I feel that the author is slowly setting up for a this huge arc about redemption, as he started off as this retarded and evil guy in the beginning. So he dies in the end, because the author needs to kill someone people care about, something he hasn't done throughout his whole work

While I've toyed with the idea, I really think with how things are going that's not going to be the case. Accelerator is going to live a peaceful and happy life in a world of joy that he himself has created with Qliphah, the clones, and everyone else I feel. That's his end game, he's already passed the 'muh redemption' arcs and Will wants him to move forward and stop looking back at them with Qliphah's help. So the redemption thing isn't really a thing nor relevant.

Maybe. I'm doubtful. But for the sake of actual discussion I'll humor you. I assume that if Kamachi does kill him off for emotional reasons, it'll be after people come to care about him even more and even more proof that he's a good guy surfaces. I know Kamachi has already used 545 for a power up is likely to pull harem shit with 545 and Last Order, but introducing the squid could also be a way to get people more invested

If you genuinely think it's just for harem shit then....yeah. Qliphah has a lot of uses in terms of promoting growth in his character and vice versa.
But the harem shenans is probably also part of it, as it always is.

Accel is best girl

I don't see Accelerator's feelings towards 545 as romantic, but its clear he cares about her. Probably because she reminds him of both himself and the clones. That alone opens up a path of growth. Even if 545 slips into the role a comedy character that doesn't do much (which is kind of what I expect) it doesn't really close the gates on Accelerator's growth

Obviously it's no romantic yeah. But if romance were to bloom with anyone right now it'd probably be Qliphah, though pretty unlikely. I really don't think Qliphah will slip into that realm since Will literally said "Be his guide to the future" more or less. She's gonna be with him all the time and integral to his further progress, after that, maybe? But I see her sticking with him to the end game more so than Last Order or the clones due to their circumstances. But yeah he definitely cares about her, or else he wouldn't have tormented himself over her crying and trying to get Neph to apologize.

I'm pretty sure Last Order is sticking around too. Unless you're implied Kamachi is going to pull an "oh I lied in OT22 heehee"

I meant it more so as wherever Accel will be, she'll likely be as well whereas Last Order obviously can't be with him 24/7.

I'm actually curious as to what's gonna happen with her. I assume Accelerator will want to send her to school and let her make friends.

Probably, but I think we might not see Last Order right away. He might work on restoring the city for a bit first until he finds it suitable to bring her back. But that can be solved with a time-skip.
