I've noticed that some anime can be legitimately educational, and within this group, some will draw people in with cute girls. Why don't we make a list of anime like that? It could be dubbed the Yea Forumscademy. I don't mean shows that'll just reference stuff to look cool, but will make a given subject a major focus, and thus base a lot of its episodes' stories, jokes, etc. around that subject. Here's my list to start:
Bakuon!! - Japanese Motorcycles (ft. Ducati) Comedic Psychosomatic Medicine - Psychology Dagashi Kashi - Japanese Candies Girls und Panzer - Tanks of WWII Initial D - JDM Cars of the 00s and Earlier Moyashimon - Microbiology Servant x Service - Public Sector Clerical Work Silver Spoon - Agriculture Spice & Wolf - Economics Upotte! - Post-WWII rifles and other firearms. Yuru Camp - Outdoor camping, hiking, etc.
I suppose I just like to learn. I also heard a rumor that Tejina-sempai actually teaches the audience how to do some basic magic tricks - is this so? I may give the anime a shot if I may actually learn somethin' like that.
Hanayamata - Yosakoi Dance New Game - Game Programmer Work Nourin - Agriculture Rail Wars! - Train-related Work Saki - Mahjong Ro-Kyu-Bu - Basketball Tenshi no 3p - Starting Music Band

Giant Bug Rape Island really feels like the author wanted to make an educational series about insects but the only way for it to get made was to add as much sex and gore as possible.
>Bakuon!! - Japanese Motorcycles (ft. Ducati) Besides the generous amount of ecchi you can learn a couple of things about motorcycles but i can't call it educational to be honest.
