For shame.

At least we have more Perona from Smurf. Please do her in one of her bathing suits with more natural tiddies pls

Who the fuck is that Redons guy. Some filthy mexican I assume? How can he get spoilers early?

Do you think the reason Oda still has so much passion for One Piece is because he's basically incorporating elements from his various oneshots? I know he basically did Wanted to find out which series would stick out and Romance Dawn won, but One Piece feels like it incorporates so many elements that it's no wonder Oda's never felt burnt out. Any limitations at this point are moreso physical than mental.

>It's another prison chapter.
and op is another faggot

She's made for black men

That's not at all why or how those stories were made. He was always planning out One Piece.

That's not what I was insinuating. I'm saying that he clearly has a wild imagination, and kinda just did a bunch of different shit and decided to incorporate ideas or concepts from them into One Piece. Oda never intended for One Piece to be as big as it did.

> I know he basically did Wanted to find out which series would stick out and Romance Dawn won,
This part here is literally what you said and it's wrong, he was always going to make One Piece.

I don't think any mangaka teally knows how successful their story is going to be until it actually pans out.

But that being said I think this was always meant to be Oda's big break. He's shown drafts of the Grandline and One Piece that he drew when he was a kid so I think those short stories were just until he got a solid deal with a large manga publisher company.

I just want to be smothered by Carrot's tits

let's be real, I don't think the waist of OP girls are very healthy. Not saying I don't like them.

IMAGINE

Who is the next Straw Hat?

Not healthy as in can't do heavy lifting sure, but fact is if that physique had a flat chest none of you would even complain or make such a notion about it. And yet, you all act like tits weigh like 20kg or that a woman's back can't be trained to support big tits.

You have plastic bimbos today with fake tits even bigger than the ones shown in One Piece, with waists just as thin. They can maintain that form because they work out properly without going overboard and building unnecessary muscle. While it's impossible for their entire body to be natural, the fact that the form itself can be maintained for years and years surpassing the longevity of their face that slowly grows older is a testament to your prejudices being merely built on women who simply don't exercise properly.

There's no spoilers out yet so let's discuss what you like most about One Piece whether it's the plot or characters or etc.

I think my favourite thing is about how completely unattached to anything the protagonists are as pirates. Not fighting for the sake of the planet, their kingdom, a underground or non-underground organization or what not.

BUUUUT KAIDOOO-SAAAAN~

you don't need to like girls to write them well. It's how Boichi claims he hates drawing guys yet he's ridiculously good at drawing them.

Since we're talking about Boichi are y'all hyped for that Zoro-Mihawk Boichi spinoff coming for the OP 22nd anniversary?

Since it's apparently just gonna be their fight at Baratie, not really.

Rox captin of the rox pirates, he'll take jimbeis role after his death is revealed

What are you, retarded? Wanted is just a collection of random one-shots made over a period of six or seven years, which was published after One Piece was already ongoing. All authors use to have such volumes because the way to get into the industry is make one-shots and hope one gets picked up for a serial. He clearly incorporated Ryuma on a whim because it doesn't even make sense (and he also incorporated that more than a decade ago, so it has nothing to do with his passion now). I think it's obvious what keeps both Oda and the audience invested in One Piece is Oda's refusal to reveal anything prematurely even if everything else along the way is made up on the fly no matter what contradiction is created. The manga is sustained these days by simply finally making good on stuff that was implied decades ago.

while i'd like a peek into zoros training I do like Boichi's art so yeah i'm interested

Will we finally learn how Zoro sacrificed his best friend to gain the sharingan?

Just now getting to the wane arc in the anime and it looks great.

what the hell? I totally missed that. I'm really curious to see how he'll draw them.
Zoro will probably look like Ken cosplaying as Zoro
so it will be a spinoff of their training then?

Or you know the characters, the plot or story. But the mystery of OP is a big cherry on top.

>even if everything else along the way is made up on the fly
Well I'm sure some stuff would be made up on the spot because he thinks it'll be an interesting addition the overarching plot and backstory in OP has been consistent from the very beginning of the series.

>t-trust me guys

Those are her natural titties.

I will literally riot if Chopper doesn't get some sort of spotlight in Wano. There's too much that would strike an emotional chord with his character and plot elements that need focus.

>Chopper cures SMILE
If Oda doesn't do this he will go down in history as a talentless hack.

>or the characters, the plot or story
All things he refuses to reveal prematurely. There are mostly mysterious characters and important story events from the very earliest era of the manga that are still mostly unrevealed two decades later and only hinted at. Shanks and his crew, Roger and his crew, Dragon, Devil Fruits, the conspiracy behind the whole world and the secret of the treasure the series is named after.

All the stuff in-between is the random shit Oda makes up on the fly no matter how it contradicts anything else. Because the ending in One Piece is implied from the beginning, Oda capitalizes on the popularity by stretching out the middle of the story rather than continuing it past its natural end (like most other Jump authors did). If you have ever been invested in One Piece, it is likely the things you want to know or see will not happen until the very end.

Zombie monet when?

I thought he did try to kill him. Burgess himself said that he was barely hanging on with his life so read slower next time.

>All things he refuses to reveal prematurely.
You mean apart from all the ones he has revealed already not even including the main characters.

>There are mostly mysterious characters and important story events from the very earliest era of the manga that are still mostly unrevealed two decades later and only hinted at.Shanks and his crew, Roger and his crew, Dragon, Devil Fruits, the conspiracy behind the whole world and the secret of the treasure the series is named after.
It's obvious that the Roger Pirates and what they found in Raftel is synonymous with what the Revolutionaries know about the origins of the World Government which ties into what One Piece (object) is. All of this is interconnected and what the series is built on, I did say the mystery behind the series is an additional positive feature of the story even if you want to spin it as a negative.

>All the stuff in-between is the random shit Oda makes up on the fly
The journey of the Strawhats is the juicy bit about the story. I couldn't give a shit about what One Piece actually is in comparison to seeing them fulfill their dreams and become big league pirates.

Not having your dick do the thinking is generally an aid for any character writing

only the shittier ones

law is a surgeon, chopper is a medical doctor

He was first gonna leave with Burgess still conscious, then Burgess started talking shit to get Sabo off-guard but failed and Sabo blasted him a Fire Fist.

>Name ONE (1) reason why Sabo didn't outright kill Burgess
sabo explains it directly to burgess in-universe, i'm not gonna spoon-feed you any longer

Geez, calm down, just because something is revealed now doesn't mean people didn't have to wait decades for it to be revealed. Wano was set up more than a decade ago. Oda is just now retconning origins of East Blue characters (Sanji and Zoro) as he did with Luffy after Ennies Lobby to live up to all the massive changes that have increased the scope of the world. Nothing in the manga has any meaning that can't be massively changed later when Oda decides to reveal some secret we didn't know yet.

The Straw Hats aren't even significant characters in the story anymore and haven't been since Sabaody.

Luffy confirmed for being an edgy swordsman since chapter 1

One of the reasons Mihawk is the best swordsman is he always stopped his opponents weapon before they got to his face

So?
>Wano was set up more than a decade ago.
Yeah, so?
>Oda is just now retconning origins of East Blue characters (Sanji and Zoro) as he did with Luffy after Ennies Lobby to live up to all the massive changes that have increased the scope of the world.
Lol nope.
>Nothing in the manga has any meaning that can't be massively changed later when Oda decides to reveal some secret we didn't know yet.
Adding to a characters backstory =/= changing the very core of the story.

>The Straw Hats aren't even significant characters in the story anymore
They're just one part of a very large world I agree.

