I used to always think he was annoying looking, especially the designs where he's the most chibi looking. I don't mind it as much anymore.
The art style really varies. Some of the women can look really cool and stand-out with some of the art and other times they have a pizza head and simplistic features that look like it took someone a few seconds to just slap a design together.

With Sera it's a little complicated. She has a crush on Conan stemming from her childhood memory of him as Shinichi, but her fondness and fascination with him seems to extend to being interested in the same girl he likes.
Both are underrated doujinshi possibilities.
