i wish it went for the full gay instead of gay fragrant
just finished cowboy bebop yesterday, the story and characters is boring and forgotable, 4/10
Well, I was planning on finally starting Monogatari this weekend but I figured I could easily get some discussion going if I wanted to
That's what happens when you don't watch it with us.
Binge watched Jashin Dropkick, the ending was shit. What even was the purpose of Persephone
space runaway ideon + movie. 10/10. plebs won't get it of course
kodocha. doesn't help the subs for the latter half of the series are shit
Kicking myself for not watching Rurumo with Yea Forums back in 2014. What a magical experience that was
just read the archived threads
i only do this for gems
You really want to submit OP to that torture?
shoujo shuumatsu ryokou
Hello, me.
Please do not suggest something so stressful. Winter of last year was hellish to follow and I've been trying to take it easy.
It still gets bump limit threads in most months. The biggest problem you might get if you only watched the anime is people talking about the last volumes.
That season was quite bad for that. I watched 10 at the time and have since gone back and done 6 more. Considering I only found 2 of them bad it would've been a busy season if I'd started them all at the time.
It's airing now and I can't find anyone to talk to about YU-NO
How about trying the episode threads? I just checked and most seem to get >100 posts.
Just finished watching this. It's okay. The main couple was pretty cute.
Finished NG Knight Lamune and 40 and I heavily enjoyed it.
Finished Lain yesterday. Discussion has been dead for two decades.
have you read the few wholesome chapters after the anime finished?
>Cockona!
Galaxy Angel, I'm about 15 years late. Loved it, felt a lot like milky holmes.
Mint best girl.
Magi, finished the anime and read the manga. Franchise is fucking dead.
It'd be one of the best shonen I ever read if not THE best were it not for the rushed clusterfuck Alma Torra introduced.
Reading peoples thoughts about it in the archive made me feel like I missed out, again
Houseki no kuni
The manga is in hiatus or something so its threads can't get even just 10 posts.
watched amazing nurse nanako. It was kinda ass
There were a bunch of Lain threads recently since it's officially become "open source" in Japan
>Cocona
>liking cock
You take that back! Her love for Papika is pure. Pure!
>Papicunt!
Finished Ranma 1/2 the other day, tried to make a thread but it died after 10 replies
>i wish it went for the full gay
it does tho
What breed of puppy is best suited for domestic life?
Just wait until October, Season 3 will airing then.
Domestic girlfriend, read the manga afterwards, it was my first, only started watching anime on May of this year, been enjoying the ride a ton. Rui
but user it ends up in ntr
shh i'm missing half of the last volume still. I know it's ongoing fortunately. Any good manga recommendations?
Kodomo no Jikan
Rozen maiden
Parallel Paradise for plot but mostly boobs
Season 1 was a borderline masterpiece. Season 2? Not so much
damn i've just googled ntr, you've kinda turned my day into shit, i'm afraid to keep reading. Btw, how frequent does manga get released? I use Manga Rock
mangadex.org
translation groups differ, some release chapters once a week
looking at mangadex.org
The manga was on a break in June you idiot melon.
Finished fullmetal alchemist yesterday. It was good. Got little bit triggered of the annoying voice actor of Edward and the japs saying “Al’ruuu” every minute
Is it finally time for me to watch LOGH, Yea Forums?
The team that worked on S1 was working on the movie so S2 was written by the guy who wrote GiTS Arise.
2003 or Brotherhood?
No, faggot, I started watching it this week, wait your turn
I just finished Concrete Revolutio the other day.
What a cool fucking anime. Oozes with style and ambition and had consistently great animation.
Reading the Yea Forumsrchived threads made me sad to miss out on the wild ride.
Okay, let me know when you're done!
Shoutouts to the awesome character designs.
The only thing i did this with was with Madoka and god i spend an entire day reading
Mysterious Girlfriend X. Pretty great, ending is weak. Does anyone know if the manga is worth reading?