The Klabautermann has been there the whole time

Sabo's a inherently good guy and isn't violent as Luffy or Ace. He already stole the Mera Mera no mi from him and beat him black and blue so there was no point to killing him. The only one who's really going to get it is BB.

they don't have to mean anything at all the s doesn't change the way you pronounce ace so it still fits

Literally the first time we see Shiryu is him immediately backstabbing Impel Down guards right after he promises to fight for them. A invisible fruit suits his personality and fighting style well.

The phoenix fruit is still there and most likely will be consumed by Blackbeard to juggle his darkness fruit disadvantages.

nice headcanon retard

I want to see Oda do an original oneshot some day, something unrelated to One Piece.

Brook is with them only since a month (and half at most) if we doesn't count the timeskip.

>Sabo-tards really pulling the "S ON THE TATTOO WAS ALWAYS FORESHADOWING" shit again

Fuck off with your shoehorned in character. It's obviously meant to be Ace mispelling his name as phonetically it's supposed to be A-S~ (not A-Ke as it is spelled) and there is no deep reason to throw an S randomly in his name and not reference Luffy for some other reason as well in the tattoo.

That was Magellan's biggest character flaw and why the prisoners even escaped Impel Down. If Shiliew didn't save the WB pirates then they wouldn't all have gone off to MF and instead they'd most likely be dead considering Magellan was planning on destroying Impel Down rather then let them escape.
His sense of being a strict merciless head jailor is what led to the biggest prisonbreak in history.

Luffy is alive, Sabo was dead (at least they tought he is)

...The lack of self awareness in this post is literally confusing me

>SO TO HONOUR MY DEAD BROTHER I AM RANDOMLY GOING TO THROW HIS INITIAL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TATTOO WITH MY NAME ON IT

Explain this logic to me

>and not reference Luffy
Yes because Luffy was the one that died and Ace wanted to remember him somehow. Good post user.

no proof of this except there is proof of a S in ace's tattoo
nice headcanon

What's the A then? Did Ace have a girlfriend called Alice who fell down the stairs and died?

No proof except Sabo's name begins with an S and doesn't make sense with it's position in the tattoo.

You guys can't be such brainlets. I refuse to admit that you're this fucking Goda delusional with such a basic joke

>Explain this logic to me
Explain what? I know a dude that tattooed a really shitty drawing his dead child drew on his back. Where does logic come into that?

people get tattoos to honor their dead family all the time, i'm not going to claim oda planned to have sabo form the time ace appeared but it isn't impossible that he did

it is okay, but why did he mix it up with his own name?

>What's the A then?
It's Ace's name with Sabo included. Nothing more or less lol.

Why not?

That makes zero sense, why would be write ASCE on himself on purpose?

Tattoos are impossible to discuss rationally on Yea Forums because seething nerds (you) who want women and the world to be as logical and high-inhib as them.

>carrotfags being this delusional

top cuck

What's more likely
>ace is a retard and can't write
or
>ace decided to get a tattoo of his name but for some bizarre reason decided to write S in the middle and cross over it so that he won't forget sabo, ending up with a tattoo that makes zero sense either way

It would make more sense if it would be a colored tattoo and coloring the L inside the E different. Then his tatto would include all of the initials as a memento for Ace, Sabo and Luffy brothership

>

Attached: 3DA5E3AF-B928-4A09-8AFD-0758E6262EF1.png (339x285, 103K)

Finally somebody who gets it.

>, why would be write ASCE on himself on purpose?
To commemorate Sabo.

How does ASCE commemorate Sabo? Is Sabo's last name Asce or something?

>and cross over it so that he won't forget sabo,
You mean to honour Sabo.
> ending up with a tattoo that makes zero sense either way
How does it not make sense? Are you legitimately autistic? Do you have trouble understanding human connection?

Attached: Adult_Sabo.png (655x743, 348K)

Oda confirmed it commemorates Sabo. Stop with the headcanon.

S stands for Spade pirates

the ASL crew

See

because S is the first letter in Sabo

That’s Sabo’s flag

Tell me how it makes sense. ASCE doesn't mean anything. It doesn't commemorate Sabo and it's also not Ace's name. It makes no sense so put the S there

see

T-this isn't foreshadowing the hack is just r-reaching...

>posting something that was made after Ace was already introduced
This is the so called "fake foreshadow" which was explained in bakuman, it still improves the story just like regular foreshadowing but isnt as impressive from the side of the creator

As someone with hundreds of tattoos, that he misspelled his name (because Japanese loan words are romanized differently than they are actually spelled in English) and crossed out his mistake makes far more sense than that it was some bizarre tribute that isn't even a tribute. He tattooed his own name on himself, that inherently implies he's an idiot.

While it's probably true that Oda thought up Sabo's name to make sure it started with "S", it's obvious the original joke was a spelling error.

>Ace's tattoo doesn't have the S
never noticed that before

>yeah, Sabo was definitely planned out all the way since Alabasta
>it definitely wasn't just a quick asspull to make this fujobait faggot look less retarded

lol

Why is it relevant then?

>It's another prison chapter.

Kill me.

Literally no said that you schizo. Get fucked.

It represents Sabo. In the what-if coverart Oda drew about with all three brothers being alive Ace doesn't have the tattoo

In real life yes but this is a story where things actually tie together poetically for a nice development.

There aren't devil fruits in real life either user

Nice anecdotal evidence

So if I take a tattoo that says FAGGOT and my mom's name is Sarah and I add S there so that it says FAGGOTS, I'm commemorating my mother?

It doesn't because it makes no sense to cut your name in half and put S in the middle

>the crossed out S on Ace's tattoo was ALWAYS supposed to stand for Sabo!
>but that doesn't mean I think Oda always had Sabo planned out

Fujos might be the only demographic dumber than furries, lmao

But it was drawn later than the tattoo.

That's what everybody fucking implies when the ASCE tattoo, which was shown first in Alabasta, had the S actually stand for Sabo you fucking brainlet

>Ace died thinking Sabo is dead
bros...

Attached: 1500781389213.jpg (619x453, 27K)

>This is the so called "fake foreshadow"
Literally all foreshadowing is "fake foreshadowing" depending on the way you spin it. It makes sense in-story and canon so it's good foreshadowing to most people.

user weather sabo was planned or not the in canon reason Ace has the S in his name is to commemorate sabo

You're right, it wasn't relevant to the overall point which had nothing to do with the anecdote and is just based on common sense. The anecdote was merely to say that the notion that he misspelled his name and crossed it out is not weird to people who like and have tattoos.

Show me proof that Oda said it. Though even if he did, it would just mean that he's obviously retconning stuff

Reaching. Stay salty.

Nobody is debating that if Oda claimed it, the argument is not whether or not the S now means Sabo. It's whether or not the S foreshadowed Sabo. It obviously didn't and everyone with a brain understands it but kids just can't seem to grasp that retcons exist and instead interpret every retcon as 4D foreshadowing.

Oda a hack
the amnesia was a cheap excuse

>Brook being related to Laboon is a retcon too!
Stay seething hackposters. Based Oda flexes on you nerds daily.

I don't have to make you understand basic social stuff user since it's already backed up in the main story. Enjoy being a sperg and flipping out everytime anybody suggests that Sabo was pre-planned tho.

>F-fujos
Take your meds

There is zero evidence of retcon. Cope!

Zoro's teacher being from Wano despite shilling nip culture hundreds of chapters before Wano was even introduced? Obviously a retcon too!

right here you can see a sabo that never "died" ace's tat is spelled differently, this is a drawing by oda
that's the impression i'm getting from the user I was replying to

If getting a dumb tattoo that makes zero sense is basic social stuff then I'm glad I don't understand it

Sabo wasn't planned. Oda came up with the third brother only during ID/Marineford. He already knew he will kill Ace, but suddenly he decided he will introduce another older brother and then came up with the sake cups, childhood flashback and third brother will return later after an amnesia idea.

