Don't watch the anime adaptation but I'm happy for the people who watched and liked it. Is Noda doing okay? What's with all the breaks the series has been on lately?
Noice.
I'm so glad.
MANGLOBE SAVING ANIME
I still have to watch S1 and S2 but Kokkoku was great.
>MANGLOBE
Manglobe is kill.

Geno Studio is Manglobe
How?
Restructured and refurbished, but it's pretty much the same studio with a new name
Manglobe died while working on gyakusatsu kikan so they formed Geno Studio to complete the movie.
And that's where everyone is now
There was a second season of this Trainwreck?
How is it a trainwreck?
It isn't, it's fedora o' clock so it's time to be contrarian again I guess
>gyakusatsu kikan
Not that guy but this had some nice operators operating operationally. There were bits of QUALITY though. The conclusion of the story can be "oh yeah? no shit" to some people.
I see.
Are we getting MAN WITH A MISSIONS back?
Not him but as a fan of the manga I do have to say I had to drop it around the time they got to Nihei because I couldn't keep watching after seeing how much QUALITY was in every episode and how little love appeared to go into it especially compared to the manga. I hear they ended up cutting out huge chunks of the story to rush to Abashiri in two seasons including the yakuza and the bear fucker arc.
In the end I just couldn't commit to a shortened, censored, and heavily watered down version of the story just because it has the benefit of sound and voice acting, not at all a worthy trade if you ask me. Plus the anime doesn't give you the cool cover pages or the really helpful info pages at the end of each chapter.
fucking nice
Based
Awwight make more Tsukishima merch
Nigga, the anime being ass is far from being the contrarian opinion
Best ongoing manga gets another average season.
I'll take this as a win.
>Best ongoing manga
Hahaha
I mean I like it but it's average at best
I disagree, but I can admit to feeling the same when someone overrates Made in Abyss, Berserk, Dungeon Meshi, etc.
I think the stated reason for some of the breaks is more Ainu research
It may not be at its best right now but it’s still good at best and average at worst.
Are anime adaptions of seinen manga ever actually good these days?
But not a trainwreck
All manga from this magazine had shitty adaptations. Kaguya is probably best one animation quality wise so far.
But it is, cgi fire proves it
Not that user but it feels pretty distinct in it's tone and style, I can understand why for some people it may be their favorite series.
If that is the reason then I wonder what he has planned
to me it feels like we're headed towards the final stretch of the story already
every time i see this being discussed it reminds me of that bear
That doesn't make it a trainwreck
Kek, I remember the first episode live stream
Not those anons, but in terms of the overall quality of the adaption and what brings it leagues down of what it could have been, the CGI shit doesn’t even scratch the surface. The pacing, the cutting of important scenes for convenience, and just the writing direction in general have all been pretty poor. I definitely wouldn’t call it a trainwreck though, it could be so much worse and for that we should be grateful and appreciative of what we did get
