Now that Wano is about 40 chapter in, how does it stack up against WCI?

Wano lacks any real tension so far. Whole Cake had a much stronger start.
>40 chapters already
what the fuck. how many did wci arc have in total?
wano is boring as fuck. wci sucked too but at least the setting was kinda cool and some of the big mom pirates seemed genuinely threatening.
This arc needs to finish so we can get to Elbaf
You kidding me, WCI was okay at the outset but was followed by the underwhelming forest and Cracker fight and the awful Sanji chase and reunion
I was wary with Tama at the beginning but haven't felt down about much else. I haven't been blown away either though.
Based.
Why people still read one piece after 20 years?
They already found the fucking one piece?
40 chapters into Whole Cake is right in the middle of the Tea Party. The forest stuff is only a small portion.
One Piece is the greatest long-running manga.
It's gonna keep going for another 10 years at least.
How can they call it Whole Cake Island if someone can just go there and take part of it?
>the big mom pirates seemed genuinely threatening.
>successful infiltration with 0 casualties.
>"infiltration"
the SHs were tracked the moment they entered the territory and played for fools
Yeah, and nothing happened to them. Very threatening.
compared to beast pirates, definitely
Without Jinbe coming to the rescue they would've been fucked.
What is ROCKS?
Former crew of Big Mom, Kaido, Shakky, Whitebeard and Bakkin.
they are both shit one piece died when Ace died.
POST 'EM
>D is a symbol for the half-moon, not a letter
>Usopp will feed Black Kabuto a Devil Fruit
>Zoro is literally half-asleep
>Dragon will be the one to topple WG (Imu), not Luffy, through the insane amount of Inherited Will (Imu is Dragon's endgame, deal with it)
>Devil Fruits originated from the Shandoran forest
>Monster Point is an Awakened Zoan form
>Usopp may die
>Blackbeard is a type of 'fake' D.
>Dragon has the strongest CoC of anyone currently living
>Crocodile was a Revolutionary
>Zoro can only Asura thanks to his cursed sword
>Rayleigh was the strongest swordsman before Mihawk
>Yoru itself is just a hilt and the blade is pure haki
>Blackbeard dies in a Marine raid
>Yoru itself is just a hilt and the blade is pure haki
This makes no sense.
Ace is still alive he just changed his name to Sabo.
>(Imu is Dragon's endgame, deal with it)
>dude his devil fruit power is candy/biscuits/mochi but he's actually really strong lmao
I hate this kind of shit
Post timeskip arcs:
WCI > Zou >> Wano > PH >>> Dressrosa
>dude his devil fruit power is rubber but he's actually really strong lmao
It’s fine when it’s creative like Luffy but yeah I get you.
>fictional edible objects that provide superpowers to people
I hate this kind of shit
Both are pretty fucking shit. Man one piece has become so fucking bad since the timeskip..
Luffy actually uses his power well, Perospero literally just asspulls whatever he wants but made of candy
this
oda lost his steaks after the devil fruit asspull
Post your favorite chapter covers
Both arcs suck.
Sakazuki taking time off work? Bizarre.
Maybe. But Wano sucks even more.
You know, people hardly ever post normal covers. It's always color spreads.
Carrot is the only attractive female in the Straw Hat crew.
Now post your favorite panel in the whole series.
EL was full of kino panels
sorry for the shit quality
Stop, I don't want to be a furry
Because EL was the best arc.
Without the Tamate ex machina they all literally would have died.
Here you go user.
how can this post be so right?
>DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON
Both are bad. Can we go to Elbaf already so Usopp has his time to shine?
It's a shame he already has Kaya. He could've gotten a giant waifu.
usopp will die in elbaf
Oda knows what's up.
Will Zoro get a new sword in Wano?
my condolences
Nidai Kitetsu maybe?
Gorsei worry about many things. They worry about unfilled Shichibukai spots. They worry about Luffy causing havoc. They worry about Blackbeard causing havoc. They worry about Void Century being studied. They worry about human-fishman relations worsening due to Jinbe leaving. They have 99 problems... but Dragon ain't one. They never as much as mention him in passing. He isn't on Imu's hit list either. Revos are a joke.
What's that? How many times she can cum in a session?
Maybe prior to EL, Gears aren't any better than what Perospero does.
WCI was cool in the sense that it wasn't hyped up at all, had a personal stake since it involved a strawhat that's been with us even longer than Robin and it gave Luffy a different boss type guy to fight rather than the main big bad of the arc which is prettty fresh all things considered.
It was meant only as a detour like the story itself said and it managed to be much more but Wano on the otherhand doesn't really feel personal, was hyped up by Oda himself and is looking like it'll be the next Dressrosa at worst. I'm still hoping it turns out well.
Kaido's men are a bunch of shitters and I want the BMP back.
I like wano so far, it all feels like one big powder keg about to explode, I am looking forward to the moment it does.
>Oda has shit taste
Well... not really unexpected.
>Dragon
>not being a jobber
The revolutionary army is built for jobbing.
Nah, they're going to fuck because Imu is Luffy's mom.
The BMP are back. Chilling near Wano seas.
Pretty much this.

Has Laboon been training his haki? He better not lose to a fucking rubber anchor.
The pic is from one of their bondage sessions.
He's been sparring with Lord of the Coast.
Wano feels like a polished Dressrosa and I'm all for that, it has a considerably less bloated but more relevant supporting cast + all the strawhats in the same island working together presumably until the end for the first time since PH.
What will be Wano's Birdcage?
I'm putting good money it's going to involve earthquakes 100% since it's NotJapan and I'm also picturing some level of destruction reminiscent of end game Namek by the end with Super Haki Luffy Vs Kaido.
Kaido
How does this make you feel?
There's always a bigger fish.
>190381089
hysterical
Can someone redpill me on Carrot? Is it just a meme at this point?
It's a serious meme. Furries.
Can you honestly say you wouldn't fuck this bunny cunny?
When Sabo dies, Luffy will get the Mera Mera.
Reminder that the only people who hate wano are shitposters and those with taste equivalent to five year olds
Kinky
This forest hate boner is something I never understood. Cracker to me was the first show of how out of their depths the SH’s were in the NW. Unlike in dressrosa where I knew Fuji or Sabo could stomp Doffy if things ever got out of control. In WCI it was the first time I truly wondered how they would make it out alive and the forest really solidified that feeling.
Mera Mera should've gone to Rebecca.
It's due to people who started reading weekly at WCI
Kaido is just slouching, this is accurate
> those with taste equivalent to five year olds
but oda himself said wano is an epic funny arc and will only get 50 times funnier
Which Yonko has the best commanders?