But that's not a canon image, unless he went to see a guy who ate tattoo erasing fruit and made a new tattoo

That's not even kinda the same thing you dummy. We knew some character was related to Laboon and Oda knew he was going to introduce that character to us in the future. He chose to make it Brook. We have early sketches of Brook that suggest it was probably even always the intention to have a skeleton be the guy Laboon was waiting for (since the span of time makes that the best option).

The claimed foreshadowing of Sabo is a joke that was nothing more than that for us or Oda for a decade until he retconned it to tie into a new development (which he honestly may have even done accidentally because a fan sent him a theory he liked).

>unironically thinks that Sabo was planned out from day 1

Why are women so stupid

Now that I think about it Noland reaching Dressrosa and saving the Tontatta's was big retcon too. What a fucking hack.

Nowhere in the sketches is it even remotely suggested that Brook would have anything to do with Laboon. Same shit. Stop reaching.

Did Noland have a tattoo where he added T in the middle of his name to remember tontattas?

>We knew some character was related to Laboon and Oda knew he was going to introduce that character to us in the future.
Proof?

I think even the emnesia wasn't planned. Just the childhodd flashback, and originally Sabo was planned to dead at his youth. But since peaople started to love him, Oda decided he will bring him back somehow.

it's not, but it is a what if image that implys if sabo hadn't but CDed Ace would't have put the s in his tattoo

Then Oda managed to make Ace look even dumber than he already looked with the original meaning of the tattoo. Fucking ASCE

Blackbeard having two devilfruits? What a fuckin retcon. H-A-C-K

Oda wasn't even any good with his retcons on Zoro, he explicitly had Zoro using Haki that he learned from his teacher way back in Alabasta (before Oda even realized Haki was a core skill for the later arcs) but never even retconned it so that he was officially using Haki and instead pretends he only learned it from Mihawk. Oda really dropped the ball with that stuff. Now he'll probably retcon it again so Zoro was using Haki at age 10.

...

Why did Jesus come back to life? I thought people die when they’re killed. Fucking retcon. The author is a hack.

I can see Blackbeard pulling that shit, thinking he has a sick combo. Takes more damage from the yami, gets a fruit to just heal it off. Unfortunately, he’s kind of a bitch and Marco’s fruit doesn’t take away the pain. So he’s in a constant cycle of getting really hurt and healing it off, which isn’t exactly a good place to be when someone like Luffy is coming for you.

Name one positive thing Sabo added to what was once just Ace and Luffy's relationship

I feel like you guys are pretending to be retarded. Oda gave Laboon a story with the explicit promise the Straw Hats would return and he made it clear he was waiting for someone to come back. Obviously Oda was going to have us learn what happened to the guy he was waiting for. I am not saying Brook existed as a character because obviously he didn't but I wouldn't be surprised if Oda already thought back then it would be the skeleton character in his sketches who he clearly expected to show up earlier in the manga. The point is Laboon foreshadowed a character and Oda later created a character to fit that foreshadowing. That is not even remotely comparable to Oda created a tattoo but really he always knew it was a reference to Luffy's dead brother that was actually alive and had amnesia.

>he explicitly had Zoro using Haki that he learned from his teacher way back in Alabasta
basic haki. Haki in the pre-timeskip was enough to cut Kuma's pacifista body but not enough to slice him open.

> (before Oda even realized Haki was a core skill for the later arcs)
Haki was always going to be important.

>but never even retconned it so that he was officially using Haki and instead pretends he only learned it from Mihawk.
he learned armament haki from mihawk.

Headcanon and reach as soon as you typed Brook.

>The point is Laboon foreshadowed a character and Oda later created a character
Yeah no. It didn't have to be a living character let alone someone who became a Strawhat. Oda very well could have had a descendant or an associate of the Rumbar pirates.

>That is not even remotely comparable to Oda created a tattoo but really he always knew it was a reference to Luffy's dead brother that was actually alive and had amnesia.
Where is your proof?

Ambition/Spirit was always going to be important but Haki as the magical power we know was not thought up by Oda until much later and he's still making it up as he goes even now. It's obvious he implemented it badly. He could have made the early manga make way more sense by just acknowledging those early power-ups were Haki when we could all see they were but instead he decided nobody was actually using Haki and they all learned it over the timeskip.

If the S had major relevance. Oda would've pointed it out by now. All those types of moments are highlighted in One Piece with callback panels or something similar.

Undead skeleton in the middle of the sea is obviously related to that whale from three hundre chapters ago. I knew it all along.
>Crossed S is to commemorate Sabo
Bullshit!!!

We're never going to see Law vs. Hawkins, are we? Oda will offpanel them.

Read slower

I'm going to let you off as mentally damaged because you jumped into a conversation you didn't understand. I am pointing out the flaw in the logic of those who don't understand what foreshadowing is, not saying Oda had everything planned all along. Brook was foreshadowed In Reverse Mountain, Sabo was retconned in Alabasta.

The specifics are irrelevant, one is resolving an open plot thread and the other is inventing an open plot thread that was already closed to squeeze something new in.

>Ambition/Spirit was always going to be important but Haki as the magical power we know was not thought up by Oda until much later

Amazon Lily was the formal introduction of haki in the series. We had numerous hints before that.

Conquerors:
>shanks in ch1
>shanks meeting whitebeard
>luffy using it against motobaro in sabaody

Armament:
>Smoker shitting himself at the prospect of fighting Dragon
>luffy grabbing crocodile for the first time in alabasta
>garp punching luffy after enies lobby
>sentomaru in sabaody
>reyleigh vs borsalino

Observation:
>zoro vs mr one in alabasta
>mantra in skypea
>BB literally namedrops haki in jaya.

> but instead he decided nobody was actually using Haki and they all learned it over the timeskip.
They learned how to use it consistently over the timeskip.

How was Ace’s tattoo a “closed” plot thread? Explain without using headcanon.

>The specifics are irrelevant,
Why?
>one is resolving an open plot thread
In one of several ways. You said
>We knew some character was related to Laboon and Oda knew he was going to introduce that character to us in the future.
Which you've yet to provide proof for

>and the other is inventing an open plot thread that was already closed to squeeze something new in.
How do you know exactly what the S was meant to represent?

Because it always made sense, there was nothing unresolved about it. If you know English and Japanese, there was never a question of what the tattoo meant. Oda never even drew attention to it in any way so it's still entirely possible to read One Piece and never notice that some conspiracy theorists think the S stands for Sabo.

It was always crossbones there too, not an "'x"

>Because it always made sense
So you admit it's headcanon. Nice.

>It's another prison chapter.
Calling it now: no yakuza bosses, and Luffy still won't have mastered Ryuuou.

It made no sense actually. That’s why it was funny. Now it makes actually makes sense.

Nice catch I skipped right over that.

No, Oda explicitly fucked up Haki. I get the point you are trying to make and you are theoretically right but you are arguing my point for me. You are saying the same thing as me, that the Haki was there all along and Oda simply had to acknowledge that stuff he made up in the past was now this new magic power of Haki but he didn't. He instead decided that they weren't using Haki but that everyone learned it over the timeskip. That's how you get massive plotholes like Marineford or CP9. All those characters who should have had Haki, didn't and characters that clearly did have it (Zoro) also didn't.

>Sabo wasn't planned
Yes he was

I don't know what third world language you normally speak but again, to people who know English and Japanese, it ALWAYS made sense. NOBODY was looking at Ace back before Sabo was created and thinking the S was a reference to some secret character we never heard of.

