Pic related are my favourite girls, don't have one for favourite boys. My top three are, in that order: Tarantula (center), Minako (top left), Saki (bottom right).

Asuka stands out on yours. Because she's:
A) a girl
B) far less direct, straightforward or simple than most of the others.
For the male characters, if you like them because you feel connected to them, you seem like a very direct, sometimes brutally direct kind of person who can be quite stubborn at times and tries to solve problems with a heads-on approach, possibly with force.

i have so many favourite characters because i find many of them relatable to be honest, enough to relate to many and feel bad if i couldn't include them.

I get that sentiment: I myself love many characters, and I practically have both a favourite male and a favourite female character I like for each anime/manga I know, even the ones I don't even like. For example, Tayuya in my 3x3 up there: I can't stand the Naruto franchise as a whole.
I needed a long time to even decide how to fill the last few spots on it because I like so many of them. And it's the reason I haven't made one for male characters yet.
But I am very certain about the very top picks on that list.