Why did WCI go by so fast compared to dressrosa? Wano also feels like its slated to be much longer than WCI
Dressrosa was 50% Birdcage
Biggu Mamu
Honestly, they mostly suck. Katakuri is a good character, but Smoothie and Cracker might just as well not exist. Shanks' men are non-characters despite existing since chapter 1. Queen is fun(ky), but Jack is only good for memes, and King is nothing interesting as of yet. So I think I'd go with BB boys out of sheer Jaya nostalgia. It won't even change when we consider WB, since they're really bunch of nice designs, but I can't tell I care for any of them but Ace.
Baroque Works a best antagonist group. Impel Down staff a second best.
big mom
cracker was jewed
>Many breaks
>Introduced a ton of new characters to build up Luffys fleet
>Colosseum took time
>That whole setback where Luffy got thrown out the castle and had to run back up, further delayed by a flashback and then giving all the SH grand fleet guys their own chapters.
>Birdcage and Luffy taking 2-3 chapters to recharge
Dressrosa was also the result of at least two arc (Doffy and Dwarves) being combined into one to save time.
>that nearly year long hiatus immediately after Law got shot
Honestly, Bird Cage and "Wedding Cake!!!" dragged around the same for me.
What? Really?
How many flashbacks were there? Riku and Kyros both had several chapters worth IIRC.
Maybe it was only a few months but it certainly felt like a year.
Yes, but there seems to be a trend of memes being turned into reality in One Piece lately, so...
Yep, than a long hiatus after Doffy got up after Kong Gun. Luckily Oda finshed Dressrosa and Zou in a short streak then, even adding first WCI chapter cause anime needed some material.
I remember people being hyped about Dressrosa nearing its conclusion when Sugar was KO'd.
And then Oda pulled reset everything and Luffy had to run back to face Doffy and the arc took another year to complete
>Riku and Kyros both had several chapters worth IIRC.
Senor Pink took half a volume too. Also the lengthy dwarf one. Dressrosa was a killer with these.
>Rebecca
>Kyros
>Law
Had the big ones while Riku/Viola and Doffy had shorter ones iirc
Wano's at 40 chapters, so it's about 25% done.
(the pace Oda's going at, it's completely impossible to end it at any less than 150 total chapters)
I'm preferring everything in Wano to Whole Cake Island UNTIL the Pudding psycho reveal, then I prefer WCI. This will change dramatically in act 3 and 4.
>April 28 2014 chapter 745
Pica throws Luffy out the castle
>September 28 2015 chapter 801
Luffy finally leaves Dressrosa
It took well over a year
yes, "seemed", I admit the arc went to shit as soon as Luffy beat Katakuri
But for a while it had potential which is more than you can say for wano
The funniest thing about the reset was that most fights still ended up being as before it. Luffy and Law were still against Doffy, Franky fought Pink, Zoro fought Pica, Sabo fought Burgess, Rebecca fought Diamante (and was just as useless) and Usopp had to take out Sugar again. Gladiators aside, the major moves were Kyros going from Doffy to Diamante and Trebol assisting Doffy.
Has Wano even gotten started?
Oh yeah and chapter 745 is Birdcage too
>which is more than you can say for wano
user holy shit, my sides.
>arc with 2 Emperors, all the strawhats, a few supernovas
>somehow less potential than Sanji ''get on the fucking ship already'' filler.
What's your favorite part of Wano? How the setting is just generic feudal Japan, how Oda is recycling the same fucking 'save a kingdom' plot he's used like half a dozen times, or how none of the beast pirates are remotely threatening or interesting besides Kaido?
Face it man, Oda's lost his touch. We haven't really had a good arc since the timeskip
I like Zoro
WCI was one of the worst arc and was way too much dragged on but that was to be expected for just a set up arc
Wano is too Japanese.
When are they going to Yono country?
Yes user, them running away from a Yonkou and fighting a Yonkou commander is going to compare to them defeating a Yonkou who's the strongest creature in the world, can transform into a dragon, with many of the Supernovas and Straw Hats against him, with many Sulongs going off and probably some of the Navy being involved too (at least 1 admiral, probably Ryokugyu).
DUDE
ODA MADE WANO COLORFUL SO IT ISNT GENERIC FEUDAL JAPAN
>how none of the beast pirates are remotely threatening or interesting besides Kaido?
DUDE THE FUNK
HES FAT AND FUNNY
To be fair, Oda makes sure to make antagonists look like jokes at every turn. It's hard to feel any threat. Hawkins finally managed to do something after 3 humiliations in a row. Other than that Kaido's guys are punching bags.
Who doesn't?
yes, Wano has all this setup for years AND IT STILL SUCKS
I have nothing to face. The arc's been delivering for mostly everyone. We started at a lowpoint at the beginning of the timeskip, however each arc has only been getting progressively for me. Dressrosa for example has flaws, but I massively prefer it to FI or PH.
>arc with 2 Emperors, all the strawhats, a few supernovas
only kaido, big mom, luffy, hawkins, and law arent jokes
didnt oda say wano already reached its peak recently too
>Who doesn't?
Obsessed schizo Trannjitards?
>What's your favorite part of Wano?
Not him, but definitely the execution and smile reveal that tied up the stuff from previous 300 capters. That was friggin' glorious.
Zorojuro
It really doesn't though. The 940s have been lit. Only the 930s were boring.
Also you're only helping me, because we haven't even started any of the stuff I've mentioned. I know you want your cute cake arc to be superior, but that's just not going to happen.
>country of fightfags
>no fights
Wano is a joke arc
What the fuck is SAD anyway?
Don't forget Kid.
One Piece was better when the arc stories were simpler. Nowadays, Oda is trying to cram in too many characters, too many interactions and plot points at once, and in the end the story suffers for it because it moves so damn slowly.
Arcs like Alabasta and Skypeia were way way better. He kept it simple and straightforward, with an emotional tension that remained throughout the entire arc.
obsessed
You're looking for act 4 Wano, when the actual war at Onigashima starts. Also there have been fights anyway recently.
>Betrays luffy
>find out he was with the black beard pirates the whole time
To be fair with Queen, who could actually take on BM? Kaido and King are the only ones canonically able to.
I like the nostalgia of those arcs, and they're indeed solid classic shounen arcs, but I do prefer what I've read of Wano so far to everything in them except the high points near the end. Wano's much more entertaining in the standard chapters than them, and we haven't gotten to any of the high points yet.
luffy
>It really doesn't though. The 940s have been lit. Only the 930s were boring.
Disagree, there's just so much filler. None of the antagonists besides BM and Kaido(and maybe the admirals if they show up) mean shit and I legit can't even remember most of the allies they introduced. We're going to get another dresrosa with lots of dumb plot contrivances and filler fights between meaningless characters, only with none of the good points
>I know you want your cute cake arc to be superior, but that's just not going to happen.
I thought WCI sucked, maybe I wasn't clear about that.