He's a psycho and clearly has a different end goal than either Luffy or Ace did

>That's how you get massive plotholes like Marineford or CP9
The only weird part is CP9 and that can be headcanoned away by saying they were building up their body first to not make them too reliant on their haki. Everybody who was a big shot in MF was using haki and all the Marines from the vice-admirals up have been confirmed to use it.

All these niggas arguing about the meaning of Ace's tattoo, and nobody even thinks to ask how it's even possible to tattoo a Logia.

Everything was planned. You literally can’t prove me wrong, which is what makes this so funny. It doesn’t matter if Oda made it up later, you literally can’t prove he did. That’s good continuity in writing.

They were just brainlets that couldn’t see Oda’s foreshadowing, much like yourself. Stay mad.

SPOILERS WHEN
AAAAAAAAA

>trust me bro I speak japanese so take my word for everything!
No proof you speak nip as this is a anonymous online mongolian fishing forum and I don't give a shit.

Fair enough, I'll slow it down for you. Your retarded point (or whoever you are defending here ) is that Brook being related to Laboon is a retcon because Sabo being related to Ace's tattoo is a retcon. The point is Laboon's story was to set-up a character or a story about what happened to a character, it is totally possible I suppose that Oda never had any intention of showing us that character but that would be an abandoned plot point, we would always know he set something up and forgot about it. If Sabo was never created, there would be no abandoned plot point visible to the reader because nothing was ever foreshadowed.

>and nobody even thinks to ask how it's even possible to tattoo a Logia.
Come on you cant speedread that fast

He got the tattoo before his fruit, retard

14 hours

Ace’s tattoo was set up to introduce Sabo. If you couldn’t see this, you’re a brainlet.

>You are saying the same thing as me, that the Haki was there all along and Oda simply had to acknowledge that stuff he made up in the past was now this new magic power of Haki but he didn't
If you're talking about mantra, it was always haki. BB mentions haki on Jaya.

With Rokushiki it's a different set of abilities that clearly easier to learn than haki but having both is complimentary. It's not a coincidence that Garp gets a formal introduction in the same arc with several Six Powers masters.

And with Zoro vs Mr. 1 I'm positive that was also a haki foreshadow since the very next arc, Jaya, has Blackbeard state haki by name. So Oda was thinking about it.

For your sake, I hope you are just pretending to believe this.

>because nothing was ever foreshadowed
Apart from this and the already existent S in Ace's tattoo :)

>Sabo saw Luffy
>didn't recognize him
BS.

goddddddaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Yes, Oda was thinking about these powers in ambiguous terms but no, it's obvious to everyone that he wasn't realizing just how universal these powers would end up being. It's clear he genuinely believed he would just keep being creative and coming up with new powers for characters and it was only due to power creep that he suddenly had to give every character every power.

It took a traumatic event for him to regain his memories.

That's clearly not Sabo, unless you think he only gained his bounty in the 2 year timeskip.

Luffy also whacks Mr. 3 in Little Garden using “instinct” to determine which copy was the real thing

What contradictions?

Luffy about to be beheaded isn't traumatic enough?

Why are you choosing to read the manga incorrectly? No, Ace is not genuinely stupid enough to spell his three letter name wrong. It’s a clever double entendres.

He knew Dragon was going to save him. He didn't bother asking who Luffy was to warrant that, though.

>that he wasn't realizing just how universal these powers would end up being.
Except haki was used by a variety of different characters

Conquerors
>shanks in ch1
>shanks meeting whitebeard

Armament:
>Smoker shitting himself at the prospect of fighting Dragon
>luffy grabbing crocodile for the first time in alabasta
>garp punching luffy after enies lobby

Observation:
>zoro vs mr one in alabasta
>mantra in skypea

See, this level of stupidity is at least funny. But again, this is just a fundamental misunderstanding of what foreshadowing is as a concept. In a best case scenario, Oda decided Dragon's chief of staff would be designed to look like one of the characters who was in Loguetown at the same time as him and flipped through the old volumes to pick that one. But that is not foreshadowing. That is taking a random thing from the past that originally had no special meaning and giving it special meaning later (a retcon if you will). It is impossible to see those panels at the time in 1999 and claim they were foreshadowing a character in them was going to be Luffy's brother or a revolutionary.

it is a dumb as fuck theory. if he was there then his amnesia should ended there some way he suddenly started to remember when he saw Ace's face and was told he was executed

It's called reverse foreshadowing, fucking idiot.

>these characters based on a time period when literacy was rare can't possibly try to spell things phonetically!

>Literally all foreshadowing is "fake foreshadowing" depending on the way you spin it
what?
Foreshadowing is when an author adds an element to a story to clue the reader that there is the realistic possibility of something happening
Fake-Foreshadowing is when the author adds the element to the story based on a previous detail which he only now decided to expand upon as if it were planned all along

most of those are retcons, if he had a solid idea for haki we would've seen it way sooner like cp9 would've had armament instead of tekkai

The whole amnesia thing is fucking stupid and my least favorite thing post-TS

>unless you think he only gained his bounty in the 2 year timeskip.
Yes.

But it gave us cute O-Lin.

And yet not a single person so far is unable to read the newspapers.

>(a retcon if you will)
No, I will not.
>Retroactive continuity, or retcon for short, is a literary device in which established facts in a fictional work are adjusted, ignored, or contradicted by a subsequently published work which breaks continuity with the former.
There was no break in the continuity. No established facts were changed or ignored.

Is Ace one of those people? Is there a source on that?

he needed to come up with amnesia otherwise it would be stupid why Sabo started to heading to Marineford to save Ace.
we can say they had the promis they let eachother live their own life as a pirate, so it is an acceptable reason why he didn't made any conact with his brothers, but a little bit still dumb, because in that case he would let hs brothers belive he died long ago.
so amnesia was the only solution to fit Sabo in the story without creating plothole

>most of those are retcons
No.
>if he had a solid idea for haki we would've seen it way sooner like cp9 would've had armament instead of tekkai
Armament haki is useless by itself unless you have the strength to go with it.

Why are you asking when you already know the answer?

While I kinda agree, Jinbei has had 2 arcs where he interected with the crew, and time for Oda to figure out the dynamics he'd had with the rest. And IMO he has proven he fits. I'm talking specially as the gags, which are important in One Piece.
As for Carrot, I know here people troll all the time about her, but she fits as well, the problem is that she hasn't interacted with all of them. And the other thing, she is in Wano, but so far she hasn't done anything. Seems like Oda forgot about her. So it's looking bad for her. Jinbei, on the other hand, it's pretty clear that Oda is saving him for an epic return at the end.

That’s why it bothers me. There was literally no other way to shove this nothing of a character in the story without a very, very dumb amnesia excuse. It also makes Robin look like a dumbass. And just about anyone else who pays attention to current events, like Nami should

Before "lol amnesia", I thought Sabo was just on a really important mission somewhere and had no time to read newspapers. And when he finally read one, it was too late.

I don't know why you are having so much trouble understanding this. Have you really never written a story before, do you not understand how to write? All those things were at the time novel new powers that hadn't been explained and were exclusive to characters. It was later that it was revealed everyone has them and they are all actually the same power. The point is, it's inconsistent and nonsensical at many points in retrospect. Just as Haki can be said to be what Shanks used in Chapter 1, it can also be said to make everything else he did in Chapter 1 a plothole because he didn't use Haki for those things. Just as Haki was hinted at in many old arcs, it is also made completely nonsensical by all those characters from those arcs now being revealed to have learned Haki in between then and now, rather than having always known it and we just didn't see it.

