Disappointing at how video-gamey her dialogue was, with her items literally offering stat boosts.

It's basically the exact same goal as Kaiman's in Dorohedoro, but at least there's a goal now.

I hope so. I can handle the completely bizzarro space science for the sake of wacky worldbuilding but I draw the line at nip's insistence on smashing boilerplate videogame logic into their series. At least leave that trash in Isekai.

I like the atmosphere of some kind of hellish futuristic setting with space travel
The wacky comedy and gore are the same as Dorohedoro, which is fun.

It's already way goofier that Dorohedoro ever was. It still feels like the proper story isn't properly laid out, which is a weakness Doro certainly didn't have. We also still clearly have only seen a fraction of how this world operates.
having a flashback in chapters 3 and 4 wasn't the best pacing decision.