>shit fruit
>kills civilians
>broke out of prison and immediately got captured again
>let his crew members get mind raped
>law was a shichibukai so his bounty was frozen, immediately gets a higher one than kid once he got expelled
>luffy was doing nothing for two years, comes back and immediately has a higher one, proceeds to triple that
>not a joke
>Crocodile was a Revolutionary
im curious as to why people think this
Brook after 1 year in the hyperbolic time chamber.
Act 3 is Onigashima. It will fail though and Luffy will fight Kaido for a third time on the mountain
It's only a matter of time until Dragon and his tranny cult get btfo.
>im curious as to why people think this
Not him, but it's probably because Ivankov(member of the revolutionaries) has some sort of blackmail info on crocodile
Your cynicism is very palpable user, sasuga.
Is it because Law is Oda’s wife favorite character that he has been feautured in almost every post timeskip arc?
I was mainly talking strength. I don't consider any Supernova that's gonna fight alongside Luffy and Law to take down a Yonkou to be a joke, you do you though. Kid could literally gather all the swords in Wano into a ball and shoot them into the ocean.
I got my hopes up for both dresrosa and wci and was completely disappointed. It would take a miracle for Oda to salvage wano. If you reread the earlier arcs you'll see just how badly OP has declined.
Wano's unfinished but I prefer it most of WCI. Why are we comparing very unfinished arcs to finished arcs, anyway?
It's because he's pretty cool, you can tell because he has a human body and isn't a complete shitter.
I've re-read everything many times. Disregard quality for a second and think of elements of an arc and importance of an arc. In that regard, neither of them will be able to compete with Wano even remotely. But so far the quality's been delivering for me as well.
law is zoro-level coolness
oda realized he struck gold
Honestly youre a joyless fucking faggot if you hate Wano and WCI and should consider ending your lives because nothing will ever make you happy
Before we all get too caught up in our own bullshit, you guys do realize that Act 2 is literally meant to be comedic, right? Oda even confirmed in an interview that there's supposed to be a comedic tone. It'll only be in the later acts that the drama and tension picks up. Particularly after the Oden flashback. People only started liking WCI after the Tea Party, which is 50% into the arc. And in fact during the arc, it was just the usual shitposting, people only liked it afterwards.
He's just an edgelord with a nice hat
Zoro's Three Sword Style is actually not unique, but is very special.
Probably someone like Oden or another Sword God originally used it too, which is why both Mihawk and Hiyori are incredibly surprised at it.
Zoro's fucking boring. Law is a turbochad.
Agreed, watching this little girl being forced to laugh at her own father's death was really funny
There are dramatic moments, but the overall tone has been light and comedic. The true drama of the arc doesn't start until later, Yasu was just a warmup.
Sounds like an ironic statement considering the situation.
t.trannjichode
Vegeta is an edgelord, Law is a Piccolo

You mean Lawchad
I've been loving it so far.
What? I think you misunderstood my post.

Might as well claim Luffy isn't getting married to Alvida, some things are just set in stone by now.
I wonder if there is a friction friction fruit out there.

>were-futa
This shit's my fetish, continue.
Law's a fag.
A fag for bear dick, the chaddest of penises.
It's been pretty insane so far.
this was a good move, big mom got hits on in queen, but queen got hits in on big mom. but, all of this while big mom was nerfed, so he made yonkou commanders look good against yonkou, while also keeping the yonkou reputation. after she regains her memories queen admits he has no chance.
wouldn't that hurt queen just as much
It's tough because I felt like the worst parts of WCI was the later half but it was thematically fun to look at and the side characters were interesting. Big Mom is still the worst thing about it.
I think I find Wano more interesting just because it feels like it has more connection to the rest of the world despite ironically being a place closed off. Side characters have mostly been disappointing, especially on the Kaido's minions.
But I rarely ever cared too much about the japanese feudal aesthetic.
i like sanji
he's pretty cool
Nah, Ancient Zoans are said to have much greater durability than regular Zoans.
>especially on the Kaido's minions.
How dare you.
Shanks because his boys are just raw power houses/gunners. I can't wait to see Lucky Roo fuck someone up.
It's not like people even need to be told a dinosaur can take a hit better than a bull.
Why are they so perfect?
Apparently they do.
brutal mog
I've never understood this opinion. Everything exciting in WCI happened in the latter half. The first half had that forced drama with Luffy/Sanji.
Queen has absolutely insane neck muscles and is an Ancient Zoan, granting him super durability. He tanked multiple hits from Big Mom and took minimal damage. He just can't hurt her easily.
Can I still play this? Is it even worth it?
>how does it stack up
the only thing that stack up are these fucking generals, holy fuck and this is supposed to be a fucking break week
Wait, did Katakuri have a cape?
anime filler
I think that the Germa 66 stuff that kicked off WCI was great. Very menacing group, I enjoyed the oppressive atmosphere that permeated Sanji's childhood. I think that everything up through the party was perfectly solid, but the rest of the story arc was a huge slog for me.
>Wano approaching full swing
>Anime is of actual quality
>Stampede only a month away
There's plenty to discuss now.
>read mango like once a month
>end up forgetting half of what is going on
>anime is slow paced filler paradise
I wish it ended already and they remade the anime without all the minute long panning shots of nothing
I appreciate you expanding on this opinion, but again I'll never understand it. I enjoyed the threat of a Yonkou chasing the Straw Hats, and them holding her off.
bluepill me on carrot
sorry lad but nothing on that list is worth having 3 (three, tre, trois) generals at the same time
You mean
>Kikus dick
>Kikus cock
>Kikus long dong
If she's in the movie, they're hiding her design for some reason. And the minks, which is odd since Inu and Neko were Roger pirates.
And yet they popped up anyway.
Hey I'm all for that if you want.
and that's what i'm lamenting, right now. anyways, let's leave it at that: i don't want to derail this one any further
>I enjoyed the threat of a Yonkou chasing the Straw Hats, and them holding her off.
The part where Big Mom actually catches up to them and jumps aboard the Going Sunny to battle them directly was fucking great. Awesome cinematography, and I liked how Big Mom was so huge that the ship barely had enough room for her. Luffy vs. Katakuri dragged on for me sometimes, though, and there were episodes like that one that focused on that tiny bit character (the mob boss) that made me think "Why am I supposed to care about any of this?" I'd also hit the rock bottom of depression during that particular stretch of the series, which I'm sure didn't help in my ability to find it interesting.
Big Mom Pirates spending time creating a shit-ton of food to introduce to Wano to win over the loyalty of everyone not in the capital
How big and thick do you guys think it is? Given her size, and the fact that she's a warrior, it has to be about 15-20 inches in size, and about the thickness of a Pringles can.
the big mom's pirates organizing their own coup d'etat to take over wano would be so fucking good but i would also be satisfied with an alliance between them and the beasts pirates for the fire festival night
Finally bought some new figures
>Pringles can.
