Well Yea Forums, you bastards finally got me. I don't watch anime outside of what my friends peddle, and I don't read manga. But I just binged the absolute fuck out of pic related and now I'm stewing in my own despair that I caught up so fast.
I love this Dorky Spider and I want to snuggle up to her and praise what a high-level monster she is.
Reading manga mostly. How does she interact when she gets an arachnea bodybir does it skip over it pretty fast? Thats what im most interested in.
Owen Rogers
If you mean with other chracters the she doesn't do it a lot. Remember that Kumo is an antisocial and shy person with others. But there's another character with whom Kumo is very close and most of the time this characters acts as a translator of the incomplete/in-coherent words of Kumo.
Brandon Hernandez
There're also other characters that over the time learned how to read Kumo's body language or how she think to more or less predict her answers. But there're other who are complete morons that can't understand nothing of her and end only creating more problems. In these cases the relationship is mostly bi-directional because Kumo can't also understand what the hell they're doing.
Aoi Yuuki will be the saving grace of the anime, just shut your eyes, listen to her "nai waa~" and imagine the manga.
Oliver Watson
I know that feeling, user. I binged through it myself about 2 weeks ago and now I'm still left wanting more.
Nathan Scott
Drama cd when?
Gabriel Ross
Give Tensei shitara dragon no tamago datta a try, it gave me the same feels as Spider.
Early Re:Monster is also pretty good too, it turns to trash after a while though. I'd recommend buying Seven Seas release of this if you can afford it, according to leaks they're trying to get Alphapolis to allow more licenses.
Not to spoil too much but the LN includes short chapters detailing the perspectives of others in the class. The plotline eventually merges in with Kumo. These were skipped in the manga.
Connor Morales
Why is the story where MC turn into monster, it always turn to shit when the MC turn into beautiful humanoid?
Landon Russell
Because they're abandoning a core, creative concept for ugu humanoid. It's like making a sci-fi movie where halfway through they just stop and chill on modern day earth.
Wyatt Phillips
Probably cause they want it to be a harem. What kind of ISekai it would be if it don't have harem stuff?
Brayden Thompson
>What kind of ISekai it would be if it don't have harem stuff? A better one.
Brody Harris
This.
Harems are normie-tier trash.
Dominic Russell
wait, kumo will return to an human form ? fuck !
Evan Allen
>return user...
Jose Robinson
Not the same user but I don't see the issue? She was a human first after all.
Ethan Hernandez
haha "return"
Luke Parker
Kumo legit is the best isekai I have ever read, and I'm saying this 100% unironically. Great MC, actually non-retarded supporting cast, extreme detail in the worldbuilding, no haremshit, and did I mention based MC.
Lincoln Hill
Already released. It's IIRC voiced by Uesaka Sumire, but then Aoiu Yuuki NTR'd her from her role for the anime.
Isaiah Perry
Last boss is also great. Great world building, great supporting cast, etc. And I also unironically like vending machine. It has one of the stupidest premise for an Isekai but it's surprisingly good.
Lucas Scott
TIME TO SHOW OFF MY KUMOKO CHAN PICS
Christopher Evans
>girl >implying The only good girl, excluding kumo and vampire, is the little sister of hero.
Nicholas White
She's the main character throughout the whole story though. Sophia and Wrath take the spotlight momentarily but never do they take the protagonist chairs, they take their places to the side of Shiraori.
It takes a long time but yes. She becomes an Arachne and eventually gains a human shape. She remains a spider through and through, however. Even when shaped like a human, she has eight pupils, sleeps in a web, and eats people.
How exactly does she go about eating people in human form?
Leo Lewis
By using her fucking mouth to chew
Jaxson Moore
because there's only so much you can do with the story with just monsters.
Hudson Rodriguez
But does she cook them first or does she eat them raw? Does she use utensils or does she still eat like an animal?
Ian Miller
>does she cook them first or does she eat them raw? Generally raw and completely unprepared. Or even still living. She did cook elf stew at least once though. >Does she use utensils or does she still eat like an animal? The most usual for her to just take a limb and eat it whole, bite by bite, bones and all. She is a spider, and spiders do not have manners.
I'd unironically watch it if someone matched the audio to the manga panels I don't think I have the strength to stomach more than one episode of awful cg garbage
Hudson Young
OH NO NO NO
Julian Perez
People are evil and using magic is killing the planet. This is literally FF7 with a spider that died on earth and became a spider on another world.
No that was the PV we got like last year. I think it airs next season.
Jonathan Brooks
Shouldn't spider just drain it prey inner fluid after inject it with venom that dissolve the inside of the prey?
Hudson Roberts
While this scenario would be hot, in reality spiders just vomit up a bit of their digestive fluids on their food to soften it up and make it easier to swallow.
Benjamin Miller
>Mom! Look what we've got for you!
Eli Harris
Ah it doesn't look THAT bad at least, I'm casually optimistic. If nothing else I really like Aoi Yuuki for her voice
Easton Smith
Fucking little brats I love them and I know that in some way Kumoko also like them.
Kayden Myers
It could look worse
Cameron Smith
Taratects are not a natural evolution, not a normal spider species. They are descended from the Ruler of Gluttony, who consumes all that fits within her mouth.
Imagine killing a fucking insect only so that it is reborn as a literal god. IMAGINE IT!
Jayden Evans
No, it just Isekai author lack imagination to came up with interesting ideas. A monster with human level intelligent roaming the world would be pretty interesting. It can showcase the world through the eyes of the beast and interact with denizen of the world using non-verbal communication. It can show us the POV of an RPG monster. The possibility is endless.
Ian Foster
Technically the novel did that with the Divine Beast Arc and also a little with the upcoming Travel to the Demon Territory Arc.
Ryan Reed
>A monster with human level intelligent roaming the world would be pretty interesting. That is exactly what this series is though.
Josiah Jones
it always becomes limited when it comes to human interaction.
Levi Howard
It does that for a nice long time, then it moves on to other things.
I know. I mean that usually, a series started with the MC is a monster, the main reason why they always turn into beautiful humanoid is that because the author want to inject romance plot and harem stuff into the story.
Since you said "Kumo" and not "Shiro" I assume we're talking about within the W System? You would first begin taking acid damage until you die, at which point part of your soul will be converted into EXP and your body converted into stamina.
Gavin Jenkins
You would be still conscious. That actually happened in the story when Kumo swallowed baby Sophia (aka Vampire Girl). She though it was a dream/memory from when she was inside her mother's womb.
Sophia was freed later by a falcon punch from Ariel.
