Even I knew that watching the anime was gonna be a pain made through episode before I decided "nope" the plot was a bit too slow in the manga with all the new characters and backstory, the manga is quicker for me and I still think i'm 7 volumes

I would advise anyone else in my position to do the same, as there are better things in life than grinding through days worth of mediocre anime made for kids and mexicans. I have also never watched DBZ other than the TeamFourStar version, which I find to be infinitely superior despite never having watched the official show.
