That monkey boy better win the Otomibowl god damnit.
>to boot
Yes, boot.
I think she's more interested in Akai, Natsuno is too much of a pervert for her.
Looks like Nangou does care about Touma to a degree.
Also, if anyone was wondering, this character is a cameo by Asako Ito, a famous comedian. She also voices the character.

One thing that the anime changed was the classroom scene, where the teacher asked Akai to give some information on Mitsuru Adachi. In the manga, the butt of the joke was Adachi's overweight editor.
Just starting to watch, dope melodies in the OP.
>shiny rainbow gate
They died? kek.
Nice self promotion,heh.
Whats his problem? Just because his little brother is in meisei?

I finally started to catch up, I'm on episode 12 and I must say I do.
It's just a very bizarre viewing experience because
1. I can't fathom how anyone who's entirely unfamiliar with Adachi's other works would come to think of it, as 90% of the plot and the characters are literally just references to Touch and his other series
2. The humour and the character work in the Adachiverse always feel like it's a perpetual late Showa era, but my brain gets cognitive dissonance from the full digital art in the anime.
Sure somebody else must feel the same way?
>bizarre viewing experience
I get a bit of this one but not due to your reasoning, its just like its a nice somewhat chill watch, theres a bit of drama for tension but not overdone. Its great and I never read his works other than stuff anons might have posted in the threads though even the thread are rare or died early.
>28 degrees
Shit would be just a waste of money if it is set to 28 at my place.
First time Adachi watcher here. I really like it. The baseball parts is hype and the SoL bits are nice and comfy. I thought I'd grow tired of the glacial pace the show was moving at when it started but honestly I've come to love it. We need more shows that are willing to take their time like this.
I don't think the issue is that they're in different schools. I'd say something happened in the past that made them hate each other, and he doesn't want to lose to Meisei because it would be a "win" for his brother.
It would be a weird experience if this was someone's first Adachi work. And the thing is, it probably is for many, since Cross Game (and technically Short Program) is the only manga/anime of his that was officially licensed in English.
Although most of his works have been completely scanlated/fansubbed over the years, so I'm not sure how much the absence of official releases counts.
Casual 4th wall stuff like this made me chuckle throughout watching the series.
I hope we get some background on the akai bros, maybe we getting some flashback when the big one pitching or batting the last ball, at least something to show the origin of their beef.
To butt.
Good for you then, there's a charm in immediately identifying every adult character on sight and then slowly see those connections brought out and discovered in-universe by the kids, but I guess there's a charm in learning along with them as well.
It's gonna be an incest end, user
New OP is okay, but it just can't compare to the first one. The first OP was fantastic.

Oh, it came back? Was worried the new season would take a while to come back.
Is the manga near the end? I've never followed an Adachi series while it was ongoing.