I'd say wine bottle.
Jesus christ those boobs are fucking awful.
Not gonna lie, the beast pirates despite having the comical depictions so far are far more interesting than these samurai chumps. WCI had great built up with eventually a recovery of a once regarded "boring" supernova turning out to be excellent in his own right with Big Mom's crew looking so ridiculous yet intimidating and the way Oda showed them feel like a giant fighting force made the whole arc have a sense of dread which is stark contrast of the scenery which has that disney/pixar vibe.
Is Enies Lobby really all that great, or is that just a Boomer meme? My brother is 32 years old (I'm 24) and he's always like "Now Water 7 and Enies Lobby, that was a REAL story arc... *sips*"
Anus Lobotomy was shit.
Water 7 was great though. Which is why ELbrainlets so desperately try to latch onto it and consider them the same arc.
Both of you should fucking kill yourselves.
Enies Lobby was ok. But far far from being comparable to the actually good arcs. It's all fights and no tension, Lucci is an awful villain and gets beat by power of friendship.
>or is that just a Boomer meme?
it's more of a normie meme, if anything. enies lobby has basically everything that satisfies a casual reader of shonen stuff: 1on1 fights, powerleves, a rescue mission, super edgy villain, etc.
still a good ass arc but definitely not the masterpiece that many people claim it to be
Why?
t. older user who thought Water 7 was incredible and Enies Lobby was good
Back to DBS fightnigger
I've always wanted to read through all of TS again because I've always followed it weekly, but god does the size of it intimidate me.
It makes thematic sense
>god does the size of it intimidate me
do it at your own pace, no one is pressuring you
>treating Water 7 and Enies Lobby as separate things
You really can't have one without the other, people who call out the 1v1 battles are retarded because those are just part of a far more interesting larger battle. Lucci was pretty shit, though.
TS?
Yes you can. Water 7 is a discovery arc, EL is a rescue arc.
Transsexual, and boy does the size intimidate me too.
Based.
>treating Baratie and Whiskey Peak as separate things
You really can't have one without the other.
Can't wait for Enel to come back from the moon with an army and become the Pirate God.
Am I the only one that thinks Cracker is the most threatening commander thus far that we have seen in warfare? He can control and create multiple soldiers at the snap of a finger. All of them are sturdy as fuck and even after hew as knocked out, the soldiers were moving about. Not to mention, all his soldiers are edible too, so you also won't have to ever worry about starvation, disease, or some other issues related to food. I guess the only problem is how people can hide in one of his soldiers, but that seems like a minor inconvenience when I doubt most characters can even get past one of his soldiers.
cringe
>infinite food
>infinite soldiers
Definitely. None of the other commanders top this.
Water 7 is mostly just a catalyst for everything that happens at Enies Lobby. By itself it's just a very sad arc with little catharsis, everything gets resolved at Enies Lobby except maybe the Franky family conflict.
Fucking kill yourself, dipshit
Based tranny fucker
Far more enjoyable. Whole Cake was a giant slog to read through compared to the fun packed Wano clusterfuck.
Why is Robin portrayed as being sexually attractive when she's 30?
The reason it could work is that Wano's unambiguously fucked environmentally even if the Beast Pirates are kicked out now, imagine the sour grapes if the Straw Hats successfully leave Onigashima and arrive to the citizens of Wano doing a fucking musical about how O-Lin and her wonderful family restored the island
Is there a 3D map of One Piece's world?
Serious question time. Was Zoro stronger than Luffy from FI all the way to around Dressrosa or Zou?
OOOOOO
BEN BECKMAN
Wait 2 more years. There's a shit ton of stuff that has yet to happen here.
is this really how the map looks like? why are there are so few islands in the x blue seas? and why is everyone stronger in the grand line?
Hard to say, but depending on what Zoro does this arc and if he did or did not train during the Dressrosa time, Zoro might've been stronger than Luffy during those arc.
Luffy was holding back G4 all of the timeskip, still not sure if Zoro can match that. I don't think there's any way to properly gauge Zoro's strength relative to Luffy's with just what's been shown after the timeskip
>'Homies' is short for Homunculus, making one of WCI's main themes the creator of 'magical' artificial beings wanting to possess the capability to make artificial beings made with science
forgot pic
>and why is everyone stronger in the grand line?
Plot
Nah. Law is just cool and his power gives Oda an out to kill him off to bring somebody... likely Luffy, back to life.
She's the next lookout
Hell no lmao
zoro AT BEST is stronger than base luffy
The more I look at Oda's retarded map, the more I realize he can't utilize travels.
How the fuck did Robin, Zoro etc get past Toto land without getting caught? Why couldn't they join Luffy & co since Toto land comes before Wano?
Do you really have to go under the red mountain if you want to enter the new world? how does this shit even make any sense?
>Eozia
What place is that?
What the fuck is up with that Grand Line? Also I know this was just meant as a visual and not a geographic representation but this seems a lot closer to what the Grand Line should be like
Wano is going to be one of the final story arcs, right?
No because Gear 4. Without Gear 4 though? Absolutely.
Zoro seems to be around Kyoshiro (Denjiro) / Ashura Douji / Jack level to me, and he still hasn't gotten his Wano powerup.
that's what it looks like when you turn it into a globe
they could've sailed near Prodence outside of Mom's territory
Seems normal. If someone was born in a more competitive area, they would naturally be stronger than someone that was born in a less competitive place. In a more competitive environment, the standard and quality of what they get would be higher too, which would aid in their growth. More people have a reason to get stronger in the Grand Line, while people in the Blues don't have a reason to get stronger, so they would mostly not train, which results in them being weaker. Same reason certain school districts continue to fail, while successful school districts continue to succeed.
Where did you see it
Ahem, the blue are well policed by Navy so most pirates gotta run to the GL because the autistic oceans on it makes them annoying to govern at sea making nice pirate spots, and the New World is much worse when it comes to batshit crazy oceans so its an even better area for pirates to be. For some reason(PLOT) the new world has unusually powerful beings compared to the rest of the planet.
Its Cozia

Wind doesn't blow in the calm belt so you can't go to the New World unless you have a ship that can overcome that issue. Also weather is terrible so not many people would want to go though.
No way in piss any of those islands are as large as Hispaniola.
The blues are so fucking empty what the hell?
Zoro has been holding back Asura the entire timeskip.
Whole Cake Island was super fun at the start, but I would say it didn't really have "tension" until the army came for Luffy. Until then, the biggest conundrum was just how to convince Sanji to leave.
Only North and I think West Blue can casually get to the new world directly since the redline blocks South and West from getting to it without the current thing.
