I went in expecting a humorous food manga, not to get heavy feels.

What studio could ever do this justice as an anime?

The manga went downhill after the red dragon.

Unironically studio Deen for that wacky but kind of comfy style they do.

I feel the opposite, but to each their own.

I'm all for Ryoko Kui getting the attention she deserves but I wouldn't want an adaptation to ruin the already-full-of-shitposting-yet-somewhat-comfy threads with yet more shitposting

Laius is anything but bland. If an anime adaptation makes him look that way then its a terrible adaptation.

The point is that all the character are incredibly well fleshed out in a way I've rarely seen in manga before.