Watching shows as they air with Yea Forums is overrated. It's definitely fun and worth trying, but it's not going to revolutionize your experience. They are what they are: a fun way to kill time until the next episode. If you really need to scratch that discussion itch, try watching similar shows by the same creators, their influences, etc., and look for intertextuality.
Watching Haifuri right now. I expected comfy cute girls doing cute shipcrew things but was let down.
I finished Oniisama E.
Felt like I was watching anime Degrassi.
Taiho Shichauzo
can't blame anyone for not randomly discussing a 90's SOL OVA, though
Just because they didn't kiss or rub tacos doesn't mean it wasn't full gay. When inbibing the purest form of love you actually have to pay attention to the themes and subtext.
That's exactly what Flip Flappers is though.
Thunderbolt Fantasy
I'm certain Utena is like Eva in that it's always okay to make a thread for it.
Suka Suka.
My nigga.
>Madoka threads before the crack/anti-crack spam wars
It was a more civilized age
Also Noragami
Hyouge Mono
The fact that so few people know/talk about it boggles my mind.
Hyouge Mono is amazing and the MC is literally me.
So you have a limp wiener?
Noragami was really nice. I also watched it years after it aired.
I'm watching boogiepop, threads were fun but I will just get sad if I go look at them
No, not that part. I really sympathized with him in his attempts to leave his aesthete ways and become a real warrior. Especially at failing to do so.
Well the manga is still ongoing but it's once a month and threads are nowhere to be seen whenever a chapter releases
>Papito
I just finished ZBL. I wish it had been a longer series and an adaptation of something like a manga with more substance, but the characters and settings were good anyway. Was surprised to see it was just from a mobage and now I understand Spheres and those evolution Imperial things. The main plot and most of the lore were basically unintelligible. The short poetic info dumps Kero-chan gave at the beginning of each episode did little to help and I was mostly just not understanding why things were happening but still being entertained, especially by retarded dragon girl antics and their magic fighting. I also thought some of the subplots were surprisingly good, like the restoration of the hot springs or Bahamut and her father's drama near the end. Jormugandr best girl.
Hidamari Sketch. Now I just feel emptiness
Thunderbolt Fantasy is amazing to watch along with Yea Forums, my condolences. It's still amazing to watch by yourself of course, but it's definitely a whole 'nother experience being able to watch it week-to-week.
How about 98% of the anime I watch because nobody on this board has seen shit bar MALs top 250?
It shouldn't. 30+ episodes, shit tier animation and a run off the mill premise. Most people are gonna avoid the anime because the synopsis sounds like something they've already seen before. Nobunaga anime are way too common.
God, I want her to spit in my mouth...
I literally finished Flip-Flappers earlier today. Show went from a high 8 to 9/10 to a forgettable mess around the end but I still enjoyed it. Yayaka becoming a Flip-flapper and wrecking the Mad Max world Loli was the best part around that point but still I completed it out of obligation.
>run off the mill premise
How many anime are there about using tea ceremonies and supplies as a way of waging war and securing territories?
I finished Legend of Black Heaven and Golden Boy recently.
I don't think I'll talk about either for a long time because my friends haven't seen anything older than One Punch Man and JoJo's.
That's not the premise of the show. It's the comedy relief segment.
I finally read through Sora no Otoshimono and now I'm depressed.
I did that with yuyuyu and nowayu, seeing people's reactions and speculations is great. Threads do really add a lot to the experience.
Kakegurui. It's really good. Better than that Kaiji shit.
finished Slayers Try yesterday
it was markedly worse than the first two but still liked it overall
kinda bummed about the only remaining seasons being only half length each and everyone saying they're shit
also about zero prospect of another season of comfy adventure happening anytime soon, and even less of it being good
Those threads were a special time, levels of comfy I've never known before. Show's still good to rewatch late at night too.
shitto tastu
>Kakegurui. It's really good. Better than that Kaiji shit.
This is the most brainlet thing I've ever read on Yea Forums.
Is this the new style of yurinigger cope?