Isn't Amazon Lily on the calm belt? How did Hancock and her ship travel on it? Marines use seastone and diesel engine to move, but I don't think Hancock's ship had that.
she had some giant sea snakes pull it
Sanji's "betrayal" was pretty tense in and of itself, I think. That kind of thing stresses me out.
Hancock can kill Seakings with one punch.
this. people are like it is "plot", when it makes perfect sense for people in more dangerous places to be stronger
Honest question is there any real reason to ever farm in Wan Piss? Their world is mostly ocean that is full of giant food as long as they can efficiently get lots of seafood they would never need to farm ever. However the humans on the Red Line would need to farm due to their really shitty high altitude coastlines.
the sneks that pull her ship pack enough venom to kill a seaking, so they're avoided
This shit is retarded, where did it even come from?
Maybe he didn't come up with that much since they aren't the focus?
And Pedro. And Pekoms. And Pound. Lots of P's dying in Whole Cake.
that's the secret to why people are huge in OP, they eat sea monster meat all the time
Sea kings are rare as fuck believe it or not. Pretty sure there is a fishing industry for normal size fishes though.
>Asura
It's just a manifested illusion of Zoro's big dick aura, silly. He's not actually growing new limbs to get stronger
>Tequila wolf isn't even attaching any islands together
What fucking horseshit is this? You don't start a bridge from the goddamn middle out.
I hope Oda does a spinoff or something that fleshes out the Blues
Holy shit I'm reading up on it and it's true. Pretty nice actually.
Hancock is not weak for sure, if her tribe, including herself, can tame these dangerous beasts, does that mean everyone in Amazon Lily is crazy strong? I wish Oda could've turned it into a whole proper arc on that island.
they probably use some kind of conqueror's haki to tame them
The Blues honestly sound like complete shitholes even compared to the GL. The South has mafia bullshit based on Bege, the East is an underdeveloped dump, North has constant wars, and West I have no idea.
That's why the Blues are so empty, it only depicts the islands we've heard about.
>The map only presents canon locations. The colors, positions or format of the islands and places are not 100% accurate, because they were only based on the information that we have available in the manga.
The visual is nice and thanks for the link but this shit is only going to confuse anons. Oda's visuals and maps are still easier to read
East Blue feels pretty comfy now, even if it's underdeveloped. Much safer than anywhere else.
East Blue's not that bad, it's just lame.Every pirate in East Blue was hiding there because it was so peaceful.
Who is guarding Enes Lobby and Impel Down if Marineford got moved to the other side of grand line?
>live in wci
>offer 1/6 of your lifespan
>live happy ever after with protection and no racism, prejudice, etc.
>if BM goes on a rampage, her kids will come to save you
>if anything gets destroyed, Perospero can just make a new one in seconds
>no one is plotting a rebellion
>live in wano
>99% of the citizens are poorfag eating poisoned food
>those 1% are at risk of becoming poorfags too just by being in the way of fodders like Page One
>literally no way to move up the ladder without selling your body
>half the citizens are plotting a rebellion
>Luffy came from the pussy of the Blues
Oh the irony
Living in WCI is worth it if you can worship those sexy octuplets Charlotte girls.
Robin and Bege are from West Blue iirc. Honestly don't think there's much elaborated on which one is worse, other than East Blue being the pussy ocean
I hope we'll get flashbacks of an even younger Luffy. I wonder what he was like at six, since seven was the age that he ate the fruit and also when he started wanting to become a pirate. I forget, but the flashback with Ace and Sabo takes place after the flashback which begins the series, doesn't it?
Can anyone explain how Shanks is in the yonko league? kaido is strongest man, big mom is big mom, and blackbeard has 2 devil fruits but what does shanks have?
t. occasional wanpiss thread lurker
God tier haki
The most dangerous man in the world and his second in command are from there too. East Blue is the underdog of the oceans, those niggas gotta fight harder for it
shanks is shanks
It's after the flashback, yes. I'm not sure there's much to know about Luffy before he was seven, we already heard about what Garp was doing to him.
Sorry, friend, we're as clueless as you. We know very little about Shanks even 22 years later.
Shanks is supposedly really strong and can duel guys like Whitebeard and Mihawk and even had an offscreen fight with Kaido but he's never actually been shown fighting
No wano native has seen him used 3 sword style yet. When he retrieves Shusui someone will remark that he’s using Oden’s signature technique.
We literally don't know yet. At most, he has Conqueror Haki and was able to appear at Marineford hours after fighting Kaidou.
Dude *breathes in* HAKI
Why was Big Mom portrayed as being a sweet little girl and a good person at 5 and 6, when she's such a horrid and evil person in the present?
Wano isnt that ass backwards they have electronic technology they just use it for necessary things like propaganda.
Because Streusen corrupted her this was blatantly shown, and she still had lots of her innocent ideals left even as a pirate empress at age 70.
>Queen has a mechanical arm
>Franky and Kuma are cyborgs, Kuma's brain is even cybernetic
>Axe Hand Morgan has a fucking axe hand
>Shanks never bothers with any prosthetic at all
>innocent ideals
Which ones?
we don't even know if they really did fight. for all we know, Shanks could've just given him a bunch of booze and shit
We know he can fend off Kaido, and Whitebeard's men were somewhat fearful (or at least) wary of him. The fact that he has pull with Sengoku and the Gorosei is pretty suspicious, Shanks seems like he's hiding or protecting something as opposed to the other Yonko who were old rivals mostly old rivals
>people change between kindergarten and adulthood
????!!!!!!
would be based if Shanks challenged him to a drinking contest instead
She built a nation where every race could live together, and wanted a family table where everybody could see eye to eye, both notions clearly inherited from her time at Carmel's with other orphans.
>he could potentially get along with Kaidou
That might be even more impressive
A country where any race can live in harmony among any other. The bad part? She want's to be ruler of it and thinks it must be maintained with an iron fist. Lastly, she still demands tribute via a month off your life every six months.
Despite all of that, I'd rather live on one of those food islands of any kind than wherever Kaido rules, it seems you are nothing but slave labor and that's it.
This is the MLK to Arlong’s Malcolm X. How do you think he feels being the Uncle Tom of fishmen?
why does she need everyone's soul?
The whole wanting everyone to be big so they could stand together thing. Her logic and methods are definitely flawed because she's a retard that's been enabled and misled with bad ideals her whole life
They also have a neat legal system based on Choco Ilsnad.
*blocks your path*
Moria will arrive on Wano with Thriller Bark and rescue the strawhats from Blackbeard to end the arc.
Gekko Moria is the man Tengu Hitetsu was waiting for.
Yubishiri will Be reforged. It is the sharpest of Zoro’s sword. The translation of the name of the swordsmith in this page is incorrect because of a (then) need to rely on Chinese scans which have an odd naming conflict with Japanese.
