Deku got "5 new quirks to explore" last arc. Which means we'll be getting either 10-15 Deku-centric arcs that show him mastering these powers and Super Strength, or a time-skip that forwards to the third year and has Deku with all Quirks mastered. Both and a combination of them seem dreadful. There just wasn't enough material in this manga created for 30 volumes to last what will probably be 70+ volumes.
Shiggy is about to mostly wipe out yet ANOTHER villain organization to cement himself as the main threat, and is going to gain a ton of resources from doing so. But it seems unlikely that he'll manage to wipe out UA or even kill a class A student in the first year. Unless there is a time skip right afterwards...
So either next arc Shiggy faces the kids and wins, leading to a time skip and destroyed society, but Deku becoming Superman off-panel, or the League of Villains faces the kids after this arc and continues to lose despite this power-up due to Deku awakening Quirks, wasting completely the power boost of this arc.
Of course, I am assuming that the manga won't go to Shiggy beating the kids multiple arcs in a row, or end abruptly with Deku still having "some Quirks left to explore". Both being uncharacteristic of Hori and Battle Shonen.
The Liberation Army being utterly demolished this arc also means that Hori has no interest in having other recurring villain teams, which could help prolong the manga's lifespan for a bit.
tl;dr: Hori needs a time skip, or this arc is wasted powering up a villain that soon goes back to jobbing. I don't want a time skip where Deku is suddenly All Might levels. I don't want the only thing in this arc that changed (LoV's power levels) to be wasted. We are getting one or the other in the next 100 chapters, as far as I can see.

Frankly I'm not sure how this mess will be salvageable. I think Hori is trying hard to subvert typical shonen storytelling tropes, and in doing so keeps removing tension in whatever he built up previously. Things like making Endeavor's obsession/abusiveness, which was practically his only defining characteristic, completely 180 so quickly after United States of Smash, for example. Yes, it isn't the Zuko/Ozai relationship that most shonen who employ daddy issues go for, but this subverted alternative feels so uninteresting, as if our time was wasted.
The only thing I can think of is that Deku will lose all his powers by the end of the series and still manage to be the world's greatest hero despite that. Establishing that Deku has the ability to and was at one point willing to pass on his power to someone more deserving, and that the first chapter narration explains how Deku becomes the greatest hero (not necessarily with or without superpowers), makes me think Hori wants to "subvert" us yet again by making us believe that Deku is so great because of having all these superpowers, but even without them he triumphs and all that uninteresting shit.
