>thinking the medium on which the art was created has anything to do with how appealing the art is
this is why visual arts are dying. unironically because people remove soul from the equation and base their judgement solely on how pretty it is

Is Yea Forums the new Reddit?

I don't care you post like one twitterfag.

>twitter screencaps
Yes, you are.
.

It can be good if they have the budget. Same for all time periods though the early stuff was rough mcgruff

I know you're doing it on purpose but I hope you get raped by an uber driver

your new is showing.

Early digital is bar none the worst era visually. It got better toward 2010 but it's back in decline again as they turn every single thing that was traditionally still hand drawn into cgishit.
>need a human floating in space
15 years ago in Planetes that's a human drawn bit of lineart. Today with Astra it's a fucking mongoloid looking model.

you're wrong.

anyone with 5 IQ knows new tools take time to figure out and learn. And that even a master using new tools can make bad work.

Go watch some old Gonzo CG and come back.

It's literally in the name 'visual arts'. hence the visuals, if garbage hamper the art.

Most early 2000 anime look like shit except for based Kyoani anime like Haruhi and Lucky Star

FLCL is an exception because its an ova, but the average early digital coloring TV anime looks like ass

It has horrible art style because it was the start of increasing digital interaction in the industry. Same with the late 90's. See pic, left is early 90's. Right is late 90's sequel.

What the actual fuck happened in that decade? Anime became so ugly.
