When the tsun is earned it instantly makes them better than most tsundere.
With Kurisu most of the interactions in the series with Okabe are based on a very bad first impression with him acting crazy. We get to see that she's genuinely nice towards him from the start in timelines where that doesn't happen.

She was third best even in her own series. People seem to mostly like her for the "relatable reference-spouting nerd, but not really. Just like me!" factor.
