this. it doesnt help that they reuse the same deadbeat cast that has a limited voice range and the voices they can do are bland and boring. its crazy that vidya genuinely has good voice acting (not always) but dubs are almost always dogshit, especially female characters.

It's common for companies to play favoritism, I'm not saying it's a good thing, but even the anime industry from Masashino Tokyo, to Texas, companies, Directors will hire their prefered actors
Look at Aoi Yuuki, and Jamie Marchi doesn't get as nearly much money as voice actors like Cherami Leigh do

Europeans have a good anime market, since they buy Blu-rays, and don't depend on shitty American companies; for the most part.

The only "streaming" service I'll admit to using is audible but since its not anime no one cares (unless they start translating recording LNs)
