Leakers hate us
Boil no Hero Academia- Spoilers never
Screw leakers
When we needed him the most leaker user disappeared
On the bright side we’ll be going into the chapter completely unspoiled so more of a surprise factor
Why does Aizawa look so dead there
Every WSJ series is gonna have spoilers before us lul
Well with all the terrible shitposting in these threads, it's no wonder why they make you wait.
I came here cause the other thread is all rape talk now
that's what happens when you respond to anons calling themselves female with anything other than "tits or gtfo"
Yea Forums sure is one strange place
>redestro jobs lol
>more Shiggy flashbacks
>cliffhanger for no reason
There I saved everyone 13 pages of boredom
OBSESSED
Gonna be straight up. This cover is probably one of my least favourites.
>cuck MC
>sue rival
>irrelevant fapfuel
Hilarious and original
*Cute MC
>genderswapped
>Deku being haunted by a cute ghost!
Get better threads and you'll get leaks sooner
12 pages? What do you want 11 pages for?
why do people keep changing the threads name? its just cancer to search it in the catalog
Any idea when the full scans should drop?
The fastest way to find the thread is to search "acad"
I always type in Hero first
i do that as well but i doubt everyone does. i mean as you can tell this thread is already dead
late thursday probably
They’ll find it eventually
tomorrow afternoon-ish
Everyone move to the making fun of Jobmo thread
>Leakers hate us
Everyone hates you and your garbage manga.
hello 2006
>decade old memebase shit
no idea if should be impressed or kill myself.
anyways, enjoy your ban.
I dunno, it's not bad. It's just kinda generic. The characters look alright although this fancy colouring hori does doesn't do it for me. Although I've never cared much for the covers anyway.
Based
I want Mina to take a leak on my face.
>anyways, enjoy your ban.
>implying there are mods on this board
Serious question, i'm not baiting for (you)s.
Does this manga even have a direction that it wants to go to?
This arc feels completely out of place, like the Gentle "arc".
Why should i care for a villain training arc, where they beat completely new characters? There are no stakes here and we haven't seen the main cast for like 3 months now.
It also made me hate Shiggy, who was my favorite character before, because for some reason he could keep up with Giga from the start and now got even more powerful thanks to quirk evolution.
I can't really explain it, but this arc feels more like a movie than an actual manga arc.
>Banning someone for posting an old meme
Hori has some vague ideas about what he eventually wants to do for some of the characters, but other than that there's no actual direction, no. Just cool action set pieces pasted together.
It’s a good arc. Could use a little more fleshed out with Redestro but still good nonetheless.
isn't that the problem of every WSj mangaka? i mean they probably expect to get cancelled and don't plan 200 chapters in advance, but BnHA feels even more randomly put together than other WSJ manga.
i also really like this arc, because it finally gives us some world building, but the everyone knew the liberation army were jobbers from the start, to make the league look more menacing.
i really wished they would've been a 3rd party in the overall story.
Is Mina the dedicated female body odor character? There has to be one.
>isn't that the problem of every WSJ mangaka?
More or less. Other manga at least have a (for the most part) more thought out world and established power system, other than "superpowers btw", and generally stick (albeit loosely) to a predetermined plotline. HeroAca doesn't have that.
>the dedicated female body odor character? There has to be one
I want Mina to take a shit on my face.
Ironically enough, dragon ball threads are the only shonen threads I have very much experience with so far. Is every other shonen fandom full of this much fujoshit? I thought it was supposed to be the opposite.
the smell of grease and gasoline would mask most of Mei's sweaty female body odor unless you really stick your nose in there
>Is every other shonen fandom full of this much fujoshit?
This thread is actually rather light on Fujoshit right now. You should've seen the last one.
Why is it other WSJ series have spoilers already but we don't
We’re not good enough in the eyes of the holy leakers
>Other manga at least have a (for the most part) more thought out world and established power system, other than "superpowers btw",
This is something that bothered me from the start. The quirks are so fucking random, they don't feel like comic based superpowers, but straight up magic.
I mean you have a guy, who has a sentient shadow entity living inside him AND for some reason also has a crow head, just to match his theme.
