The disassociation also really sort of varies at a lot of points, not necessarily even progressing chronologically or linearly, but seeming more like a stylistic writing style thing. There's time's where you'll read "If I wasn't Tanya...", then some pages later a bunch of disassociation, and then again "Tanya knows (I know) ...".

To give you an idea why, in the first volume of the light novel, on page 3, he talks about the Stanford Prison Experiment. On page 8, it's the Chicago School of Ecnomics. Before the book is half over, you've hit Rawls' Theory of Justice.

So if you want some real fucking nerd shit, go for the novel, if you want the action and the art, go for the manga. The novel translations are currently at Vol 5 with Vol 6 coming out on the 30th, and 7th slated for November 30th. Japan is up to volume 11.

This is a difficult question. Her anime form surely is even less wifeable than her novel one, which in the later volumes of the novel is around 14-15. However, she is also voiced by Yuuki Aoi, which makes her extremely wifeable.
