Does anyone else think that the current season of anime is fucking fantastic when compared to the absolute disappointment that the last season was?

this season though does have a lot to be excited about though, even a lot of the lower quality ones seem like they could be hidden gems

Are you kidding? There are literally only 2 shows I want to watch this season. It's as dry a season as I've ever seen.
At what point does one begin crawling seasonal anime? I've been watching anime off an on for the past several years and I feel like theres still an endless amount of avowed stuff from the past 40 years.
I wouldn't say it was fucking fantastic, but it's decent. As long as last season doesn't become a commonplace occurrence, it's fine.
you're better off than most seasonal watchers because you're willing to actually go back over those 40 years instead of just whining that anything older than 5 years is old
I find that hard to believe. If anything a lot of older anime looks better animated than hyper-budgeted modern stuff.

Last season definitely was a lower point but it wasn't that horrible. This season is looking to be significantly better though, that's for sure.
