This looks more painful than if his arm were lopped clean off.

Pretty much.
He's going to go into shock right there and then. The amount of blood loss he is going to suffer would be fuckin huge and they need to tourniquet that shit from the shoulder.
Pray to god that the doctors can still save it.
It's a flesh wound for a true samurai.
They have basically magic medicine in Lupin.
Is the new Fujiko an hour long like the others?
What of Lupin is worth watching? I've seen most of part 1, a fair amount of part 2, enough of part 3 to realize I didn't like the style, and Castle of Cagliostro.
There's actually gore in Lupin now?
Maybe the Takeshi Koike movies/Fujiko Mine anime are more up your alley. Part 4/5 is kinda annoying because it leans more towards the Koike shit in terms of mature subject matter. I kind liked the divide, but the line is blurred now.
Lumberjack Larry is fucking terrifying.

>lupin
that is from lupin? what the fuck
Is it ever stated who Hawk's boss is?
This short OVA was the best iteration of Lupin, in terms of atmosphere.
>painful
Ha. Try not being able to move your fucking arm due to it being not just extremely painful but also bleeding nonstop.
How the fuck do you even recover from a wound like that?
since when is Lupin this brutal?
He's fine.
This is honestly what I always wanted it to be as far a Goemon's side stories go.
Things based around him should not be happy go lucky fun times.
Goemon is a man who has no problem with killing other people.
You dont.
Theres only so many nerves and veins you can lose before your limbs are beyond help.
This OVA was the first thing i saw from lupin, where can i start if im interested in the show ?
The partirs were wild in the 70s.
I know this is anime logic, but I'm surprised he is even capable of lifting his arms with a wound like that, let alone putting enough weight behind a sword stroke to decapitate a man. I don't know if in the real world his arm would be kaputt but that is one nasty, nasty would regardless, he would be dealing with the consequences of it for the rest of his life. He'd probably die younger just because of that.
In real life that kind of wound, going untreated of course, means death.
Heavy loss of blood, high risk of infection, lost of control over entire arm, not to mention the pain.
I havent watched that anime but I dont think magic is a thing, so its extra dumb.
The human body can be trained to have stronger muscles and build but shit like deep cuts like that and internal wounds in general are always a big fucking deal no matter how healthy you are. Even when you don't die at the very least you end up with permanent damage.
One of the few genuinely threatening Lupin villains
Superior samurai technique allows one to cut down their enemies even when half your shoulder muscles are gone
I wonder if he could take the sliced bacon to a hospital for reattachment. I don't think he could ever remain an accomplished swordsman with that missing meat.
Anyone else like the low key sci fi aesthetic Lupin has? It feels like it takes place in a Bond movie.
I mean hawks design is literally just a more canadian looking version of "Jaws"

>no shoulders
>still able to move his arms
I'm pretty sure it's implied that it's mamo
By being part of a franchise with no continuity.
Jesus Christ! There would be no way he would be able to still lift up his arms after that. Get that man to the hospital!!
That's what I like to think too but it's not really implied
bump for interest. I also saw this movie and I want more sexy animation
The Koike movies follow their own continuity and the Jigen movie had a post credit scene of Mamo spying on Lupin. It's too obvious
Lupin has several iterations, user. It's not all Castle of Cagliostro.
>I don't know if in the real world his arm would be kaputt
it would be worse than kaputt. it's worse than having the whole shoulder come off at the base. Which would actually have to happen later.
the way to fix a wound like that is legitimately just cut the arm off to save whats left
I couldn't even watch this dumb shit to the end.
I remember watching a first episode of an unkown season more than a decade ago. A random girl who went pool diving was swallowed by a giant shark planted there that was meant for Fujiko. All that's left of her was her top that floated up.
It's what awakened my vore fetish.
watch from this order,
>lupan woman called Fujiko (13 episode)
>jigen movie
>goemon movie, the one you watched already
>fujiko movie, BD out soon
this continuity is much more mature than your usual lupin, I like it.
