Rewatching it now, still pretty good. Shoulda focused more on the girls than the story, because they basically just carry the whole thing.

Got into the franchise sometime around 2012 if not earlier.
After a while, I forgot about the whole thing and I didn't touch Operation Victory Arrow nor Brave Witches. However, I got into the franchise again earlier this year and went through the animated works in chronological order. I then went with 501 Butai Hashinshimasu a few months back.
Currently waiting for Luminous Witches to come out.

What worrie sme is the gap between the 1940s setting and getting contemporary music getting thrown about.
Take that episode where Minna sings for the base, singing a song that really fits the time period, that was nice, made sense. Contemporary idol culture though just feels like too sharp of a departure.
