It's a neat concept but what about this would cause a time loop? The MC going back in time a year with his present consciousness wouldn't mandate that he has to ask the same boon of the trickster god when he wins next, unless the god also set that up as a condition. And if he did it would be unfun for the god as well unless there was a chance that the MC could die every time he ran the battle. If that was the plot, basically the MC desperately trying to survive every year's battle as he tries to build up the knowledge of how to find the flaw in the god's demands, I think that's a good premise.

Probably a comedy desu. I want to focus on the strategies they'll use to commit genocide, not the moral ramifications of it.

Highly technical and intense sports anime about stupid competitions like professional eating or mechanical bull riding. The characters are all super serious about it but the tone overall is a bit comical.

Due to lack of "RealID" , he could only get shady oddjobs as a "runner" for a smalltime fixer he eventually meets up with. When his china brand cellphone exploded during a botched job which turned out to be an assassination attempt on his client, he found out he could absorb any energy emitted by electronic devices and also use them as magic catalysts including assploding stuff. Thus he started attaching random household appliances to himself to enhance his magic powers, and became the world's first TECHNOMAGE.

His helmet is a ricecooker, a toaster is hung on his belt kamen rider style, and various cracked tablet PCs cover his body. His "throne of power" is second-hand massage chair which restores his prana and allows him to dig into the memories of people 100 kilometres away, but only the lewd memories. His "it" are various junked washing machines, "ancient" kitchen stoves, and other large bulky items which have became obsolete.

Daemian Otto Mannis was just your regular space marine who signed up for the Mars assignment hoping that the backwater colony would be a cushy jeb where he could just dick around and take it easy. Unknown to him, the darklords of hell decided to open a portal to Mars, using it as staging ground to conquer his world.

Surviving the first assault on Mars, he somehow got sucked into a portal to Hell. Once he got there he was possessed by a betrayed darklord who gave him near immortality, super speed and QUAD DAMAGE!!!! to every attack he does including gunfire from his space mariney weapons.
