What happened to their personalities back then?

Buscemi kept his.

after rewatching the first couple of episodes in preparation for the finale in two weeks, giorno was a different character in the first couple of episodes leading up to him joining the gang
bucciarati should have won their fight too, he sees GE floating around but fights without his stand until he leaves the train and then he outplayed giorno and got all these zippers on him but didnt kill him like he killed pesci because plot armor or bad writing

Early Golden Wind definitely felt different, in characters and tone.
It changed sometime after Trish's introduction.

pre-depression Araki

>Make a comment how Giorno is kinda boring compared to all the other JoJo's
>Someone loses their shit about how Giorno is waaaay more interesting than Jotaro or Josuke and gets more interesting development.

Look I like Giorno but remove Giofags pls.

You won't have to deal with them much longer. Giorno was nobodies favourite before the anime adaptation. The only "Giofags" are anime-onlys that like him because he's the one in the currently airing season.

>Giorno was nobodies favourite before the anime adaptation.
Not true.

Giorno early on was a great Jojo

>Charm
>Wit
>Devilish

The Giorno we got in the last 35 episodes?

>Astute
>Incredible obvervant
>Serious

What a let down. At least Jotaro being a serious delinquent was established in the beginning and we saw him going out of character a few times but Giorno? A literal walking hax robot.

found the giofag

None of the JoJos have been as entertaining as Joeseph, anyway.

>anime only

you're not wrong

You're going to love Jolyne

Bucciarati literally says he felt "reborn" after Giorno convinced him to betray the boss
Giorno was also directionless at this point, not knowing much about stands or even his own stand

So I've been told. I plan to read Stone Ocean onward once the season is over.

Golden Wind early on was very exciting. It became a huge slog as it went on though. The climax right now is laughable. I miss the weirdness, adventure, and unpredictability of part 2

They never got the chance to be criminals. Why bother making your characters criminals if they never commit crimes what the fuck.

Friendship. Not kidding.

Mista just shot a cop in the face and handcuffed him to a pole through his bullet hole

>Kill people
>Destroy public property
>Fight other members of the mafia which leads to death and carnage
>Hijack a truck by threatening the driver
>HIjack a plane and then destroy it
These guys are full blown criminals.

didn't giorno steal like 20 cars?

Josuke was close

In the first episode, we see Girono steal money from two girls and then steal Koichi's luggage.

What in the world are you talking about?

arakis writing is really starting to anoy me
Whole personalities change for no reason, and last episode was just nonsense, plot points that go no where, things that are forgotten or just change for no reason

I could explain if you are confused about the last episode but it all made sense. Yes that includes the whole soul thing and even Requiem.

Explain

What part?

Araki learned how to write in part 6.

you're going to hate jojolion after chapter 55 then

But Jojolion became kino again in the Ozone Baby arc

I love that arc

Here's just one great moment of hers.
Probably my favourite JoJo. I unironically think she frequently places poorly in people's lists just for being female. Her personality, creativity, Stand, and design are all fantastic.

Why?

Araki had a chance to create a MC akin to DIO, but instead we got low-key Jonathan. Wasted potential if you ask me.

All the Jojos act similar except for Joseph and Josuke.

Remember when giorno’s stand reflected damage back at the attacker? Or even caused someone’s senses to go berserk?

I can understand if someone doesn’t like every Jojo, but they’re all very distinct.

I swear i remember him naming this snake.

He’s reverse Josuke. Josuke started out kind of bland but developed a personality as the series went on. Giorno loses personality as his series went on.

remember star finger?

will araki ever bring hamon back

Giorno's main trait is that everyone around him just can't stop sucking his dick.

Abbacchio is upset you've forgotten about him.

>All the Jojos act similar except for Joseph and Josuke
how the fuck is jotaro similar to jonathan ?

Diavolo is so cute when he tries to be confident.

It changed because instead of "join the gang and rise up in rank to usurp the boss" it became a escort mission where the purpose was to kill the escort. It's stupid and rushed and VA could have used another 15-20 chapters of Giorno just working his way into the gang.

I feel a few chapters showing normal Passione operations, after Bucciarati became a capo, would have helped the pacing a bit.

Yeah for that reason VA seemed really odd and rushed to me. When I originally started reading up on the stands I thought it'd be much longer.
