I remember when the anime randomly turned Kanako into a psycho for season 1 before she became a more prominent character. Honestly though, the OST was the best thing about both seasons. I even remember how they fucked up Adolf's last flashback in comparison to the manga.

Reminder that Terra Formars has plenty of moments when the reader can see a girl with a bare chest but it shows female nipples only in a really gruesome situation:
1) a cockroach killing a naked girl;
2) Eva regenerating from her tit;
3) Joseph stealing Eva's animal powers while she is headless;
4) Adolf's wife being a cheating slut.

I probably should have changed "naked" for "cute". That scene was ridiculous though. I was also surprised how the author went and killed off both the Russian and Chinese leaders pretty quickly, at least the Russian went out like a boss.

Also, I wonder if the Invoker name applies to all baldies or only the one on Earth. I don't like him though, he is a bastard. The youngest one on Mars seems pretty cool, what's with how he told other roaches to back off after witnessing the old soldiers' determination in their final fight.

Both the Kanako personality change and the embellishments they made to Adolf's flashback/arc were probably the weirdest things of the first season.

You'd think that with just 13 episodes they wouldn't linger too much on the details of the NTR, but the anime ended up softening it into something more conventional and causing the entire thing to drag on longer than it needed to. The anime's Adolf arc ended up being kinda mixed for me because of that, and it didn't help that most of the action was pretty slideshow-tier for the most part.

I still think the first season really hit its stride from episodes 4-6, the anime was great for that short time and I still vastly prefer the first season to Revenge on account of the better presentation (no colours and filters aside) and superior OST. Even if they cut out a lot of the light-hearted moments it definitely felt like it captured the tone of the series way better.

White people thinking that vaguely black-looking villains are, ugh, so problematic.
