Mahoyo seems to fairly heavily push the idea that outsiders who witness magic while not being mages themselves have to be eliminated at all cost, for the sake of preserving the mage community and its rules.
How does that apply to the Fate story universe exactly? With all those Holy Grail wars that border on Hiroshima-levels of explosiveness can't possibly go without at least a few civilian witnesses of magic. How are they dealt with?
They get the witness and cast spell that makes them forget what happened? That's basically what Rin did to Shirou in bad end in UBW where she took away his command spells and made him forget about everything grail war related.
Asher Gomez
I guess I'm too good at games to get bad ends. But thanks for the details
Bad ends in VN are worth reading. Hope you at least saw sparks liner high.
Ethan Brown
>He didn't completed Taiga's doujo You are bad at playing F/SN
Hunter Jenkins
the mages have their own schutzstaffel and dispose of the witnesses
Landon Price
But the Dojo scenes are the best part of it. And not like you have to be good at a game to click 1 in 3 choices that doesn't result in dying.
Levi Price
What about punishment for mages who were clumsy enough to tip-off an entire city about magic?
Daniel Cooper
>click I was using a joystick
Jaxson Nelson
They gas them as heretics, obviously. You might remember how in F/Z assassins were sent after Kerry's father when he turned island into vampire village or how church officially sanctioned caster and his serial killer-kun for elimination when they summoned giant sea monster.
Chase Diaz
Yeah, but both of those cases seemed like punishment for causing civil disorder and large scores of victims among civilians. I haven't particularly seen evidence of lethal punishment merely for disclosing information
Brody Wood
Killing the witness is still the most simple way to solve the problem. The spell for suppress memories isn't that simple. Alice and Aoko can't use it without a book with the instruction for exemple. Rin is just a really good and too kind for magus shit
Benjamin Wright
>Rin is just a really good and too kind for magus shit soft shit?
Michael Brown
"Remove" witnesses if there's a few of them, or make them forget what they saw if it would be too much of a mess to "remove" them
Evan Baker
I guess if it was accident, they will just deal witnesses while magus would receive threats from Clock Tower for doing it.
Andrew Gutierrez
>How does that apply to the Fate story universe exactly? It's the linchpin of Shirou getting involved in the HGW. If it wasn't for this rule Cu wouldn't have gone after shirou, who in turn would never have summoned Saber
>With all those Holy Grail wars that border on Hiroshima-levels of explosiveness can't possibly go without at least a few civilian witnesses of magic. How are they dealt with? The church admin is supposed to deal with it. We know that Kirei cleaned up the mess with the end of the grail war by locking all the victims in a basement for one.
Have a known conspiracy nut persona make a coverage with real info, then everyone who says they saw something is automatically equated to insane ramblers.
Joseph Reyes
Do you think Alex Jones covers magecraft in the Nasuverse?
Carson Watson
Interesting that Cu still tried to eliminate Shirou even after finding out him knowing magic.
Brody Wright
I don't think Cu had a choice at that part
Chase Davis
well it's basically mage the ascension, fate is more or less nasu's WoD fanfic
Tyler Johnson
You have to read Sparl Liner High user.
Wyatt White
Rin looks so sad there. I want to give her a cuddle.
