well my hero is not very subtle and some of the pacing and action is good, but it is not that good at storytelling, and catered more for kids. Where every back story is explained right away, also the next seasons are much worse. First was best.

Yeah OP here, when I think about Dragon Ball I think about the manga since it's the best version. Kai's pretty good too but that came later. The original Dragon Ball Z series definitely isn't great.