The ED was good, reminded me of a Japanese Boyz 2 Men.
youtube.com
Yeah but the movie wasn't that amazing either
There's rarely any discussion since everyone already laughed.
Nadia of Blue Water, the movie.
I just finished ueno san and lucky star, watching kill me baby, gonna start watching shirobako, pani poni dash, resume watching boku no bitch ken, and from this season gonna watch mom isekai and tejina witch
I've been meaning to watch this one actually. How was it
no bueno
You won't get at least half the jokes if you aren't the author, but it's pretty funny nonetheless. There's a lot of cute girls as well.
Gakkou Gurashi
I finally watched Amagami, but I knew about it before it aired and there really isn't much to discuss.
I'm just upset that I didn't realize it was actually great.
good show, season 2 never
>tfw i will never witness first hand memes from this
There's not much to talk about for this show. It had lofty ambitions and mostly executed all of them well, with a 10/10 ending. Helps that the director made the world far larger than its runtime so he could keep trimming it down.
Twintails. Was fun for what it was. The threads were probably amazing watching weekly.
Welcome aboard the phos suffering train.
I recently rewatched this with friends and they loved it. it's a good series hopefully s2 someday.
Keep reading the manga, user. I know most of the OPs give some hints, but if you're interested, just give it a go
>declaring their love for each other as they run across a field of flowers wearing wedding dresses
>not gay
>my friends haven't seen anything older than One Punch Man and JoJo's.
I understand your pain.
I only have a few friends that are "into" anime but it's only on a surface level. It's hard to get them to try anything made before 2010ish
I still think this was the best "ride" show there ever was and ever will be.
Is that a good thing?
There's still the occasional manga thread when a new chapter gets released
Yes, but the retarded mangafags will stone him for liking the anime, because muh dog.
dantalian no shoka aka gosick lite
It's basically issue of the week melodrama with a bunch of crazy people.
Samflam threads were fucking incredible.
Hell, the show is incredible in general.
There never was anything quite like it.
It was a genuinely magical experience. After Furious George, nobody knew what the fuck was going on or what to expect at all. Every time people settled down the show threw another curveball. Crazy theories were flying left and right and they still managed to be less absurd than what actually happened. Fujoshits and yurifags somehow coexisting in harmony. People constantly dropping the show only to pick it back up after they realized they'd been rused. Tons of assorted toku discussion with /m/ pointing out all the tiny references hidden within the more blatant ones. It was pure insanity and I loved every minute of it.
What a masterpiece.
It's the normalfag old anime.
Grancrest Senki. This series has no business being this good. Episode 9 in particular was a hoot.
dororon enma-kun meeramera
seikimatsu occult gakuin
taimadou gakuen 35 shiken shoutai
time travel shoujo
saraiya goyou
rokka no yuusha
koihime musou
watched all of these this week
Good times
This happens to me with Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imōto ga Iru!
Plus i can't find any manga in english or spanish to finnish it.
How did you like that orgy?
orgy?
Come on now.
oh yeah i'm retarded i literally remembered it the millisecond after i posted, my bad
it was a mixed bag, i wasn't a fan of enpi getting molested by disgusting shit colored slimes, wasn't a fan of great king enma being a literal flaming faggot, i did like the angel yuri and enma+yuki scenes tho
i started cracking up when it become so overpowering it almost ended the world and everyone wanted to die
i'm also fucked off the different version of the ED wasn't subbed, but oh well
The whole of love live. Original and Sunshine. Kinda want to discuss that I feel something is missing in the ending of Sunshine S2. The actual love live win felt rushed and I wanted to see the competition in focus. But I guess that's what it was about, saying good bye to their school and not actually winning the love live. (Also they were rambling and comming together like they were on cocaine in the end, Chika is insane)
Yeah I wish the insert songs had subs. They were pretty catchy and there was a bunch of em.
i really wanted to download the ost, but there is literally no subs for it on nyaa, i really liked the music, the op was great, i also liked the ed, the background songs were all pretty good too
i liked that "yamate kure"? one the most