Either to make more homies, or because she can
So she can keep making homies. She has tis obsession of making every piece of the environment alive so they can be another part of her vision and delusion of everyone and everything being all smiles and singing like some disney sing along.
She can also use them as her eyes and ears IIRC.
if he gives up shisui hes literally nerfed
Big Mom's interesting in that, even though she's portrayed as being mentally slow as a child, she's actually quite lucid, well-spoken, and philosophical as an adult (except for when she's in the middle of a hunger craving).
Sandai Kitetsu > Other Kitetsu
It’s just not black bladed yet because it’s the newest. Zoro won’t replace it, he will make it rank higher.
it's not fucking WoW his swords aren't boosting his stats. I think he'll replace it with Luffy's Kitetsu
>This is the MLK to Arlong’s Malcolm X.
Awful analogy. Fisher Tiger was Malcolm X, Otohime was MLK.
The only confirmed settled area on the Red Line is Mary Geosie, we have no clue if there are other people there at all.
We do know that the WG doesn't count the RL as under their jurisdiction, so either it's barren up there or any people/civilization aren't part of the WG or they're hiding something up there.
He's not MLK, Otohime was. Jinbe is just Jinbe, and is meant to be a parallel to Arlong as inheritors of Fisher Tiger's will, not a parallel of Fisher Tiger himself.
Thriller Bark is still floating around in Paradise.
black blades (especially from """sword god""") are obviously a huge deal, zoro somehow got the best one that isn't mihawk's
I don't like Shanks' new look there.
>the descendent of the legendary Kitetsu bladesmith is on Wano.
Thinking Zoro will get Nidai Kitetsu is dumb because Tenguyama Hitetsu will make Zoro a Hitetsu Blade.
Do homies need to be refueled?
I'm counting at least 5 different slashes here, so I don't think that's true.
Shuusui is the same sword grade as Wado Ichimonji.
Mihawk straight up told him that if he was skilled enough with haki any blade would be a black blade
Yeah like how Luffy can grow dozens of fists, right?
>Zoro seems to be around Kyoshiro (Denjiro) / Ashura Douji / Jack level to me
zoro has recently been defeated by a bad tummy ache and one wound
jack survived two strikes from zunesha and came out perfectly fine
kyoshiro was literally grinning like a faggot while a MAD zoro was out of breath fighting him
Unless stated they don't seem to be.
That's cool, but the difference is Shisui is a black blade
>he was skilled enough with haki any blade would be a black blade
Yes, why would he change out a black blade from a swordsman's lifetime over a random one he would have to farm up?
Do you really think Asura is the same as Gatling?
Lame if so, it was just a mini version we saw on that cover page?
When are we getting Zoro's backstory?
>Without Gear 4 though? Absolutely
Gear 2 and future sight BTFO's Zoro
Chapter 5
>it's not fucking WoW his swords aren't boosting his stats
Zoro disagrees.
Baka. I mean the full story. Wano's supposed to delve into that right? I want something like what Sanji got in WCI.
>no idea where he came from
>no idea who trained him prior
>no idea why he wants to be the worlds greatest swordsman
>no idea who his parents/caretaker was
>no idea of the significance of his last name
>no idea why he wears the bandanna
>no idea why he wears the earrings
>no idea what the fuck is asura is and how he learned it
>used enbima yonezu onigiri once and never used it again
>has some weird killing intent power which he used at sabaody and vs. monet
>timeskip happens
>eye is closed with a scar over it, isn't explained or touched on at all
>still hasn't used asura or the stupid gorilla move
>this arc makes his teacher even more mysterious due to teaching high-tier haki and wearing a wano symbol
When will Oda elaborate on the most mysterious character of the Straw Hats?
Yubishiri was removed from the story until the end because it is the sharpest sword in Zoro’s arsenal (like Shusuei is the heaviest/sturdiest).
The name of it’s bladesmith is named in chapter 97, as is the statement that it is famous for how sharp it is. It’s at least 200 years old too.
Originally Oda thought the story would end sooner, so he gave Zoro Yubishiri immediately before (last Island of east blue) he entered the grand line.
It’s no coincidence that Ipponmatsu’s ship is 250 years old and has Wano legendary swords.
Some way some how it’s coming back to this story.
Kinemon's fox fire style is the final red poneglyph.
Zoro doesn't have a full story. He was born in the east blue and he went around and fought against dojos and other sword fighters. It's obvious his ancestors come from Wano, he even looks like the Ryuma who allegedly cut a dragon, which indicates Zoro is his blood-related descendant.
It’s a heavier and sturdier sword, whereas Yubishiri is sharper. These slight differences in the blade make a huge difference for a master swordsman in one piece, and that’s what Zoro is referring to.
Not the other poster but while you are right so is he.
I told my brother similar things about thriller bark. I guess it depends on your taste. Sogeking and the sea train are a big bonus, though.
Kinemonfag is always right.
A mystery first mate is fine, too.
the sad truth, honestly. One Piece has been really fucking bland the last while.
>>eye is closed with a scar over it, isn't explained or touched on at all
I think it's safe to say Mihawk did that. Doesn't seem like the kind of teacher to hold back on a student.
convince me this isn't Judge and Sanji's great great great grandfather or something
its the best one piece arc but water 7 is better if you separate them
The save kingdom is get Luffy allies for the final war arc or some bullshit.
Oden might have showed him the secret technique, true.
Am I weird if I actually liked Fishman Island fairly well but thought Punk Hazard was the low point of the entire series?
Nope. I think Fishman Island is underrated(like it more than Dressrosa pre-birdcage) and Punk Hazard is probably one of the worst arcs.
Fishman Island is great, and it's short as fuck anyway. The only reason I can see to dislike it is if you're a fightfag, a Sanjifag, or if the civil rights allegory bothers you for some reason. Unnecessarily hated around here, Punk Hazard is definitely a drag though
Fishman Island is short? I thought it was a standard length arc desu
Fishman Island was fine. I liked Punk Hazard quite a bit, if only for Caesar and Law. It does drag a lot in places though.
Wiki says 51 chapters, guess maybe it just feels shorter upon reading. The SH crew being so OP and the flashback being so long probably help.
>The SH crew being so OP
On a random note, I can never relate to the people who say that the Fishman Island arc was 'boring' due to the fact that the Straw Hats effortlessly steamrolled everything. That was the best part for me. It was fucking thrilling to see the Straw Hats be able to mow down literal armies of fishmen without exerting themselves, when back in the Arlong days it took all their efforts to bring down a single one. Moreover, such a arc was necessary in order to demonstrate how much they'd improved; if they immediately started fighting enemies that were their equals, it would be much less clear the degree to which they'd gotten stronger.
How many did Dressrosa have?
