while the page after that is the best in that series, Its writing is still mediocre at best.

I disliked the guy early on so I dropped it, but from what I hear people like him so maybe it was an unfair knee-jerk reaction from me so now that Tomo's gone I might pick it back up too.

exciting happenings followed by nothing vs comfy boring followed by something
there's a place for either, but there's plenty of room to not like one vs the other.

It was alright, cute moments and likeable characters, but it just went on way too damn long with way too much "I'll repeat the same information or say something ominous" slowing shit down to a snails pace.

The ending itself is.. okay, but again, should have happened a fair bit earlier so that there would at least be some proper closure for main couple as well as the side characters, rather than it just being Kiss > End.

Flat B, when it was good it was really nice, but when it wasn't it was exasperating. doesn't deserve an A considering it's faults but despite all the noise a C is too harsh in my opinion. Final arc really is an F though. but even in this volume the first two arcs were pretty nice.

I love Tomo-chan as well, but I'm willing to give this a shot to. Teppu is long over as well.

It had plenty of quality moments and arcs. It was also one of my first 4koma romcoms that happens to be about a tomboy. I started it very early among other posters on this board from the early pages.

It is a 4/5 for me being above average. Would read all over again.

Lets be real, Tomo-chan was a victim of the 4koma format. It was great at the start when the story was literally just pixiv sketches that weren't meant to have a linear story, but at the series became increasingly popular Fumita tried too hard to have a plot with simply 4 panels which didn't work out too well.

The kiss itself was fine, the build up to it was not. I honestly didn't feel much from it.

format wasn't the problem, there were great arcs all along, problem was the unevenness of the writing which gave us crap arcs whenever the status quo got challenged. Only bad arcs were:
