I would have gotten a toyota but all the sellers were gay, either overpriced their shitbox for no apparent reason other than having a toyota emblem or didn't maintain their car and often times it was both

Get a cheap Autel, picked mine up off the Snap-On truck for around $50 a few years ago, reads generic and manufacturer specific, can be used to monitor data, and has a shortcut button to show IM readiness for vehicle inspections. Sage for wrong forum.

I've had one of the cheap Bluetooth adapters for years. Looks similar to the BAFX one that Amazon sells for $23.
Don't buy the Torque app, just use the free version as it has all the functionality you need to diagnose problems and clear codes from the ECU.
