Last thread was pretty good, share and discuss manga that never get threads
ITT: Manga only you read
Other urls found in this thread:
It's shit, don't bother.
I've been reading Gleipnir recently. It's not that bad story-wise and there's some really good panels in there.
I love Gleipnir! I also love loli assassin.
Shinohayu
is okayish, but the grandpa is self-indulgent patronizing character. I know is meant to serve as a father figure, but is annoying
Literally has translation threads for every chapter.
Hey, I read Asebi as well. Although I temporary stopped at volume 6 because of lack of time. I've seen that there are like 10 volumes translated already. Need to catch up soon.
U12. It's about a group of girls that get locked in an underground prison with a bunch of pedos. Nobody reads it because only the first 2 or 3 chapters are translated. Pic related says "Welcome aboard the Dick Express"
This and Kiichi used to have a thread or two but nowadays it's rare to even see them mentioned
Pretty weird considering the overall nonsensical stuff that happens in them
Because it's been years, that's why. Discussion is always vastly centered on ongoing / recent translations.
Asebi is all right, at least it doesn't drag its feet plot-wise.
This is a really good one if you like assassins
I finished Kuro earlier because it was mentioned last thread and thought it was pretty good. The pacing felt off in the last few chapters and I still don't fully understand what happened and why
Didn't everyone read this? I remember it being pretty popular.
yajin
But I like Asebi, too bad it already ended though.
Slice of life about nuns and inquisitors in Germany
This one's good but the translations are way too slow.
Chihayafuru but with naginata.
Any shoujo bro read this?
So do they get raped or is this just funny hjinks because the pedos aren't attracted to JK
>it already ended
Wait, really? Without spoiling anything, was the ending any good?
I read Asebi too
30-something years old hopeless otaku lady accidentally jumps back in time to her 16 years old self body to rediscover a glorious otaku culture of 90s and rethink her life choices
I read this one and I like it
>underground prison with a bunch of pedos.
basically Yea Forums
It's Watamote but better
I'm still unsure
It's in the last chapters now.
lots of cute and funny hijinks here
One of the cuter and funnier series, for sure.
I take back anything I thought while reading the first chapter, after this line I'm sold
Kind of mad about how this ended.
I'm kinda disappointed by that manga. It just keeps throwing new characters and fights in every chapter, with barely any adventure and barely any sky world.
Not exactly a manga but the thread needs a bump
Flipped through the first part and it looks good, tho I still need to finish
Probably not that popular on Yea Forums
Strangely enough, despite being isekai and having a sharkteeth yankee protagonist, I don't see this one in any threads. Too light-hearted or not edgy enough perhaps.
Interesting story
Not sure how to describe the execution
Look, I gave it a shot but it was terrible.
I liked this one. Don’t know why I dropped it.
Futago no Teikoku, a semi-historical manga that strikes a great balance between its historical and fantasy elements, with not-Japan invading not-China thanks to a specific magic item. The two main characters are also interesting, especially the MC.
Also doesn't hesitate to mention the enslavement of women by the not-Japan army, which is probably one of the reasons why the manga is on hold unfortunately.
Anything by kito is worth a read.
Is it doujinshi?
half of his work is essentially torture/suffering porn
>c.6 by Suimasen Scans over 6 years ago
I was reading it.
no, I read the 2 translated chapters that are available and it actually turns into an action series as the girls try to kill the prisoners in order to get their freedom back
I just read it because I love Deathsmiles too much and the art reminds me of it, it's ok I guess, fighting lolis are always good in my book.
What's this?
Slice of owl manga.
A story about a suicidal guy who wants to eat crab before he dies, after he tries to rob a rich woman's house he ends up tagging with her in a trip across Japan
I wish it went with leaving the first heroine instead of her returning after view chapters
I was gifted the first volume years back, but I never bothered reading more of it. Not worth it?
I remember seeing a page of one manga that seemed interesting but I forgot to search it.
The page was about a girl that seemed interested in a handsome guy but the guy was a friendless loner. She asked him where he was going to have lunch and he answered that he was going to eat at a bathroom stall alone since he had no friends. The girl says a line like "How could he say something so lame but still look so cool?" Never saw the page again after that.
It had a school setting and looked to be in the shoujo genre. Can anyone help?
Isekai Genshiken is pretty good.
Main girl is totally my type.
Have seen literally one thread for this on Yea Forums after doing 20 chapters of it, least someone's reading I guess.
I've seen it come up in a few threads, but not any dedicated specifically to it.
I love that one.
Was probably the only person on Yea Forums who was reading Himedore when it was being serialized. Was probably axed since there was no hint of it ending until the very last chapter.
Are there any cases of lost manga? I'm sure it happened at least a few times
Nice little romcom
Pretty much a story about some rich college kid discovering that overclocking is a competitive sport of some kind with a world record and everything and him trying to the best in this "overclocking" world to impress the girl on the front cover, who is currently working for the number one overclocker in the world.
