A lot of characters I have found out were shorter than I thought they were. I mean, Mount Lady for example is shorter than Deku by like four CM, and Fuyumi is even shorter than Deku as well.
They should go Early Dragon Ball style and have the movies in continuity with each other if they aren't canon to the main series. Creating interesting characters and then throwing them away is a waste, but creating an alternate canon is a fun experiment - Hori could use it as an outlet for his ideas.

If you have what it takes to be a hero, including desire, then you should be one, seems to be his main theme. But if you don't, then it's better that dream comes to an end quickly, before it causes trouble for you and everyone else. The school gives him the ability to do the latter by summary expulsion, and to test for the former by setting up any trials he chooses and teaching the students how to succeed . As such, if he sees a student like Shinso, he can train him to overcome his deficiencies - in this case, physical combat - if he's got everything else like courage, drive, morality. Unfair? No, he's remedying UA's non-rational testing procedure.

However, because she refused to give up no matter how much they beat on her and in the end won, defeating and killing her tormentor, she comes across as a victim of the LA itself and the heroine of the story. Joint Training suggests it's not that simple. Even if you know all about him and are wary, with his voice synthesizer, how do you know if the voice you're hearing from the next room or around the corner is a friend or him? Not to mention Shinso's REALLY good at hitting people's buttons and getting a response. Him being around also can mess up team communications. And with the capture cloth, even if you gag yourself, he's still a threat. Shinso has potential. Which is probably why Aizawa is training him.

And even if they stick together, what happens if Shinso's quirk grows to the point he CAN take over several people at once? Take the Reservoir Dogs as an example. They shout "RESERVOIR DOGS!!"
