Name a harder show to follow that's not some purposely confusing artsy fartsy shit

Name a harder show to follow that's not some purposely confusing artsy fartsy shit.

This thing is so full of random namedrops and terms and other nonsense that it's nearly impossible to know what is going on.

>No one understands what Akagi is doing.jpg

What a huge fucking brainlet.

Can't say that helped very much.

Overlord

What're you saying? Overlord is really straightforward.

Ainz please. Don't pretend you aren't perfectly aware of what's going on, and what your subordinates are doing.

Index is convoluted and often boring. I much prefer Railgun.

Why the hell anyone would even watch Index season 3?It's almost TG:re tier of adaptation for fuck sake

trying to condense 13 thick novels into 24 episodes is impossible, OP. Ion the other hand, don't think Index 3 is that bad.

Neon genesis evangelion

>rying to condense 13 thick novels into 24 episodes is impossible
Why the hell would they even try this when the thing sells like hotcakes?

The spinoffs are easier to follow since there isn't all the religious magic mumbo jumbo taking up all the time when you just want to see character interactions and battle scenes.
Granted the Accel anime will have magic, but it's some cool necromancy rather than "MUH CHRISTIANITY" that plagues the main series.

Because the girls are all 9/10 minimum?

here you go

Sorry, what? Overlord will fit entirely in some kind of Raildex spinoff and will be so insignificant that it becomes almost invisible.

Anime didn't cover even 40-50% of the material. This is not to mention the fact that all Index anime is complete unwatchable dogshit. You can only watch Railgun and Accel.

The actual 9/10 minimum girls haven't been animated yet.

All the actual 9/10 minimum girls have already been animated.

In Index I, mind you. All that's left now is disposable zoomer trash.

Not really, no. From both a writing and design perspective, all the better girls come later as the author and artist improve over time.
Even if you compare one-note side characters and antagonists from early on to now, the ones now are a step up.

>From both a writing and design perspective, all the better girls come later
I must commend your sense of humor.
>author and artist improve over time
>author
I wish. In reality we get the opposite.
>antagonists
Fiamma and Aleister are still the only ones that didn't suck and both are from OT.

No joke was made, but I'll take your lack of a counter-argument as a concession.

I wish life were that simple.

Haven't even really thought about my native language for like 15 years and this fucking season made me feel like the biggest ESLfag of all time.

>lack of counter-argument
>when no argument was given in the first place
Is this post-irony?

>>when no argument was given in the first place
Are you blind? This is the given argument.
>From both a writing and design perspective, all the better girls come later as the author and artist improve over time.
And there was no response beyond "lol nice humor". If you want me to explain further, I can. But if you struggle to see a simple point I doubt any further effort would help you.

Tokyo Ghoul:re

So it was post-irony, then.

>sells like hotcakes
so people read the novel

Surely a better adaptation would sell more copies of the novel as well. People won't touch something that seems like a confusing mess.

Type-Moon.

What? I didn't read a single LN before S3 and everything is pretty straightforward.
