To the surprise of no one Takamura wins again.
To the surprise of no one Takamura wins again
The whole point was for Ippo to learn how to deal with lefts. So how did Takamura do it?
Its funny if you read Takamura's line of sorry for being too strong as the author actually saying sorry for being a crap writer
punched the guy with his left hand
Did he punch him in the dick?
>Nothing happens: The manga
Based Takamura. We will not survive another depression arc.
>Title defense
For what purpose? Why isn't he challenging the next weight class champ
I guess because he wants to conquer the weight class in it's entirety.
Anyway now that he's in Super Middleweight and has a whopping 8 pounds higher weight limit we won't get another Takamura weight cut mini arc before he fights the Champion
Don't count it out, he only really started with that shit after moving up the first time anyway.
is ippo going to come out of retirement? i haven't read in awhile.
He has eight whole pounds more of leeway.
I find it hard to believe he's going to have another near breakdown with that looser restriction. I mean he managed to box in Super Welter (at least I assume he and Hawk were Super Welter) and going from there to Middleweight in less than going from Middleweight to Super Middle.
He has 14 more pounds overall he doesn't need to force off himself than before, and that's more considerable than you think.
We really won't be weight cutting as much, 160 is his natural weight. Takamura's walking around weight is 90kg
O X Y G E N
So really his problem if anything is going to be getting in Heavyweight.
Theres also other classes in the way too,
Super Middle 168lbs 76kg
Light Heavyweight 175lbs 79kgs
Cruiserweight 200lbs 91kgs
Heavyweight, unlimited
Each one of those is a very big difference
takamura was just the right amount of asshole back then
Because Kamogawa's a stubborn idiot who doesn't want to leave Japan ever so Takamura has to do a million title defenses to try and convince the champs to have a match at a much smaller venue than what they could draw elsewhere
Not to deal, was to dominate his left.
He's going to Super Middle now so you might as well cross it off.
Light Heavy shouldn't be too hard, nor should getting into Crusierweight.
It'll be bulking up correctly for Heavyweight that will be the thing.
>Has to go from 176 minimum for CW to 201 for Heavyweight.
He'd have to do some pretty hefty weight lifting.