Where are people getting the idea that Ace can’t read?

Foreshadowing per its official definition
"Foreshadowing is an advance sign or warning of what is to come in the future."

>Fake-Foreshadowing
There is no such thing as fake-foreshadowing. It does not exist.

>shanks in ch1

This is still stupid. CoC just straight up knocks people and animals out unless you have good control over it. So if he had such mastery that he could make the Sea King run away, why wouldn't he just immediately knock it out from where he was, instead of running in and getting his arm bitten off THEN using CoC in an extremely precise manner?

That example would be a retcon because it would require Sabo to have known about Luffy before he then learned about Luffy. Thus changing continuity.

>All those things were at the time novel new powers that hadn't been explained and were exclusive to characters.
Proof? If that's true why do we have examples of vastly different characters using it?

Not my point. Sabo being at Logue Town is not even close to an established fact, so it doesn’t concern me.

That's a whole separate issue but as we know Conquerors haki was foreshadowed in the first chapter.

>It also makes Robin look like a dumbass
Can you explain? Even if she had conversation with Dragon about his son, Dragon doesn't loom the type of person who will stand up on stage with Luffy's wanted poster in his hand and shouting out proudly: THIS IS MY SON, THIS WOMAN IS HER NAKAMA! LET'S LISTEN TO HER, SHE WILL TELL SOME STORY ABOUT MY SON! KAMPAI!
So even if Robin spoke about Luffy to his father, Dragon kept it himself, he never told anything to Sabo, so why is it stupid Robin sent 2 yeras with Revs and never spoke about his captain to Sabo or anyone else?

So why do people get so butthurt about Oda's foreshadowing?

Sabo got over his amnesia when he read Ace died. By the time Robin met him, he had already remembered Luffy.

holy shit you're still going?

>why didn't luffy hit bellamy before being beated?
because its a fucking manga stop using common sense which you doesn't have

b-b-but user here's a meme photo from bakuman so obviously foreshadowing doesn't exist at all

>Robin: I know your son
>Dragon: What? Who?
>Robin: Luffy
>Dragon: Gesundheit

No, fool. Robin never telling Luffy a damn thing. She met Sabo after his memories had returned. And she didn’t say shit to Luffy, despite knowing full well how much Ace’s death destroyed him. People always use the excuse of “Sabo told her to be quiet about it”, but that further lends to her being a non-character since the TS. And yet another justification for the stupid amnesia twist in an already overloaded arc

Would it motivate the guy you bet on?
>Listen Luffy, I saved you, take this hat and become stronger, then meet again someday?

Probably that brat would forget it.
But if you show him he caused you a permanent damage by priorison him over your own hand it remains in his head and won't forget easily.

I'd let her strum my strings if you catch my meaning.

Again, you are fundamentally incapable of understanding what foreshadowing is. We retroactively can see what Shanks did as Haki but it didn't foreshadow Haki. Staring down a wild beast who then leaves is something real people do in OUR world, there was no implication this was a magical power only elite people in the One Piece world have and it was going to be super important later.

I love the dumb twangy shit that comes from these, and it sounds like Wano is going to be full of it.

>And she didn’t say shit to Luffy,
offscreen stuff
just like what happened with zoro and mihawk was going to be explained and wops , offscreen stuff

You know, the problem seems to be that a lot of people don’t really know what foreshadowing or retcons actually are. They just use them in arguments to sound smart.

They had no time to talk about Sabo. Right after they met, they went to FI, got seperated, then went to PH, got in trouble again, then arrived to Dressrosa and then Luffy suddenly already met his brother. Robin did not had to have a friendly conversation with Luffy about Timeskip, because tehre was no time for it.

Oda fucked it up. Even if it was really obvious she and Hiyori is the same person, it would be a bit more interesting if her hair wold be different color when it is made Komurasaki-style then when she wears them as Hiyori.

>Again, you are fundamentally incapable of understanding what foreshadowing is.
Lol sure thing
>We retroactively can see what Shanks did as Haki but it didn't foreshadow Haki.
"He used haki but it didn"t foreshadow haki"
> Staring down a wild beast who then leaves is something real people do in OUR world,
The seaking ran away terrified
>there was no implication this was a magical power only elite people in the One Piece world have and it was going to be super important later.
But it is and it was established in the first chapter of the series so whatever you have to say on the subject is irrelevant

>the only way to motivate children is to permanently mutilate yourself

dilate

Calling Ace’s tattoo foreshadowing is giving Oda a lot of credit (probably too much), but it commemorating Sabo is in no way shape or form a retcon.

It's literally the definition of retcon

Then that 10th member is always gonna seem like an "extra"

Does it go against established fact?

People think asspulls or retcons are the worst thing about a series because they can barely think coherently and judge the actual writing.

According to jeremy Horikoshi using strength as a metaphor for Deku receiving seven different quirks is good foreshadowing but characters actually using haki aren't.

Yes

Attached: KH.jpg (1200x1143, 369K)

I feel like people give him too much credit in terms of overall planning. I think Oda’s talent lies in his ability to create a cohesive lore and reward long term readers rather than him having a plan for everything. Sanji’s expanded backstory is a good example. He wouldn’t have gone through with something like that if he didn’t feel like he could make it make sense for the character and the overall story if he added it. An offhand comment about being from North Blue doesn’t suggest anything related to Germa other than their geographic location. Oda adds little details, comments, and shit all the time and the apes scratch their heads wondering WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN when it doesn’t mean shit 99% of the time.

I would say the polar opposite is Kishimoto who just piles more shit on top of the story regardless of how badly it fucks it up

Well to use an easy example, because you aren't too bright. Let's look at Logia. Your idea is that because someone must be able to touch them, surely Oda knew all along he was going to invent Haki as a way for Luffy to touch them. Smoker was shitting his pants at Dragon, "that's because Dragon was going to punch him with Haki!" No. Dragon is a Wind Logia if not something even stronger so he could have defeated Smoker without Haki. But, as an even more obvious example, Crocodile's entire character arc was he picked Alabasta and ruined it as a country because it was the one place he could eliminate the only way to ever touch him, despite the fact if Haki was already thought through, Oda and Crocodile would both have known this was a waste of time since anyone with Haki could touch Crocodile. Hell, Akainu being able to kill Ace was explained as his element being stronger which means even in Marineford Oda still hadn't realized how Haki works with Logia.

And the og crew was only together for like a year in-universe. Brook has been with us for a long time, as readers

There's no reason to hide the fucking obvious. He introduced her the same chapter where Momonosuke mentions his little sister for the first time retard.

How?

What are the established facts about Ace’s tattoo that were contradicted? Hint: there are none

WTF why is the color different Oda is a HACK

Attached: 1500825787534.jpg (747x214, 110K)

It surprised me, but then I am Spee D. Reader

Holy SHIT one of them is Toki

The tattoo's meaning was 100% obvious to everyone, including Oda. And it was not "Ace wanted to remember his bro so he tattooed ASCE on his arm lmao"

>shanks in ch1
retcon
>shanks meeting whitebeard
Probably not a retcon but its cool to think that this was supposed to be a shanks-only ability
>Smoker shitting himself
never happened
>luffy grabbing crocodile for the first time in alabasta
water
>zoro vs mr one in alabasta
Oda still doesnt even know how to fucking retcon this, for it to make sense
it was a fucking gag

What was meaning? Explain to us brainlets.

I swear you teenagers only get so butthurt because you take every common sense statement about the writing of this manga as a personal attack or something. Chapter 1 is not worse because it didn't foreshadow Haki, it is actually better because then there were no plotholes at the time of its creation.

