Do you see anime characters as white or asian?

To me, they look Caucasian.I'm not talking about eye color or hair color, just going by facial features they look white.I was watching NHK and there is no way for me to see Sato as a Japanese or fucking Spike as John Cho.

The japanese worship westerners pretty much, just take a look at how they have xompletely adooted western attite, architecture, government etc. as well as all the english loanwords in their language. English is considered more "cool" and "sophisticated" than japanese. Like all asians, the japs have a serious inferiority complex. It's quite sad really.

They can be whatever they want to the viewer as the brain will just relate the vagueness of anime to its own familiar kin. The literal answer though is that they either look like hapas, a weird mixture of random ethnicities that would never interact (Cowboy Bebop features a Jew, Slav, and a Jap woman), or they're meant to be realistic and look like actual asians.

Depends on a character and art-style, but i mostly see girls as white, but guys as asians. It's impossible to someone like Arararagi as white.
