A true 3D pig.
Retsuko is a cute idiot.
and why is that?
wtf i hate women now
I'd sooner say the most accurately written for normalfags.
Who was in the wrong here?
Neither. They both wanted different things.
that's the reasonable answer and therefore boring. we should instead arbitrarily choose a side and have an intense flame war over two fictional characters
I'm sorry, I forgot where I was.
try not to do it again
Okay. I mean FUCK YOU
No argument here
I mean, she could be the most relatable.
What did you say?
She's a cat, you fucking retard.
Retsuko panties when?
>Rejects Haida for no reason, despite both of them wanting the same thing, having the same interests and working well together.
>Procedes to bitch about how she can't find anyone good enough for her.
>Then starts dating people who are the complete opposite of her.
The only one worse is Haida for still wanting some thot.
When did she reject Haida? The only thing I can think of was that dream but that was a dream.
The Christmas special.
Wasn't that a dream though?
no
She's the most accurate, but actual women are awful so I wouldn't call her best.
She had just broken up with Resasuke at the time and wasn't ready for another relationship yet
There's a timeskip in the Christmas episode (the first part takes place directly after the end of S1, well before Christmas) and during the actual Christmas segment of it Fenneko tells Haida that it's been a while and he should try again, but he doesn't
yea, but i like fenneko way more, she didn’t get much screentime in s2 though. i really want them to develop her and haida way more next season, but i’m not sure if that will happen.
Who is your favorite character?
strawpoll.me
A red panda.
reminder that haida is for fenneko
It would make for a much more interesting and compelling story.
>average japanese roastie
>best written
No, you fucking idiot.
Quints confirm. How can anyone else even compete, fennebros?
Retsuko is unlikable to me. She looks down on practically all her coworkers, even when she learned more about them. She's childish and selfish when it comes to relationships, I felt bad for every guy she dated and even worse of Haida.
Watching her berate her mother openly and being fake nice to everyone while she's really just a bitter and angry made me like her less.
Anai's behavior was worrying but I at least understood what Retsuko did would have made any young person fresh from collage feel bad. Making her coworkers get involved only made things worse and she completely ignored the advice Gori and Washimi gave her. When she said: "I could never do that" after seeing Kabae actually trying to teach Anai how to do his job it pissed me off.(Granted Kabae was a bit too motherly and less like someone trying to train the new kid)
I actually started to like Retsuko during the first season when she seemed like she was maturing. Why the hell did they make it seem like she had learned nothing from last season?
Tough truth: casual normalfags on Yea Forums only started caring about this "anime" when it was released on netflix
Her mom is incredibly pushy and tries to trick her into relationships she doesn't want. It's not surprising Retsuko is fed up with her.
Also, she absolutely comes to respect her co-workers. Look at how she thought of Kabae towards the beginning of the first season compared to the end of the second. Hell, she still hates Ton (completely justifiably) but she at least understands why he is the way he is and is able to find some actual common ground.
I mean, being on Netflix literally increases the show's exposure to every Netflix subscriber. It's much more of an obvious truth.
Good, I hope more anime gets more mainstream exposure. Need to get back to the Toonami days of anime boom.
>typical roastie: the anime
why should I watch this
I think she is wrong.
She haven't told him that she want marriage. She told it to all her friends, but not him. Then she invited him to karaoke and screamed it at him. What was he supposed to do?
Also, she is thirsty for man with money, so she could leave her work. She finds 2 such man and fucked up both times.
You shouldn't, and you should also go back you filthy migrant.
She is not a gold digger. If she was she wouldn't let go and poke holes in the condom. Ideally she just wants someone that makes enough to support a family in case she is not able to.
It was sound advice.
First part, sure, but seeing such an accurate portrayal of modern women being liked on Yea Forums, without any other substance to it, is lame. If I wanted a reminder of how entitled women are, I'd go outside, not watch Mongolian zoestropes.
Roastie is not Yea Forums parlance. I'm sure you can relate, since the people you're complaining about are filthy migrants too.
>Roastie is not Yea Forums parlance
It's become sitewide parlance.
Fujoshi isn't really applicable here.
Only because you shitheads insist on spreading your shit everywhere like mentally ill patients in padded cells.
>best written
nah
>realistically written
more like it
It's like any meme; if it fits, it sits.
>The tough truth
learn proper engrish chink
I think Retsuko's mother acts pushy because she's trying to give Retsuko some advice but Retsuko is very stubborn. ( I don't like her tricking Retsuko though) She also doesn't communicate her feeling properly, she sort of bottles them inside and tries to skirt around any issue she might face. I think if Retsuko would try to talk to her mother instead of closing off and being dismissive of her advice then her mother wouldn't be as pushy. I'm glad she actually started to listen to her near the end though.
But that's the problem, to me at least, she seems to lack basic empathy until the other characters do something to change her perception of them. Let's use Anai as an example. Some of the things that Retsuko went through the first season that made her miserable was also thrown at Anai. I thought Retsuko would sort of see this and realize that Anai isn't really that different from her. They're both putting on a face to keep their job while internally they're suffering. But it's also because though Anai was needlessly passive aggressive, he did address his feelings about not wanting to be overworked and mistreated. Retsuko let that fester and it backfired on her pretty hard.
She seems to have a harsh view on people out the gate, like how she acts during the speed dating scene: youtube.com
You've watched less than 10 anime.
yeah if she was actually a gold digger she would have immediately taken tadano up on his offer to fund her life while she quits her job
instead she hesitates, has difficulty even handing the resignation letter to ton, and throws it away when he tells her to reconsider
This is best written female characters
>loves metal
>never attends any concerts
what did she mean by this?
>literally my mom's coworker
>best written
She's not a complete slut
She’s a gold digger she just wants a husband to take care of her she’s like every other women in the world that doesn’t have long term goals
if she was really a gold digger she would have gone with tadano, who was offering her all the money she ever needed
Maybe she can't afford to go see any of the bands she likes as a part-timer wage slave? You could also chalk it up to her keeping her love of metal a secret to her peers.
>5 years of wageslaving
>no savings
is she retarded?
That's Yea Forums-level mentality.
This, came here to post this.
Just because it makes you angry doesn't mean she's badly written
