting on technology to catch up to his vision. Thank fuck we got auteurs like him.

Robert Rodriguez.

James Cameron produced it though. Both are big anime fans, and Rodriguez loves Alita.

>some slight towards him
I think we've moved past a slight

Attached: liberal degeneracy.jpg (765x743, 161K)

It was a shameless cash grab in order to get in with the "anime fad". I haven't seen it, but the trailers make it look like trash.
Yep.

Robot Communications has done it far better. Though they don't go for the meme 12fps anime look which is a plus.

I didn't like a lot of it due to the innaccuracies with the original material and the weird little parts where you think "why the fuck is this in this?".
For example that fucking strip bar scene when the asian gang leader (?) makes the stupid face and noise for no fucking reason. I nearly spat out my food watching that scene.

Otherwise, it got a lot of GitS right and scarjo a qt. THERE I SAID IT.

I can't wait for the CGI to be worse than the 2003 series somehow despite having 16 years of technological advances

James Cameron was busy with Avatar and handed direction to Rodriguez. I think we got the best from both.

>The main problem with the live action movie is that it didn't get Ghost in the Shell. They act like Kusanagi being mostly artificial is some groundbreaking story element, but in universe it's really not that big of a deal.

This. This pissed me off the most out of everything. Right from the first fucking trailer it was clear they didn't "get" GITS. She's "unique", the "first of her kind" a "weapon". The Major's prosthetic body is a regular model, the Oshii movie even shows that others have the same model as she did.

Not to mention The Major isn't a cyborg by choice, she is "kidnapped" and experimented on. It was basically Robocop with tits

>It was a shameless cash grab in order to get in with the "anime fad".
I don't see how this could be, the anime fad has been over for years. It's gotten back down to the level of background radiation. Most people know what it is, but we're long gone from the days where DC, Marvel, and most western animation was desperately trying to figure out how to cash in on the market for manga/anime that popped up.

that does give me hope. To know that it's actually possible in Hollywood, it's just most directors so far haven't given a fuck to produce a decent live action

Yeah. Avatar was originally a tech demo for Alita.

No neckbeards here user. This is a place for little girls only.
You must be lost.

I hated how it mashed Part Two and 95 together. Say what you will about Scar Jo, but she was utterly wrong for the part.

Not Hollywood, but iirc that french live action of City Hunter was supposed to be good as well

I like arise too

Full of liberal faggotry, probably by law at this stage given murrica.

How is Innocence? Better than the first movie?
How is SAC? Full of fillers?

Only problem was with the sequel bait ending. It physically hurt to see the end credits pop up when they did.

Which is probably the best problem to have as an audience member.

>netflix original
will it de cheap as fuck like all the others?

Alita is hands down the best IMAX 3D movie I've seen to date.

why does she has to be so sexy?

No. Innocence was an hour and a half of eye candy and navel gazing pseudo-philosophy.

It's a "hey we can make money off a show we don't really care about" type thing.

This is what I mean. You're a subhuman from Yea Forums complaining about normalfag problems not present in anime.

I was actually okay with some of the timeline changes they made. Ed Norton as Nova somehow worked.

SAC is peak GitS. Super good.

Innocence is a good sequel, but it's not as good as the original. Makes Batou look badass though.

She really was. Even if they changed the story to have the Major be American and put the whole thing in the US I still wouldn't have picked her as the Major. She was only sought after for name power.

My only problem is he really should have been eating flan when they showed him.

Looks pretentious as hell.
>has a trap
For fan service or agenda pushing?

And Black Widow. The best choice would have been to cast an unknown like in Alita.

Tachikoma a cute! CUTE!

Have faith. Hopefully the sequel will open of a long, slow pull out of flan. It'll confuse the audience, but the Alita nerds will go wild.

>It wanted to be Blade Runner, but that's not the source material. GitS is more like OG Deus Ex, where the cyberpunk aspects are downplayed and fit more into a perceivable reality.
So much this. But that said I liked the world they made, even if it wasn't very GitS.

Neither. I'd still stick my dick in though

From what I've seen, it looked like a gaudy Blade Runner ripoff.

It's probably not getting a sequel. While it made a respectable 400M at the box office, Disney would consider that not sequel worthy. The critics were also meh on it.

I only said that because that poster I replied too was clearly a massive faggot that sucks off old men for money.

Attached: fgt.jpg (665x718, 173K)

James Cameron has a big Hollywood dick. If he pitched a bitch, Disney will cave.
Also, does this mean that Alita is a Disney princess?

>Neither
I am disappoint.

That's half a billion user. Half a fucking billion.
Are you retarded?
They're gonna boost the budget for the sequel.

Who cares this is a GitS thread. Fuck outta here.

Attached: 1562943339875.png (400x419, 46K)

Which would suck after setting up Jashugan and the Motorball arc

It did the worst domestically because critics were looking for a Blade in the Shell shoegaze ripoff.

The budget was 170 million + marketing. The rule of the box office is double your budget to break even. 2.5x to be considered a success. So it's a bubble movie, like PacRim. And the PacRim sequel flopped.

Ghost in the Shell live action sucked. Reboot and give it to Cameron and Rodriguez.

Well, PacRim was meh.

Or Based Denis Villeneuve. He could fit it in after he finishes Dune.

The GITS franchise will forever be haunted by Innocence's unmatched excellency.

Attached: spooky togusa.jpg (1920x1036, 271K)

PacRim sequel sucked because it was godawful.

Sure, kill off Mako in the opening scene. That totally isn't a cheap attempt at shocking the audience.

>Reboot and give it to Cameron and Rodriguez.
I said get out.