Ace can't write because her mother kept her in her womb for two years or whatever, causing him brain damage

Haki lets you hit a Logia. Burning through his chest doesn't do anything with haki.

>>luffy grabbing crocodile for the first time in alabasta
>water
Yes, but did yo not notice Crocodile's reaction?
He tought Luffy was able to hit him with haki and was wondering how does that kid know about it. He noticed the water later.

>Dragon is a Wind Logia
FUCK OFF
CEASER ARLEADY HAS A BETTER FRUIT, HE CAN MANIPULATE EVERY GAS NOT JUST AIR
HOLY FUCK HOW IS THIS MEME STILL ALIVE, DRAGON DOESNT HAVE WIND LOGIA, IT MAKES NO SENSE

Attached: 1517703113075.png (147x479, 38K)

>hit him
I mean grab him.

>Well to use an easy example, because you aren't too bright.
You're a literal mouthbreathing retard and I'm done with you.

>Smoker was shitting his pants at Dragon, "that's because Dragon was going to punch him with Haki!" No.Dragon is a Wind Logia if not something even stronger so he could have defeated Smoker without Haki
Headcanon unless we see what Dragon's power actually is to the point it terrified a logia.

>Crocodile's entire character arc was he picked Alabasta and ruined it as a country because it was the one place he could eliminate the only way to ever touch him
You mean apart from trying to take over Pluton the ancient weapon and become king?

>Hell, Akainu being able to kill Ace was explained as his element being stronger which means even in Marineford Oda still hadn't realized how Haki works with Logia.
Or it also means haki isn't the endbeall you absolute idiot and that Oda was attempting to bring more of a dynamic to OP fights.

The entire thread you've been getting into semantics about foreshadowing is and decrying every legitimate piece of foreshadowing a retcon.

Oda had the entire series mapped out in a five year plan that he later expanded over time. He has notebooks full of details for even minor things. His strong suits as a writer are foreshadowing and planning ahead.

Mr. Prince and Mr. Bushido are the names of chapters during the Alabasta saga. Oda didn’t “go back and look for an obscure line, and turn it into something that looked like foreshadowing, he had specific ideas about his characters which formed quickly before, during, and after their creation.

Sure he pulls some stuff out of his ass but to a much smaller extent then other writers.

Sounds like bullshit, but okay.

In a world where Oda knows what Haki is, Akainu killed Ace with Haki because that nullifies Logia. But because Oda didn't know that yet, he instead had Akainu kill Ace by his Logia being so powerful it overpowered another Logia so that we could have the classic "magma is hotter than fire". One of the most retarded moments in all of One Piece and it could have been avoided if Oda just understood how Haki worked back then.

Was this blood or haki?

Attached: 0787-008.jpg (977x1465, 552K)

Not very clear. Could be either.

>water
Crocodile had a brief moment of worry about whether it was water or haki, that's why he smiled later when he realized it was just water.

If it's only water he could just wait until Luffy did something stupid like attack him with the barrel itself, then Luffy has no way to hit him again. If it was haki Luffy could beat him endlessly.

Attached: 1551519747494.png (802x269, 218K)

He is able to create wind and also transform into it. It's possible it's just a Paramecia but that seems unlikely.

>implying Hiyori = Komurasaki

Attached: 1551522359822.jpg (709x994, 217K)

Nice meme

Luffy used advanced observation haki back in Marineford.

Attached: One Piece - Chapter 561 - 5.jpg (1066x1600, 414K)

Okay I'm convinced.

>Mihawk talks about how calm he is
>Katakuri reiterates you need to be calm for CoO to work
>some people STILL don't understand this

But if Oda knew what Haki was, then Luffy would have beaten Crocodile later with Haki. Their last fight was literally Luffy beating him with pure ambition, the idea that it was his blood and not Haki is beyond ridiculous in retrospect. Oda clearly didn't know Haki was a thing yet. Again, even in Marineford Luffy punches Crocodile with water. This again shows Oda hadn't thought this through because in a world with Haki, Crocodile didn't have an edge on anybody at Marineford but because Oda didn't know what Haki was yet, Crocodile still only feared water.

GODA

>Luffy doesn't know haki, therefore Oda hadn't invented it yet despite showing Zoro, Garp, Sentoumaru, Rayleigh, Marguerite and the Boa sisters using it

How does someone this stupid manage to read?

Attached: buggy_laughing.png (946x882, 589K)

Crocodile didn't know Haki, I don't give a fuck about Luffy. The thing you dumbasses refuse to understand is that Haki was originally a billion different random skills that have slowly solidified and been revealed to all be the same thing. The fact that Enel can predict things does not mean being able to touch Logias and make enemies pass out with a thought was predicted. Haki is so much more than being able to touch Logia. Back in Marineford Haki was used by name but still didn't include the ability to touch Logia.

>Back in Marineford Haki was used by name but still didn't include the ability to touch Logia
lol

Attached: mf.jpg (750x737, 232K)

>Haki because that nullifies Logia
nope, haki does not nullify DF power

> The fact that Enel can predict things does not mean being able to touch Logias and make enemies pass out with a thought was predicted.
No but both Zoro and Aisa referring to "voices" is a pretty strong indication of there being a connection. Of course you don't even remember what I'm referring to or you would know better than argue the abilities were separate.

Luffy used haki and couldn't hit Katakuri for a while either. Says who this isn't a similar technique?

>let's just stab aokiji without haki for no reason lmao
what a demented old man

But Luffy didn't know what haki is.

>Says who this isn't a similar technique?
... nobody? in fact, these few panels were referenced a lot back when katakuri first explained how he manages to avoid incoming attacks thanks to his fruit

You can obviously see that he's unharmed so the haki didn't touch him, of course it didn't. Logias were untouchable before the retcon.

Why didn't he use the quake powers combined with haki in that moment?

Because Whitebeard is a jobber and so is his crew

That's just regular observation haki, exactly like mantra on Skypiea.
Advanced gives you full on future sight regarding everything around you, not just people/their intentions/etc.

>Haki was used by name but still didn't include the ability to touch Logia.
Akainu cut by Haki-inbued swords tought different.

>One of the most retarded moments in all of One Piece and it could have been avoided if Oda just understood how Haki worked back then
Devil fruit superiority was a real thing before that. I don't think you understand how devil fruits work. Akainus fruit would burn Ace with or without haki just like how Enel wouldn't be able to hurt Luffy with electric haki.

Attached: 0158-019.jpg (780x1200, 199K)

He did. Aokiji just dodged like Katakuri. Same goes for Akainu against Marco and Vista.

>Logias were untouchable before the retcon
and they still are, as long as the logia user's reflexes are developed enough to avoid incoming attacks

He was dying. He tried to use haki to save Ace but wasn't able, he got a little heart attack.

i think we're done here: another example during marineford of a logia user avoiding armament attacks thanks to their fruit

>So the guy getting arrested was a shitpost?
no, they did really get arrested. that's why spoilers day has been slowly shifting to thursday nowdays

>Back in Marineford Haki was used by name but still didn't include the ability to touch Logia.
Jozu punched Crocodile just fine.

>Back in Marineford Haki was used by name but still didn't include the ability to touch Logia.
Then how did Jozu hit Crocodile?

He probably spit on his hand first.

That's because he was wet.

I wonder what the sentence is for leaking manga to gaijin.

all the whitebeard pirates are always wet for pops

Last week was early release; this week is normal release. We're not getting spoilers until tomorrow.

>Akainu was Katakuri level pre-ts
Is he yonkou tier now or just short?