It was alright I guess, nothing stood out as impressive or interesting beyond the initial plot. I'm not even sure why I read it. The art was cute but the payoff at the end was just kind of lackluster, he doesn't even get with the girl, or the other girl that falls in love with him.
Doesn't this get threads pretty regularly?
ain't this just porn
the ending is a mess and a waste of the potential of the majority of the series
I half-read it. Has a few things I like, and a lot of things I don't, as expected of isekai.
How lewd is it?
Dolly Kill Kill was recommended in the last thread without warning that it had been cancelled... Fuck you.
There's only two chapters freely available, first and latest. In the first, it starts with the loli playing with the MC's morning wood until he starts fingering her. The latest is just straight up a sex scene.
I like it, though I'm a sucker for medieval settings.
I read this the other day and it is the last volume in the series.
>Arte
>Medieval
It's Renaissance.
I enjoyed it but they kind of threw a shit ton of exposition and coincidences at you in the final volume.
Alright, smart boy.
It's cute.
Probably my favorite in the idoru genre
Read the first few chapters, it was horrendously generic.
Dead translation and also axed if I'm remembering right.
We all read Kuro.
Are you serious?
Asebi is pretty good.
Ive been reading Golden Kamuy and im loving the story and characters so far. Its also been giving off a inuyasha-adventure feeling as well.
I forgot to buy this when it came out a month or two again. Thanks for the reminder, user.
Why would you want to overclock?
This manga is moderately popular though, it even gets the occasional thread here.
How does this end? I read a doujin where he turned into a girl.
I've only seen this one talked about in Yea Forums once.
I forgot kek
he's posting the pre serialization prototype
nope, it's not good, MC get asspulls everytime, is fucking garbage
>Manga that never get threads
>Golden Kamuy
We have threads every week.
This one is really good aside from the damn cult arc that drags on too long.
I swear every year I just pick something from the series up randomly and hate everything about it.
This one was particularly bad.
I don't know if this got axed or nobody cares about translating it, but the fact that there's only 3 chapters rustles my jimmies.
Dakini is fucking CUTE
Iirc people dropped it because the author was being a faggot about money and learning that people overseas were reading it.
Anyone else read Torikago no Tsugai? It's one hell of an emotional rollercoaster ride, especially the part where it's revealed why the MC constantly mumbles
Kimi can fuck right off though. Most of the characters are well written but his whole thing of "I don't want to take responsibility of anything or make decisions for myself so you take responsibility for my actions" thing is obnoxious as fuck
I honestly would've liked it in any other shounen-shit manga or anything of the sort, but for whatever reason it feels out of place in this one. I'm guessing the author was desperate to draw some action or something
Stalker usually does them alongside Senko-san I think
the author is spergy about piracy so he crowdfunds TLs. theres 9 chapters available now
Addicted to Curry
Nice series, but updates are way too rare.
Anyone here read The Balls of the Elves? Bloomed in Action? Guin Saga? Anything by Aki Irie? Otome Monster Caramelize?
How about the Korean ones like Terror Man, Oh! Holy, or Distant Sky?
Ones from other countries like Hooky, Rise From Ashes, Winter Moon, or Fictional Skin?
Saraba, Yoki Hi
>Newlyweds Akira and Keiichi moved to a new place and are adjusting to their new lives. Akira works with kindergarteners while Keiichi is a writer.
It's a Josei Drama that is really comfy, would be fine with translations being a little more fast but some are better than none at all. Barely hitting 1k views in MD. Also blood related incest.
>Aki Irie
Yea Forums was big into Ran when it was being translated, and Gunjou Gakusha to a lesser extent. I've seen the current detective one mentioned a little bit and sometimes pages show up in OPTs, but I haven't read it myself.
I don't think Guin Saga ever got much discussion, even when the anime was airing.
ah, what a shame. at least now I know where I can aim my hatred towards. at some point I thought of buying the original release if the story had a decent development, but I dont really want to give money to spergs either.
You can find more if you search the archive.
Say what you will about the sperging out, but that manner of going about it seems pretty good for series that don't seem to be headed towards official licensing.
Not one to deride piracy, that's how I read and watch most stuff, but the mangaka might get more cash in pocket that way right? And isn't that ultimately a good thing so they can keep doing their work?
Manga is a great mystery but discussion was damn rare due to being bi-monthly and slow translations. Becoming monthly so far doesn't change much.
>even when the anime was airing
Wait it got an anime?
this one is a bit repetitive
dead like the manga
It was something about running a program and getting it to complete as fast as possible by overclocking the CPU and shit, the fastest completion time would give you the world record in that category. The MC wanted to get the world record to impress the girl, but she worked for the person who HAD the world record.
The overclocking website actually exists in real life since the mangaka actually went and did this shit for a while.
Tomizawa Hitoshi is plenty popular here. Hopefully, he won't continue his cg bullshit.
Just read it. Was really fun, thanks user.
Because richboi sports.
