Does S8 still have a chance?
How long did it take Naruto to become a popular manga?
This basically started to serialize the past month.
Dead on arrival, will be axed or moved to some irrelevant magazine in a few months.
after the anime
The first volume might sell more than HxH. I keep seeing people say its extremely popular in Japan but I can't find proof
I do think the anime will give it a huge boost and we'll see more of the initial "woah this is the real sequel to naruto!" statements we was in the beginning
I don't think it's "extremely" popular, but I think a lot of people are really underestimating the power of kishi's name. There's no way the first volume flops.
we're like 30 weeks into hiatus right now, we cant really laugh at anything else
is this tenchi?
It came alongside a bunch of axe fodder and kishi said he would take it slow/introduce concepts and stuff early cause he knew he had security. The first real arc should start this week with the villain ata so its gonna be telling from here on out.
Atta seems strong
Why doesn't Kishimoto keep writing/drawing Naruto stuff? That is guaranteed profit. He could do official spinoffs.
Because he's obviously tired of Naruto
I don't think he needs the money and he probably wanted to start something fresh from a clean slate, without the accumulated baggage of 72 volumes of stuff.
Based Hunterchad dabbing on a one shit wonder like Kishimoto.
nothing about this series feels exciting or interesting, even Mashima is doing a better job at the sci-fi stuff
>Why doesn't Kishimoto keep writing/drawing Naruto stuff? That is guaranteed profit. He could do official spinoffs.
He has stated multiple times that his original vision for naruto was nothing like what came to be. His advisors changed so many things that the series ended up not really being what he wanted or envisioned. Samurai 8 looks alot like what his early pitches for Naruto were. Talking animals and magical/mythical aspects out of the ass. Couple this with his fascination with sci-fy and Samurai 8 basically becomes the original Naruto.
>He could do official spinoffs.
Which he is by supervising the Boruto series.
To the contrary, because we're 30 weeks into the hiatus, laughing at everything else is the only thing we can do.
>obliterates a moon
>seems
I read the first few chapters and then gave up. There is something missing from the series but I can't quite put my finger on it.
And because he's had so much time to work on the story, we can rest assured that he knows where to go with it and will be able to stay true to his original plans throughout the serialization.
>your 25 Mashimabucks have been deposited
Did you say moon?
>Alt-colored One Piece Lite
>Doing anything better than Kishi
Least we know what Shiki is after. Luffy keeps saying he wants to be king of the pirates yet we still have no idea what the "One Piece" is, looks like, or does.
There's irl treasure out there way older than the treasure One Piece that we still don't know what they are.
Because what Luffy cares is adventure and freedom. He isn't after One Piece itself, but more about the the impossible challenge. It's a widespread theory though that he has one more secret dream, but no one knows what it is
Don’t insult One Piece like that
this is like Kimetsu no Yaiba but worse
