Here's the thing. In most things, especially in the shows, as a Digimon evolves, they become better and better at fighting. The majority of Ultimate-level Digimon are geared towards combat, so they'd naturally be better combat tacticians than a human.

Then again, Tri dashed my hopes of it being pushed under the rug and it was by itself pretty bad too, so I just gotta deal with 2/3s of Adventure being crappy and hope this new thing evens it out to a 50/50.