How do you fight against a logia user like Akainu without getting fucked up in the process? Haki doesn't block heat so it won't save you from getting burned as seen when Jinbei caught Akainu's fist.

And if you reread the WB vs Akainu fight you'd notice that WB creates a little bubble when he uses his fruit so he never actually touches Akainu either.

He was always Yonko tier. Oda said he could find One Piece within a year if he was so inclined.

i remember reading that they don't treat that shit lightly: not that like authors and shit aren't aware of it. there's a reason why we always get the first page of the newest chapter from one piece's official site on friday, regardless of scans or not

These moments explicitly prove Haki doesn't allow you to touch Logia. They mention Haki but Haki did nothing, so Oda genuinely didn't understand it. We already knew non-Haki attacks went through Logia and all this showed is Haki attacks also go through them. In retrospect it was explained by Katakuri's power but then the Admirals should have been never been touched. These scenes prove that even with the strongest Haki, you could never touch Enel.

Dude stop getting embarassed. Marco touched aokiji and jozu touched crocodile just fine. Stop posting please

12 hours locked in a broom closet with a trio of futa loli nekomimis, to encourage criminals to turn themselves in

Akainu relies too much on his devil fruit to be Yonko level, and Shanks can completely block it with projected haki.
Akainu was slower than Ace.

You get flow/ryuuou haki so your punches pierce him without actual contact taking place

Voices and mantra are both now classified as Observation, neither of which are what I mentioned (Armament and Conquerors). Nice try though. Bet you'll look clever next time.

He could maim Blackbeard before losing, at best.

forcefield haki, propably what shanks used to block akainus fist

The answer to that is ryuo, which is what Luffy is learning right now and creates an "armor" around his body. It can also be used offensively to internally damage enemies, which is what he's having trouble learning. Look at the anime new opening and watch the fight between Kaido and Luffy.
>inb4 not canon
It's not canon, that's correct. I'm telling you to watch Luffy coming out of Kaido's fire breath with a red aura just to give you the general idea of how it's supposed to work.

Enjoy your headcanon.

Yep, that's why Blackbeard shat himself and ran away from Akainu, because he thought he could win.

Zoro heard voices just before cutting Mr. 1
Explain how the two were not connected

yeah bro rayleigh kicking kizaru is headcanon as well right

>shat himself
Blackbeard is Luffy's opposite, he only does things when they fit into his plan, if something isn't going according to plan or doesn't advance his plan in some way then he runs away.

If that were true the crime rate would skyrocket, in fact society would break down because people would be faking crimes instead of being productive.

That was seastone sandles he stole from Waipa's bazooka

Most shonen mangakas dont know that just because you can live after grenade explodes in your face doesnt mean a high powered laser beam can melt a hole through you. They think all durability is the same so kinetic durability is the same as thermal durability thats why Sanji doesnt melt holes in people when he uses Diable Jambre.

Shanks projected a two-dimensional barrier over a wide plane which full stopped not only Akainu’s fist, but also all the splashing Magma in area of effect, which is what made the barrier visible.
Akainu could only hit cancer Whitebeard after he had a seizure. The other Yonko don’t appear to need life support equipment.

>yonko tier
Yonko is just a fucking title do you really think they're all equals strenghtwise ?
Akainu can probably 1v1 blackbeard but Kaido or Big mom are just on another level.

So since it's confimred through the colored version that shiki met crocus do you think he will appear in wano? Is this ultimate enemy oda said in some interviews? It's either him or weevil

Post groups/characters only you like or care about

Attached: ideo.png (764x1200, 553K)

It was never confirmed

I remember reading the "lurking legend" quote was actually referring to the future of the series in general rather than Wano specifically though

has literally the same color scheme like shiki. How is it not him?

>do you really think they're all equals strenghtwise ?
Roughly, yeah.

Is the colored manga overseen by Oda?

>Quake fully blocks Magma
>BB is Shanks tier in purist melee in canon.
Akainu’s clash with Ace showed that Ace was equivalent in melee but hard countered by Magma. If neither had a DF Ace wouldn’t be hurt in that first exchange. Akainu changed targets to Luffy for that reason.
Akainu would maim Blackbeard before dying, that’s why Blackbeard would rather not fight him, since Blackbeard has no scars.

Attached: 0632-001.jpg (760x1200, 176K)

no idea desu but i think it uses the official colors like in the volume covers

No steering wheel, hair is vastly different and he's being friendly with an old enemy

It's clearly someone from Wano; everything about them is japanese (sake, robe, straw hat) and they're chummy with Crocus. I don't think it's someone we've seen yet.

Good point but there's got to be a limit to that. Especially when your opponent is an experienced awakened fruit user who can attack you from any angle.

>Akainu was slower than Ace.
Not by much. Based on what we saw in Marineford is definitley the slowest admiral but he's the biggest tank and has a jaw of steel.

Attached: 1551489198584.jpg (575x256, 41K)

>since Blackbeard has no scars.
Three broken teeth dont count?

>lol

Attached: Not shiki.jpg (750x383, 74K)

Doesn't matter, unless they were told by Oda that it was Shiki then it's just their best guess.

Since chapter one has Luffy scar himself no they don’t (in my opinion). It’s only headcanon to say that Blackbeard fears being maimed by Magma though I admit, it just makes sense for his character to me.
Shanks told Whitebeard he’s strong as fuck and he hides his power level.

I just want to believe our aniki is in a better place, instead of having his colon tenderized by a pack of sweaty yakuza

Attached: kaido_crying.jpg (233x216, 14K)

Can anybody guess their names without looking it up? Hint it's Zoros old bountyhunter partners.

Attached: Chapter_624.png (1316x2070, 674K)

They don't randomly color characters. Some characters were introduced in the anime before their official color scheme was revealed through a volume and it was the same. It it shiki

brother, it's johnny and yosaku. come on

No it isn’t and it has had errors in the past posted on here since years ago and looks like trash compared to Oda’s own coloring. It’s a marketing campaign plain and simple and “official” just means it’s not a spin-off company and it’s colored by One Piece’s actual publishing company. It doesn’t mean Oda is doing it.
There are only a very few in canon color pages and they aren’t overseen by Oda either they are colored by him (no assistants allowed).
“canon” and “official” mean different things.

If the punishment for doing crime was being raped by a big dicked futa, would crime stop?

Like said, it would increase.

I agree. BB did say pain was the greatest thing the yami fruit sucked in and there's no way he'd survive a fight. Especially since Akainu proved that one or two hits with the tremor fruit wouldn't be enough to put him down unlike vice-versa.

BB fights similar to Luffy in that he basically gets his ass kicked in the beginning before he grits his teeth and rides it out until he's the only one standing. A perfect foil for Luffy's fighting style who mostly fights on outlasting his opponents as well.

Depends, are these actual futas like in my doujins, or the disgusting trannies we have running around IRL today?

Well?

Queen comes back and smashes Kiku's skull.

>Queen is in the chapter
I can die happy

Queen is in the chapter escorting Big Mom
Something with Kiku
Someone gets BTFO pretty hard

daily reminder if it can't get pregnant AND make pregnant its not a real futa, this is why trannies consider futa hatespeech

queen
big meme
skull fucked

Babanuki destroyed by luffy?

Good, I do fucking hate them for trying to encroach on my goddamn fetish. They're setting genetic research back by decades with their "all you have to do is change pronouns and you're automatically the other gender" horseshit.

doujin futas of course, trannies are gross.

so anons I had a thought, if zoro were holding another human being would he be able to use haki and swing them like a sword? what about if they ate the sword sword fruit, would he be able to use haki then, or would the sword have to use it's own haki? If zoro is strong enough (he is) can't he just grab anything around him and swing it at other things?

