Sounds right, I'm not overly familiar with many series but it makes sense it would be a major one, I've been wondering how common sense the reveal of One Piece will be in the future and the impact it will have on picking up the series for new readers.

I mean the thing about that is that Super Saiyan is regularly featured in shitloads of merchandise so while it technically is a spoiler you could say the same thing about showing later Straw Hats in merchandise. It's pretty much synonymous with the identity of the series. Stuff like Ace dying is more genuinely spoilery because it's not something that would necessarily be immediately apparent if you were just looking at all the promotional material for the series, and it usually gets spoiled if people end up blabbing about it.

I now imagine a universe where the picture of Ace' corpse is a prevalent image in all One Piece media, to the point where it is included in group shots etc. just so everyone is aware the guy dies.
