Why can't I shake the feeling that Araki wanted to make Giorno and Bucciarati the same person, but ultimately had to give up that idea? Both take place in part christian-propaganda, but one has the genuinely caring personality and dies to save Trish, only coming back to life for a little while to save everyone else from Bossu. The other has jesus powers and is the son of Dio, but with less personality than fucking Johnathan of all people.

I like Okuyasu and Rohan but part 4 had a really low kill count for JoJo and I'm surprised they didn't kill at least one major cast member. I feel like Araki was playing with the idea of killing off Rohan with Bites the Dust or killing Okuyasu but he bailed.
Rohan would've worked imo because he would've died and gone with Reimi after defeating Kira, so I wouldn't have hated that, even if it sucks having to kill a character you like. Shigechi was like the only major character that died.