O-Kiku is going to face-fuck Luffy so hard his skull breaks? God, I wish that were me

Teach spent decades on WB's ship to gain a fruit which can counter other DFs instead of learning advanced haki.

>Napoleon wakes up and cuts Big Mom free
>Queen acts like hot shit in front of her
>Gets wrecked
or
>Queen being fat on a boat
>Smoothie smacks some skinny bitch talking smack
>Brook dies

big mom wakes up with her memories and starts rampaging, queen gets fucked properly this time

Big Mom wakes up and wrecks Queen

tits this big at 15

He most likely does know haki but you're misunderstanding what they both are.

Yami yami is still better than haki because it negates the power entirely. A haki user can grab a DF user, but the DF user can still use their powers.

A haki user grabs Whitebeard, they're still gonna get Quakepunched. A haki user grabs Akainu, they still need to be ready to block or evade the steel-melting magma that can shoot out of him at any time, they still gotta worry about being frozen solid by Akojiki, etc.

BB sidesteps all that entirely. being able to simply hit a DF user is nowhere near as good as being able to entirely negate their power.

Furries age faster than humans.

I can't wait to see BB develop his power into hammerspace, start pulling entire battleships out of his pocket in the middle of fights

Why does he have to wait till tmro?

Attached: One_Piece-v59-048.png (953x981, 439K)

I know that it’s been potentially setup this way since the drum arc, but I’d fucking hate it if another great thing came to fruition because of nippon stronk, nippon besto
The poneglyphs were made in wano, wano samurai are the best, wano craftsmen know how to work seastone, enough with the nihon circlejerk ffs

One Piece needs more thicc like this. Girls with large tits but no real ass to speak of are weird.

>queen
>smoothie
>someone getting skullfucked
also fuck man, i hate getting spoiled like this

Haki would harden her cock well beyond human limits wouldn't it? Imagine how that would feel.

RIP Queen

I want to start to watch One piece.
Will I miss anything if I don't read the manga?

STRAW HATS, MEET THE STRAW HATS
THEIR CAPTAIN IS MONKEY D. LUFFY
FROM THE GOA KINGDOM
HE ATE THE YABBA DABBA NO MI

Just wait until we get to Elbaf the Viking-jerk is going to be a lot worse considering Vicky the Viking gave him the inspiration to write a story about adventure as a kid in the first place.

Attached: ren2spc5j1l01.png (877x404, 299K)

You will miss the cover stories and stuff that got censored. Anime quality also drops significantly along the way.

Cover story arcs and actual quality.

Cover stories are very important and add to the story as a whole. Plus the anime is crap.

>Cum Soda

Alright I'll stick with the manga then. Currently at chapter 32. Thanks anons.

You've never drank carbonated jizz? Very high in protein.

Get the digitally colored version.

Read digital version

I won’t read the spoilers tonight!!!

Fuck no.

Queen gets rekted?

fucking Toei made it Teach hits WB

literally who?

I think one is called Ideo

yeah WB tried to quake him twice despite being told it doesn't work

Blue Gilly, Abdullah and Jeet. They formed a crew led by Ideo and are part of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet.

Does anyone know what the fuck happened to the bull by the way?

How will Oda handle Abdullah and Jeet after the immigrant crisis?

aren't they named after famous wrestlers?

Abdullah the Butcher and Tiger Jeet Singh

Kelly and Bobby Funk are also named/modeled after wrestlers

he didn't, second one there was only to take away Teach's focus from the bisento

Did Bellamy make the Grand Fleet flags for the "new" crews who weren't pirates before Dressrosa?

The Funks should have joined the martial arts pirates, at least they actually did things unlike Sulieman.

>he phoenix fruit is still there and most likely will be consumed by Blackbeard to juggle his darkness fruit disadvantages.
Yes yes, absolutely logical. It will be a turtle, or a sea otter. Or he won't have a zoan at all. You faggots will never guess Odas next big moves, give it up already

Attached: 1443590584369.png (563x795, 560K)

remember when they trapped luffy and law only for doffy the retard to save them?

probably

Ace is a better pyrokinetic than Marco meaning Marco's fruit is shit.

>doffy the retard to save them
WUT

Luffy's a forgive and forget kinda guy.

One of them had a cool Devil Fruit

what was stopping blackbeard from taking marco's fruit during the timeskip?

Marco can fly, regenerate, and heal others.

Which sucks

watch the anime, skip the filler and the arc of dressrosa and youll be fine

Marco has arguably the strongest fruit in the story. From we have seen the guy is basically unstoppable unless you have seastone. Imagine Big Mom with his fruit? It's fucking over.

Marco isn't a pyrokinetic at all. His flame can't even burn stuff.

You could literally read it twice in the 40 hours it would take to endure the anime's Dressrosa Arc alone and then have plenty of time over. I don't know why people even bother with the anime over the manga.

But how does he know what is filler?

>starts a bounty hunting game to get rid of SH alliance
>jumps to the rescue when someone actually manages to corner luffy and law
just doffy things

Attached: doffy to the rescue.png (827x1399, 1.05M)

You don't just fucking jump in somewhere, you read or watch it in its entirety or you don't. Why would you even bother starting otherwise

Oh and look for the colored scans

He doesn't have an infinite supply of blue flames, though. You can still wear him down in a battle of attrition.

>He doesn't have an infinite supply of blue flames
Nothing indicate he doesn't. The dude can heal from getting hit by hundred of laser beams instantly. His regeneration seems to be as good as Wolverine's.

But multiple logia users commented on how Haki can nullify their invulnerability in Marineford. Same with Luffy getting damaged by Garp in water 7 even Crocodile comments that Luffy might have haki when he starts damaging him in the final battle. Stop speedreading.

Read slower, in the same flashback, we saw dragon saving someone, Sabo was never suppose to be dead.

it bugged me too. when that happened Law was far beyond the point Doffy could get him at his side.

saving someone in the same chapter where an entire district was set on fire

>even Crocodile comments that Luffy might have haki when he starts damaging him in the final battle
I don't remember this happening.

The thing is, just because zoro and luffy uses haki pre time skip one or two time doesn’t mean they have full mastery of it. The training during the time skip is for them to fully master haki and uses it whenever instead of using it by accident like during pre timeskip. It is not like oda stated that none of the straw hat uses haki during pretime skip or something, it just look like they don’t know what it is and don’t have full mastery of it.

>Blackbeard offsets his weakness to physical attacks by eating a turtle zoan
GODA

Jesus christ what a terrible devil fruit.

This was after Luffy hit him for the first time. After he realized it was just water he started laughing at Luffy and used his DF to dry out his body.

Attached: Croc.png (472x242, 283K)

>no mention of haki

A author doesn't have to spell out everything in name for you when its implied heavily. Even before this fight you had people in east blue going to Zeff because he surely found a "way" to defeat those Devil Fruit users.

ビッグ・マム海賊団の帰還

nice

Sabo getting blow up happen in the morning while dragon deliver that person to be heal happen at night. Plus Dragon saving those people and transported them to his ship way before sabo decided to leave on his journey. So you are suggesting dragon save all those people from the fire then take his ship to zoro’s island then return to luffy’s island afterward by himself to save one other random who is extremely injure and that person is not sabo? It pretty obvious that dragon save sabo which is why he was injure.

Attached: luffy question mark.png (458x357, 227K)

Johnny and Yosaku. If you’ve read through the whole series it’s not that hard.

This is a really silly question if you grew up with this series and have still a passion for it after all those years.

It's like you never go outside you NEET.

One Piece Minks don't actually exist, retard.

Yes, but well-developed 15 year old human females do, ya donut.
