Power boost from leveling up is pretty huge. At level 2 Bell didn't have that many points accumulated yet, but his advantage becomes more significant with each level. At level 4, right after ranking up (so with all stats 0) he was already as strong as high-tier level 4 adventurers. Right now, with level 4 stats around 700 each, he should be as strong as weaker level 5 adventurers. When he ranks up, he should be easily one of the strongest level 5 adventurers just thanks to his accumulated points alone. And just reaching level 6 should be enough to make him by far the strongest person at that level.

first off, this Second off, just like any and all anime we know eventually the MC is going to be the strongest. The different is in Isekai the character always starts the strongest so the journey is lacking and the show becomes a power trip for the viewer of what they'd do in a fantasy world and which harem of girls there virgin dicks would pick.

That's only if you want to get into the Hero rankings. You can easily make King 1 rank (earning you >700 free quartz which is plenty) just by saving free quartz and rolling only on the banners with identified gamebreaking units when you have enough to do all 10 steps, + clean up the last couple of LBs with prism/star bonds and free hero trial bonds. . Shit I can still make King 1 using last year's GD units and the Oratoria units from way back at launch.

That's really their fault for getting invested in a PvP where the only way to compete is to be an ultrawhale. If you just play it for more Danmachi story content it's basically free. I mean hell even if you're playing it for waifus you can look at pictures of all the waifus in the Album even if you don't own them, and if you want to collect their Live2D outfits you can roll just 1-4 times for a guaranteed one copy of them to unlock the outfit. There is literally no reason to whale outside of PvP.

I got bored from the lack of content the only new thing I remember them putting out was the global raid event for time limited gear that you could only farm if you were on to play during a very limited time period so I just got tired of the event stamina grind.

Taking away the man thing which is 'hero going under painful trial then successfully overcoming the trial is what this story is about. Bell facing the odds that are stack against him which led him to pretty much getting his ass kicked, bones broken, and so wounded that he had to cauterize his wounds to keep himself from bleeding out using his firebolt, and then coming out of the shit like a goddamn hero is what makes this shit great. Heck, the shittiest thing about this shit is the slow euphoric reward that comes after because you know that even if Bell wins this shit his future is grim as shit since he's still in a place of adventurers, assholes, and Gods.

The meta of PvP at the moment is adventurer units with all physical dark attacks and a unit that gives out strength and magic debuffs to enemies.

Also, 3/6 of the adventurer units in the meta are time-limited, so if you don't have them or don't have them all at +5 limit break you're hopeless if you want to get to Hero III - I

In my experience, even with my party(which was a pretty good one), I can never get to Hero III because of whales/metafags preventing it from happening. It was so bad for me that I just gave up on using my strategy and I'm now trying my best to be apart of it.

Also, the assist units are just physical boosts and attack nullifiers that are (mostly) all available to get from the gacha at any time.