102
I hope things pick up.
My suspicion is that he's building up to a conflict between the Yonko.
Ah fuck it really was too many, I feel like around 50-60 is the ideal amount of chapters for an arc.
Can they stop chilling so I can have Smoothie's Bizarre Adventure, also holy fuck why is Kaido's crew so fucking bland? Other than some Monster girl kino his crew beyond King,Queen, and Jack are completely unremarkable
>Can they stop chilling
They're on family vacation, user. This is their time to relax
terasu yo....
Mostly my dislike of Fishman Island comes from Chopper's shit transformations, the nosebleed gag actually being taken seriously, and Usopp's lame plant powers.
Hordy was fine as a villain.
>THE HUMANS DID NOTHING TO ME
>except classify me as a type of fish, force us to live in this one spot where the sun reaches the bottom of the ocean, and enslave all the men I respected and admired
I'm not sure why people were so baffled that Hody didn't need to have personally been hurt by humans to hate them.
However, Punk Hazard is easily the worst arc in the series.
Soullll Pooocuussssss~
Momonosuke was made unlikable on purpose, right? And we're supposed to gradually like him as he matures? I wish we could have seen Zorojuro train him and kick his ass.
>Acts like a little perv
>Does nothing but cries
>Thinks Zoro teaching him some yell makes you cool
There are no steaks, it sucks.
I’m on episode 70, little garden arc. When does it get good? When do the villains actually start dying? When is the big turn of events, that really starts to put everything into view?
AHAAHAHAHAAHAHA
Is it really the same goofy, above-average entertainment for 900 episodes? Does the story hold it together?
user you're watching a cartoon for children. Get the fuck out of here.
>When is the big turn of events, that really starts to put everything into view?
The entire Water 7 arc, especially Enies Lobby.
How does someone watch 70 episodes of something they don't like? How is that even fucking possible?
>When do the villains actually start dying?
Never, it's a kid's show
>When is the big turn of events, that really starts to put everything into view?
Arlong Park, when Luffy gets his first bounty and we see Mihawk meet Shanks.
>>>/Naruto/
One piss
>He was born in the east blue and he went around and fought against dojos
This is not canon.
>he even looks like the Ryuma who allegedly cut a dragon, which indicates Zoro is his blood-related descendant
Bros, Luffy and Roger are related!
Zoro wasn't out of breath.
>Never, it's a kid's show
Wtf. There’s alcohol, mild language, big titties, and blood, but no deaths? That just makes the battles less meaningful
Go away
Go watch something more mature
Have you considered Tokyo Ghoul or Akame ga Kill? Gantz maybe?
The Germa empire would have never been permitted to fall if that was the case.
Celesriaor dragons don't care about their kingdoms.
Two years from now, Wano will only be as long as Dressrosa.
Who's the Boomhauer of the admirals?
>Punk Hazard is easily the worst arc in the series.
It's the worst arc but not a bad arc. It has a lot of good things in it and it's certainly better than the arcs of other shonen. It feels like Oda sacrificed the storytelling to set up elements that will be used better later on (Ceasar himself sucked as arc boss but is amazing as a hostage, for example)
is akainu from wano
No he's form Okinawa
877 is such a perfect episode. Probably the one I've rewatched the most
Pedro died
Will the Strawhats be able to handle Space Pirates?
The real reason Big Mom wanted to destroy Germa was because they are her perfect counter. There's like a balance between the Yonko and WG. If one of them hired Germa against BM, she'd be done for. Why her specifically? Her DF let's her steal souls of people who are afraid of her. The Germa princes do not have the ability to feel fear. And the Germa army? Clones don't have souls. Thus BM was willing to fake being allies with them--even in front of all her other allies, risking their suspension of their own relationship--to destroy them.
Your reply is meymey, right? Please be a meymey
Speedreader
Can Enel beat Harlock?
I prefer the theory that the Germa clones DO have souls, so if BM acquired their tech, she would have an easily accessed unlimited supply of them to use.
you said the same shit in WCI about Wano you fucking faggot.
Idk. I think Itchy was right when he said they would never be able to successfully use the technology, but I also think the shrewd BMP knew they couldn't. Especially since their plan involved immediately killing Judge--the only guy who knows the process.
Because it's his haki that empowered the sword
Yeah, and I wasn't expecting Wano to suck. I will freely admit I was wrong. Hopefully, Elbaf will be better.
How?
Roger literally only had the hat, Ryuma's a straight up Zoro recolor
Wado Ichimonji is actually the strongest and most loved among the swords he ever had. So I guess even if he gives Shushui back to Ryuma's grave, he'll be fine. Plus most likely we're going to see crazy power up for him in this arc, maybe he'll awaken another type of haki or even turn Wado Ichimonji into a black sword through the sheer power of his haki.
as if they can do shit against her
I fucking hate SHITnks but there's no denying that his commanders are based as fuck.
Blackbeards are cool too
Big Meme, only Katakuri is good
Kaido is the worst, literally all of them are worthless jobbers who constantly get humiliated
I wasn't expecting it to suck and thankfully it hasn't.
Reminder that Zoro would be using Santoryu right now if it wasn't for Luffy deliberately withholding a sword from him, despite Zoro politely asking for it TWICE.
A true man must be able to complete his work when he doesn't have the perfect tools to do so. Plus we wouldn't have gotten that dope scythe santoryuu scene.
King and Queen so far have shown better feats than anyone else in the series.
>Which is why ELbrainlets so desperately try to latch onto it and consider them the same arc.
I think EL didn't live up to W7 in the slightest. But they ARE the same arc. Basically nothing gets resolved in W7, the major villains stay the same, there's no pause between them, it's constant action, it requires creating an artifical entity like "post-EL arc" (and really a sea train arc, but no one considers it an arc). Only the setting changes and some minor villains and sub-bosses are added. But this way, WCI is multiple arcs too. It's not Jaya/Skypiea situation, when Jaya had its own villain and its own conflict aside of building up Skypiea.
>people who call out the 1v1 battles are retarded because those are just part of a far more interesting larger battle
>bunch of professional assassins decide to play games and fight between each other to make life easier for potagonists lol
Interesting larger battle you have here.
Is this bait?
That is actually more interesting. And the arc had many 1v1s anyway.
King BTFO Big Mom's whole invading army on his own and Queen captured Big Mom. Show me something comparable from anyone.
To correct him, they've shown impressive feats, but nothing Whitebeard level.
>not liking EL
Yea Forums will always be contrarian. They've done it with EL, Marineford, Wano, and they'll do it at Raftel. You've just gotta laugh from a distance and not take it seriously.
This, Whitebeard beat nobody and died to guns, it's so much more impressive than anything King and Queen have done.
>Wano
But I liked everything else but this so far so.
>the day we find out what One Piece is
>Nothing happens, OP sucks now, there are no steaks
>we find out what went down during the Void Century
>lmao who the fuck cares about flashbacks get back to the action already
>Vegapunk reveals how DFs work
>LMAO ASSPULL
I shudder.
You're not fooling anyone.
I'm sorry, I most liked everything but did criticize punk hazard as a whole, fishman island for a terrible villain and desrossa's pacing.
Marineford is indefensible garbage. Don't even pretend otherwise. The only positive thing in that entire shitty arc was Ace actually dying, even if it was in the dumbest way possible. Which Oda then ruined by reviving Sabo and making him Ace 2.0.
>Ace was polite
>Sabo is rude
>Ace wanted to make Whitebeard the Pirate King and was sorry he was alive
>Sabo wants to improve the world and inspired both Ace and Luffy to become pirates by pursuing the meaning of freedom
Sabo > Ace
Just because they don’t fear her, doesn’t mean she can’t physically finish them. They all would have been executed if Tamatebako had not exploded and we don’t know for aure whether they are alive or partially alive or dead after she returned from eating a wedding cake to finish them off.
>Ace was polite
>first time meeting Luffy in 4 years he tried to make him give up his ambitions and join his gay BDSM club instead
japan > viking cucks
Sanji was so cute pre-ts, why did Oda have to completly ruin him?
I cant believe sanjifags still exist, Oda writes him in a way now that his primary trait is being pathetic
>Whitebeard beat nobody and died to guns
Kek
We saw white beard in his decline. He was meant to be the sacrificial lamb for the new era. Yes he should have killed Akainu but mangakas refused to do what’s good. The whitebeard you didn’t see was an unstoppable monster the one oda showed you was a sickened old man To tired to fight.
Carrot is a traitor. Where is she in Wano? She works for kaido.
So you're saying we've seen Whitebeard do more impressive things than King and Queen because we never saw him do those things? What are you even arguing at this point?
he's absolutely awful after the timeskip. I can't stand him anymore, nothing he does is realistic, and no one takes him seriously.
Brachio Bomber is the strongest attack in One Piece, stronger than King's Punch
BRACHIO
I don't even remember what Jaya was anymore. Just a word to me. tfw forgotten a lot of early One Piece.
>Germa isn't Yonko level
No shit. That's why I said they'd have to be employed by WG or one of the other Yonko to turn the tide of power.
Also the way Oda draw Sanj when hes having his gags is way different, he used to look cute and endearing when spazzing out about women but now he looks revolting, I remember it weirding me out first after ts when he was creeping on Perona
>he doesn't remember Mock Town, Bellamy's fun card game, Montblanc Cricket & his Monkey bros Masira & Shoojoo, how a MAN'S DREAMS NEVER DIE or how Blackbeard's crew was introduced
Bet you don't even know what a Southbird sounds like or how much Luffy & Usopp love bugs.
Sanji is scared of spiders by the way.
After one of the most heartbreaking flashbacks in the story, Sanji tries to become a mouth piece for Nami by flat out ignoring the overwhelming tragedy of racism and the ostricization of an entire people by being a loudmouth who only responds to the fact that Nami's childhood was rough. He showed no personal opinion on the discrimination, no modicum of basic human understanding, he only wanted to please Nami, and his action isn't even what Nami wanted. Immediately after she told him to shut up, he went right by to having no reaction to the situation.
Sanji has little character to begin with, but what defines him in this story is his love for women, which is extremely vapid, and because of that, his character changes at the drop of a hat to fit whatever the nearest woman wants for him.
tl;dr he has no character of his own; the little bit that he did have (his dream of finding the allblue) is completely annexed in favor of being a tool for women. Truly, entirety of FI ruined what little character he ever had to begin with.
>Sanji is scared of spiders by the way.
Oh, motherfucker. Now I remember. I have arachnophobia, and the idea of tarantulas falling from the trees made me uncomfortable as fuck.
This is just speculation but maybe Oda just started seeing Sanji's creeping around women in a different light (namely, instead of being some "gentleman" archetype, he realized the behavior is pathetic) so he also decided to show that in his portrayal of Sanji post-TS.
Even putting aside the cuckshit he constantly gets his ass kicked in fights and is never allowed an awesome moment, at this point I can't think it is anything but intentional.
So Oda became an SJW and decided to play a game of "Take Dumps on the Nice Guy"?
I think being on Okama Island caused him to just forget how to act
Unironically the only thing that I dislike in One Piece is post ts sanji
Its a perfect manga otherwise, a masterpiece, but I hate that cuck
People find huntsman spiders in their cars REGULARLY in Australia. It's a "docile" spider, but the sight of one in your car when driving can literally cause you to wreck the car or give you a heart attack.
king did
queen was bailed out by narcolepsy
jack has better feats but cant get one job done
no homo but Zoro is handsome as fuck
Dear god. We've fallen this low have we? We might as well go for full-denial mode then, Chimera Ant arc is indefensible garbage, Kite being revived was hack writing.
He sure is
Yo is this the thread for anti-OP shitposters? I think this series looks goofy as FUCK and haven't even watched one episode. Wano sucks, we'll make sure we kill the hype.
Yes. Shitpost away.
O-Kiku a cute
>o-
For a very unfinished arc, quite well.
No one will argue there.
post the actual panel
>Huntsman Spiders
Australia is on par with Amazon in terms of creepy bugs.
Him actually training to fight gave me hope for his character. Let's see how it turns out for him, but I think he will have his moment of redemption.
>Zorojuro train him
Zoro just told him to yell 'pussy' while he trains, I think he was trained wrong as a joke
Here's the ACTUAL page.
It's been a dope arc so far, this was already in the top 10 best moments of the series.
anime-only here, this seems to btfo most of dressrosa by itself. i guess people just have an agenda with the shitposting. i'll just enjoy the arc in the anime.
Is Kaido actually evil or is he just an asshole?
O-Futa a trap
Kaido is a good boy, it's the drink that makes him mean.
Not Celestial Dragon irredeemably evil, but I mean he did incinerate a whole country so yeah that's up there on the evil scale.
I must apologize for Momonosuke. He is an idiot. We have purposely trained him wrong, as a joke.
He's a shitposter
Huh. Never noticed the "..........!!" from Kaido. It almost seems like he feels bad about it?
He's misunderstood is all, he's just so powerful and can't die so no one can understand him so he never had friends that were equal...
he almost killed tama for no reason at all
hes fucked
It was a delayed reaction to Luffy saying he'd be Pirate King
...
Here, I believe.
DELETE THIS GODDAMNIT
Why?
>Singled out from the minks
>But left with the other minks anyway
To be fair, Chopper was there with her, before finding "Linlin" passed out on the beach with the kids and Kiku.
Zorojuro
