Struggled quite a bit with this one. Even though I live Borrel's design the wings are still confusing to me. Gun dragons are always great to watch, hard to draw.

I hope this monster gets featured in the upcoming artbook. She is what people in this board would call "waifu material". But her legs are covered and I had to come up with a generic shoe. Even if she isn't in the artbook it'll be amazing to see many other cards revealing details impossible to see in the card's art frame alone.

I really want to test a rescue ferret deck. I love it that every new era of the cardgame has had it's own rescue beast monster. Looks wise, my personal ranking goes: Ferret>Cat>Rabbit>Hamster
Though Rabbit is still my all time favorite because of Dino rabbit nostalgia.

I have to admit they dropped the ball when they made Aoi and Specter forget their previous quarrel and just be allies in the Ignis warfare arc. If they didn't want to make a duel just for it they could at least have had Specter apologise much like Revolver did to Soulburner.

I'm Anna team. I never stood Serena's rebel brat attitude. Her betraying the academia just like it means nothing to her felt a little forced to me. Even Sora still kept respect for his old comrades and the academia as a whole. It also let me down that she never really interacted with Yuri when they were supposed to be an item just like all the other Yu and Ruri were (especially Yuya and Yuzu).
Anna, on the other side, was always a really fun character so see. Her, her deck, her voice and just everything related to her were really lovely. I played her episodes so many times over the years and I don't get tired of it.
Serena is still really cute though. It's mainly the two aspects above mentioned that make Anna more likeable to me.

Appreciated, keep up the good work. The rescue monsters are indeed a fun series of cards. A deck with saryuja alongside rescue ferret can do a lot of crazy stuff ranging from double quasar to some FTKs. Rescue rabbit is still quite powerful in mekk-knight, gladiator beasts with their new stuff and dinos who are solid with the new type support. Evolzar xyz even got some new support lately in the form of a level 1 who attaches materials back from grave so who knows, it could be fun to test around with.

Serena's betrayal of the academy didn't feel too forced to me since unlike Sora she was less aware of how the invasions worked. She was sheltered enough to be surprised when Yuzu told her not everyone is a duelist. She thought the invasion was more like some honorable duel than a genocide. Her lack of a pairing with Joeri feels to me more like Joeri lacking a redemption scene more than any shortcoming of Serena, but she spent most of the last third brainwashed so it's not like her character was done justice there either. That being said, I still like Anna more and anyone who can punch through concrete would beat Serena at arm wrestling.

Contact fusion has existed since valkyrion. And super polymerization can be used by anyone like yuri and has its main function copied in other new cards that count as normal fusion summons. Neither require higher forms.

I'm currently watching the second season of GX and boy, it is fucking hilarious how much shit happens. It is as if they have piled 3 seasons into one. The plot with Aster fucking Jaden up and Sartorius being the big bad guy works for a season but then you have so much stuff happening in between like Pegasus and Chumley coming back, the gang going to Domino City, Aster's dad plot, Alien war, Zane going edgy, the GX tournament, that is hard to see where the plot is going but what's most surprising is that it almost works. Overall the season is still a mess but man is it fun one. So much development and good character moments you can not help but congratulate the writers for at least having tried to maintain a level of consistency through the season. Maybe the staff should have let Takahashi do the GX Movie he wanted to do instead of trying putting all his ideas in one season. Still a fun season though.

The whole accel synchro thing requires the concept of tuners. One can only accel synchro with a turner that was synchro summoned. Links don't need a special card to be summoned, they just need to fill requirements. It would simply be known as link summoning on the opponents' turn. If it happened in the anime though, it could be given a funny name akin to extra link full mode.

Pretty much every other summoning methods have been displayed (mostly as a one-off monsters) in the anime, except for pendulums (due to arc-v traumas?) which still topped and received supports IRL anyway.

I think it's some kind of tradition in Yu-Gi-Oh! to shit/nerf on the former Summoning Method respecting to each era. The next season of the anime will probably shit/nerf on Link Summoning as well.

One of the mains reasons I loved Arc-V was because it used all the Summon Styles so that going down the shitter annoyed me.

Come to think about it 5ds and zexal also shelved fusion and synchro respectively for the whole series (almost in 5ds' case).

I recommend the GX Manga. It's well structured and feels much more like a canonical continuation of DM. That said, the GX anime is great too. I wish they'd print more of Sartorius' cards.

I doubt the marincess. They never used foxglove or laurel.

But, will we ever get to play with YUSAKU and RYOKEN? That's what I'm looking forward the most but if we don't get them dueling in real life in the animals I don't see how we will add it to the game and it sure makes me sad.