>Netflix anime tend to rely heavily CGI.
But most "Netflix originals" are not produced by them, only exclusively distributed. They label all of their works in an intentionally misleading way in order to seem more important than they are. Among all the anime Netflix actually did properly produce, about half of them are 2D, and there's no indication Netflix especially pushes for CG.
And NetflixJP seems to produce works with the Japanese market in mind, with international viewers being an afterthought. All of the complains about agenda's being pushed and liberal faggotry are the product of paranoid /pol/kiddies.
tl;dr Get the fuck off my board you faggots

No u

>All of the complains about agenda's being pushed and liberal faggotry are the product of paranoid
One look at C&T proves you wrong

So Innocence was good,now?

It was good when I watched it in a theater in 2004, and it's good now.

Weren't Devilman Crybaby and Violet Evergarden Netflix originals?

Yup!

No, it wasn't. It was eye candy. SAC blew it away.

With theater you mean "cinema"?
Welp, I heard it's pretty pseudo-simplistic-philosophical shit. Just like 95's movie

>eye candy
what the heck does it mean
... Oh, I get it now. Thanks for the new word

95 felt more rooted and less technobabble tho.

>statement
>random philosophical/psycholgical quote

>counter statement
>another quote

The first movie did not provoke thinking or cause me to question my existence or my self worth as a human being, it just wasn't complex or deep enough to change my views on humanity, and instead the topics it brought up seemed obvious to me.

People who criticise Innocence for "being philosophical" are the kind of people who take what the characters say at face value and are oblivious to context.

The tits are because a human needs to look like a human to feel like a human. A person's "shell" has the ability to alter their "ghost".
This is shown in STC 2nd gig(dude with scars)and , and is a real life thing.
She's a woman, women have tits.
The size of the tits is because cheesecake. I preferred 2nd gigs more grounded outfit.

Netflix didn't produce C&T. They are a distributor.
But you stupid faggots don't care about facts, you just want to complain all the time.

It's also cause the manga author drew porn. Let's not kid ourselves here.

Dude, face it. It was boring as watching grass grow.

GitS was porn too
>Implying you wouldn't have jerked off to it if you were alive in the 90s

So is fucking Motoko, fucking a Real Doll?

Attached: __kusanagi_motoko_ghost_in_the_shell_drawn_by_kiyo_chaoschyan__dec7608a4d443e0f80977ad54752cebf.jpg (2051x2945, 384K)

Retards still thinking Netflix produces anime. So far they haven't produced any. First anime Netflix helps produce is some shit called Eden and is coming out next year.

A Real Doll with a human mind uploaded into it. Who can also snap your dick in two with her pinkie.

>Netflix original
Oh boy I can't wait to get educated on the various transgenderisms.

see

Major's body is functionally indistinguishable from an expensive sex doll, especially given that in GITS sex dolls come with an AI that mimics human behavior.

Some rewards are worth the risk.

All I want is a SAC season 3 with a novel antagonist and philosophical question addressed. Is that too much to ask for in life.
Is it?

Attached: 1538923124414.jpg (640x640, 27K)

You can't top Laughing Man.

>I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes

Even the Puppet Master ain't got shit.

Also it will be all in 3DCG, but I guess I liked the Apleseed shit enough to where I won't mind. But I doubt it will feel exactly the same like SAC1 and 2 did.

One of the greatest in anime.

Let's just face it, the SAC continuity was a fluke.

I wonder what shows and pictures the character designer will copy pasta from.

Attached: BLOCKED.gif (400x225, 1.68M)

They don't have too. Just so long as the 'Villain' is decent and the political and moral debates are well done, not even great just good, I'd be happy.
But instead people keep taking a fantastic setting and premise and just not getting much out of it.

I just can't understand man.

What are your thoughts on Gohda?

Attached: 2sac4x04.jpg (389x219, 68K)

>downside to Netflix
All of their animation looks every expense was spared. Some of it is fine in terms of writing (Castlevania), but all of it looks cheap at best.

>it's going to be CGI
I'd be fine with even subpar CGI, if only Origa was still alive to sing everything.
youtube.com/watch?v=QxkMzn4et2U

Castlevania is not anime and Netflix did not fund whatever anime you're thinking of.

i wonder who's the bad guy

And it's CGI. Too bad because the staff is good.

>they heavily hinted that Major was originally a little boy
The delusion of this mentally ill abomination.

Even when I was a little kid in elementary school me & my friends knew shit like Speed Racer wasn't created by the TV station it aired on and it was a dubbed over foreign cartoon

somehow in the year 2019 kids think netflix made an anime because its broadcasted by them.....what the fuck went wrong? were normalfags always this fucking stupid?

She canonically makes the porn videos, that's why

Because we all know big tits are the best

This is the best Major

Ballast

They'll poorly translate it. Quit worrying and learn Nihongo.

Togusa better get his focus.
I'd also like it if the rest of the side cast got some focus, like the bald Not!Bato, Beard Guy, and the Sniper-who-might-actually-be-his-ex.
None of those guys got the highlight they needed.

Do we know how many episodes yet?

Togusa, he's my favorite in general though

Don't worry, it'll look just like that SAC intro.
Same 'expression' as well.

He was a monster virgin, the elite of the elite

Can someone explain to me why the Major is always the most boring part of any GitS adaptation?

can I have a Tachikoma?

Who knows, maybe it turns out looking good. Anime being cgi doesn't necessarily mean it will look bad.

Boring is a good change of pace from most movies and shows.

Is he actually his ex?

Not when boring is just boring. I watched it all the way through once and have avoided it since.

Superman Syndrome, plus the themes of loss of permanence, coherence and integrity of identity and faith and commodification of aspects of human nature in a post-thiestic globo-capitalist dystopia aren't as resonant as they were in the '70s-'90s period to intelligent viewers now that we more or less live in a similar world to those character minus all of the cool bits.

If it makes you feel a little better:
