We actually see the change happen in him: When Komugi started crying there was a shift in him and he asked himself what he's feeling at the moment, what he wants to do to her all of a sudden. Then he starts getting upset about his lack of privacy and orders them to remove their survailance from the floor where Komugis at. Because he had the need to do something but again probably didn't even know himself that is was sex at that time. And the rest was explained by Morel and co.
