Sawa (the MC) life doesn't get magically better since her family still sucks but she has a group of nice people helping her out, that's about it. Romance is with two cute autists (Sawa and Shigure and Akito's kid, Shiki) but they're OTP and will get together in the future anyway. The older gen Sohma gets mentioned but doesn't show up sadly.

This is a solid choice for a series to watch with your mom. I watched the original one with my grandmother before she passed away back in the early '00s while she was dying of cancer and she seemed to really enjoy it. the main character was really close to her mother, and her friends were also very close to her mother as well so that could be a nice element to the series to share with your mother as well.

The purpose was for Shigure to distract Hatori from Kana's wedding and Ayame showing up was to spend time with the two of them because it was the same week as Kana's wedding. It was a nice sentiment of the two of them not wanting their best friend to be alone while the women he had to give up was getting married to another man so it made sense as to why he was there. But because it's Ayame he had to be silly and try to win Yuki's love.

Because She ends up with Hatori and the two of them have a daughter together. Mayu is the one who dated Shigure back when they were in college and she dumped him after a month.

Right but why she did dump him? Because he acted cold to her? Why did he act cold to her? Because the author is a retard and was set on shipping him with the reverse trap.