Also why do so many people look randomly like monsters, when there quirk has nothing to with it? Shouldn't they be the one who are outcasts?
I dunno what to tell you man. This arc revitalized my enjoyment of the LoV and actually makes me think that there is something interesting coming for them after this. I guess I always kinda saw Shiggy and his growth being a mirror to Deku and his growth so I've always seen both of their growth and development as important. I dunno why you'd hate Shiggy. He's always been shown to have the speed to keep up with Giga. And I'm willing to wait and see what exactly has happened to his quirk but I mean if he's been training it for however long it was I don't think it's that extraordinary that it's developed
It's a set of popular media franchises where only muscley young male characters are allowed to be relevant. It shouldn't be a surprise.
No, they just hate you, user.
Hear hear!
And this is the CALM section!
Post BakuEri
cute and canon
No
dragon ball threads are the most autistic and cancerous shit you can find here.
no, not Jojo or Fate, don't even try to defend it.
DBS threads are literally nothing but autistic shitposts.
You can't even find a single coherent sentence in a 500 reply thread.
It's because very little thought has been put into the actual designs, other than "lol just make it match the theme". But until (if ever) we get some exposition on the actual origin of these powers other than
>Dude AfO lmao
>Dude shiny baby lmao
>Dude mother of all quirks lmao
we'll be stuck with a world we know nothing about, characters that are poorly designed and written, doing things because reasons with powers that are completely unexplained.
if you're tired of fujospam in shonen threads just go to the moethreads where cute young female characters are allowed to be relevant. or do both.
i love everyone in this thread!
On that topic: How the fuck can you even write a fight between Deku and Shiggy?
Destroying things by touching them is already an extremely shitty power in terms of fight choreography and usually used for side villains who fight a specific character.
But not only is Shiggy Deku's personal antagonist, he now can rot people instantly without even touching then.
My fear is that it alls comes down to Shiggy "playing" with the other characters (inflicting minor wounds that can be healed later) and Deku getting some defensive qurik, that runs on willpower.
Tl;dr: Deku vs Shiggy will be a massive disappointment
The biggest issue with the quirks is that Hori doesn't seem to know normally, what side of the realism-magic scale he wants to be. Some like Bakugo or Momo have their quirk mechanics explained in a 'realistic' manner, while others like Tokoyami are just supernatural.
Western Comics get around this by either making up science or just admitting that there is magic, Hori hasn't done this at all.
Then there is the general lack of world building in the series. Hori hasn't detailed the world beyond it being like 20-30 years beyond ours tech-wise. What does Japan as a whole look like, politically and all that? Who knows, we've barely learned anything about the nation beyond heroes. Outside Japan? Even less info given.
I don't mind the story as a whole, Hori has great art and design which keeps things interesting, but there are glaring issues.
Cute and very canon
>It's because very little thought has been put into the actual designs
true and you can clealy see that Horii wants to write some fucked up horror manga. he clearly has a gore/hands fetish and is somewhat overwhelmed with writing a weekly shonen series. If you look at the manga Pygmalion, who was made by one of Hori's assistent, you'll know what i mean.
Deku will conveniently get some magical healing quirk that can somehow undo disintegration
Easy. Give Shiggy 6 quirks too
Dragon Ball threads are the worst on this site outside of Yea Forums or /r9k/. Never admit to using them.
Hori seems to be following a two tier track. On the one, he's showing us the development of Deku, with all his friends, teachers, All Might, and society shaping him. On the other he's doing the same with Shiggy and the LoV, but also filling in their backstories AND giving us the chance to get to know them as more than 'the bad guys'. That the LA are new characters is less important than the challenge they pose to the LoV, and the consequences of this battle. As for Shiggy surviving Giga, and quirk evolution: Keep in mind, Giga wasn't trying to kill Shiggy or the LoV, he was just appalled at how weak they were and has spent the past month and a half forcing them to get stronger. As for quirk evolution, some posters here got hysterical - more so than normal - at 7 quirks and demanded to know what sort of threat Deku could ever face that would matter with that much power.
How about an evolved Shiggy?
