I like the fact that Ringo dies. There was no other way for Gyro to cross the border into the true man’s world.

Ringo had to die just because it's the rules he lived by. But I would have liked more of him preceding his encounter with Gyro and Johnny instead of him just being a guy out in the boonies. For someone Valentine trusted with this task, it might have made more sense for him to be a bodyguard or someone embedded in the race as security.

Blackmore was really prominent, and he was hyped up really well to the point that he was genuinely intimidating. I think he got enough time to shine to be honest.

D4C is pretty weird. That's the one I'm reading right now. It keeps showing the same set of events but adds a little piece of the puzzle in each chapter.

The arc itself was nonsense. Doesn't help that D4C had its ability tweaked a bit in a way that made the whole thing completely nonsensical.

It's considered non-canon but I like the way PHF brought Tonio back into the story as Volpe's estranged pacifist brother.

It was the stand ability of the guy he was working with. He got to keep and control the form after the guy died and he got the eye.
He should have awakened his own stand though.

I love how pissed Rohan gets throughout that arc.
He almost reverts to his villainous self he was introduced as. It works as a nice set up for the Highway Star arc too.

I just want to thank DP for the great job they've done with Jojo. These last episodes are some of the last Jojo anime we will ever see, and they're still going to animate part 6 despite nobody liking it just to wrap things up in a few years.

And given the commercial and critical flop SO is going to be and since Pt 7 is impossible to animate anyway that's going to be it. It was worth it, if only to experience the utter glory of Part 5. Thank you David Pro, you see the true Gangstars.

I like how Araki basically brought Sugar Mountain back as Daiya Higashikata. Not even saying that ironically. It was one of his better call backs without explicitly being a call back.

The funny thing tough is if Part 7 had been animated it would have been received just as a more palatable Part 3 since it's really only muricans who think that part is one of the best. It suffer from a lot of the issues of Part 3 as well, I'd day it's good but definitely not as good as Part 4 and 5, it's messy really more on the level of Part 2.

But yeah at the end of the day is not possible to animate something like that.

How was Berserk animated in 1997? It had a similar almost 'photorealistic' style to it. It will probably be simplified in a similar manner but just about every part of jojo has been simplified visually to allow it to be animated.
I'll take a bit of a downgrade. I don't even care if it stays like the Early Part 7 style that was basically exactly the same as parts 5 and 6.
Nothing's impossible, it just depends on what you're willing to sacrifice.

Araki made a good decision to just start fresh with a new world after part 6. I loved the whole idea of a race across america with a old western theme.

High Voltage was serviceable in actually concluding the race once D4C was over with and set up Poco Loco winning without him just going and beating Johnny. Bringing back time power to contrast against the Part 7 motif of space and dimension was a fun idea, and it also gives room for Steven and Lucy to wrap things.
