Hopefully Orange does the same thing that they did with Houseki, and blends 2D and 3D animation together so as to get the benefits of both without making everything look weird.

They used 2D animation for more than just faces in Houseki, certain scenes and effects were done entirely in 2D since it wouldn't look right in 3D. They understand when to not use 3D which is why they are so good at making CG anime. See pic related for an example..
